Convenient accessible apartment: clean but several problerms Positive: Very clean, good location, all on ground floor- accessible. Appreciated loaf of raisin bread provided for our enjoyment. Negative: Smoke alarms went off twice, extremely difficult to contact owner/host (when I called the host's number, had to wait on hold for 30 minutes to talk to girl who couldn't help.} Called fire brigade twice, they came in a big fire truck, and they contacted Fire Protection for us to shut off alarm. Very difficult to regulate heat in radiators and bathroom. Dishwasher wouldn't start, and no instructions to read. Had to go to internet to see video on dishwasher to learn how to reset it so it would start. Saw spiders twice in apartment. Really difficult to find parking space anywhere close to apartment.

Such a lovely flat inside the city walls and near the restaurants and shops. It’s beautifully furnished and I appreciated the floor plan in the listing so I knew how the rooms were laid out. It was like staying in a hotel with complimentary toiletries and a goodie basket and excellent quality bedding. I would have liked more info on how to arrange the parking without having to ask for it (you have to email the car park with your car details), but blue badge holders can park right outside for 3 hours which is helpful as parking is 5 mins walk away and uphill for part of it. The only downside for me was the really bright light outside the front bedroom and that the curtains didn’t block it out. It was as bright in the room at 2am as 10am. It wouldn’t stop me from staying there again but with a light that bright I’d have installed shutters. Overall though I recommend it as somewhere to stay in Caernarfon and if you do, don’t miss the castle. It really is top tier!

Clean, plain property in an excellent location within the old city walls. Positive: Excellent location within the city walls, on the old main street so between the water gate (With views onto the Menai Strait) and land gate of Caernarfon. Nice galley style kitchen and effective central heating. No parking for cars, but just about room to fit two motorcycles opposite the property. Negative: There's no WiFi. The property is clean inside (There is a little staining of the grout in the shower...) but a bit plain. The charm comes from the location, not the property itself.

Dale's place was nice, and at a very convenient location, very close to the Carnarfon castle. The house was clean. It's very close to most of the hiking spots in Snowdonia by car or bus.

Positive: Location was good as it was within the walled town. Negative: Space was small and the only windows looked out on a walled very small poorly maintained patio area. We were on somewhat of a special family holiday and the accommodation did not meet our expectations so we bite the financial bullet and left early and booked elsewhere. For others with different goals it might work well enough.

Great location and clean and comfy place Positive: Great location and attentive hosts. Minutes to come decent restaurant and high street. The castle and boardwalk are also very close by. Parking was also a breeze. Lots to do for little kids as well. Negative: Wi-Fi is not the greatest. Only works in the living room and bedroom at the front.

Nice flat, felt safe, modern. Issue with a lot of beetles (mainly dead) around the patio door in the lounge. 1st night upstairs neighbours very noisy with loud music until late. 2nd night v quiet. Wi-fi didn't work in the back bedroom, but ok in the lounge and front bedroom. Overall it was good base, easy to walk to the amenities, and 15min drive to snowdon which was why we went.

Castle retreat Positive: The accomodation was of excellent quality and cleanliness, right in the heart of town, an ideal base to explore N Wales and the Isle of Anglesey Negative: All good

The property was okay for the price and served as a base for our stay, but it wasn’t as clean or as nice as the photos suggested. There was visible dust and dirt around the house, particularly in corners and down the sides of the beds, and some pillows had red stains on them. The bathroom had noticeable damp, with limited ventilation, and the house felt quite muggy despite a dehumidifier being provided. Overall, the property felt quite basic rather than cosy. It was fine if you’re mainly looking for somewhere to sleep while out exploring, but it wasn’t somewhere we felt particularly comfortable. It also felt as though the property could benefit from more regular checks and better upkeep. It wasn’t the worst place we’ve stayed, and the price was reasonable, but we wouldn’t recommend it if you’re looking for somewhere clean, cosy and welcoming.

Good location and host was responsive. Only issue was the bathroom was mouldy and the drains blocked up so that we could shower for at least 24 hours - the host did fix the problem eventually

We really enjoyed our stay in this apartment. We found the property to be really clean and tidy, with everything we needed for our stay. The beds were very clean and really comfortable giving us all a good night's sleep. The location was excellent, being in the town and within walking distance of restaurants, pubs and cafes.

It’s a decent accommodations for a family with two kids.

Positive: Communication Negative: Lack of washing machine and dryer.

The apartment was lovely - and well kept, apart from the shower which was clean on the surface but the grout was quite mouldy. The location was brilliant, right by the castle and a very short walk to cafes, pubs and restaurants. Parking in the immediate vicinity was challenging, but there’s a space opposite we were able to pull in and unload the cases before finding free street parking just past the Morrisons which was a 5 minute walk. The apartment was incredibly well stocked - it had everything we needed (apart from a corkscrew!) and was comfy enough, but I’d say better suited to a family with younger children than older ones as the seating arrangements did prove a little challenging with our bigger ones by the end of our time there. Past reviews have mentioned the light outside and this hasn’t been rectified, it’s also single glazed and we were woken most mornings by bin lorries. The final thing to add is that it’s very noisy when people are walking around in the upstairs flat.

Handy location, with plenty of space and well equiped kitchen. Positive: Great location within the town walls and very handy for the castle, restaurants and shops. Nice touch for the cake and coffee. Negative: The parking was meant to be free with a pass but it turned out not to be. Discription out of date.

Great accomodation for the 4 of us. Location is perfect with or without a car. Very clean and tidy with everything you need. Would definitely recommend and will consider staying again.

Great location Positive: Excellent location. Everything was on the doorstep. Well stocked Negative: The small bedroom was damp. Linen was also damp. The courtyard was covered in seagull droppings which basically made it out of bounds . No flexibility with check in or out.

Great little apartment for a short weekend stay, any longer would have needed to find a laundrette as there was no washing machine in the premises. The apartment was clean, tidy and well equipped. The only drawback was the outside space which appeared not to have been swept or jet washed for a while as it was covered in pigeon poo and feathers (there was a jet wash machine in a weatherproof box in the yard). The location of the apartment was great but car parking could be an issue.

Logement extrêment bien placé, à 100m du château et encore moins de la mer. Logement fonctionnel, quoiqu'un peu étrangement agencé. Nous avons moins apprécié le fait qu'il ne soit pas très bien ventilé, et l'état très médiocre de la petite cour.

Exceptional Positive: Super clean, new decoration, appliances in good condition, hot water nice and strong, comfort beds.. Negative: A bit close to a bar. With the windows closed, there is nearly not much noise. Anyway, the noise at the weekend stopped around 11ish.

Lovely stay, great apartment, Caernarfon was quiet but fun, surrounding area, beautiful..

Positive: Good location, has everything you need. Only a 30 min drive to snowdon and lots of bars and shops nearby. Overall nice and clean. Negative: The outside area is really dirty looking and the parking is abit annoying but we used a 24 hour car park which is only a short walk away and very decently priced.

Overall excellent. Positive: Breakfast close by.All utensils and cooking facilities in apartment were plentiful and clean .Dishwasher excellent. Well decorated and appointed with high grade fittings.Big smart TV Negative: Nothing it had everything

Good stay for a few nights

Good stay in a nice quiet spot despite the rain we had a nice time. Positive: Lovely and clean inside. Good location for Caernarfon town. Comfortable beds. Not far from bus station to catch the bus to other towns.

The place was clean from inside, however the open area/patio was not clean and couldnt be used. We had issue with the drain and were not able to use the toilet and bath for a day. This was resolved but i had never experienced this ever in any airbnb stay. Had to follow up to get this sorted. Also, for the parking if there was a permit process then this should have been informed earlier, it would have been helpful. The place was clean from inside and location was in center.

Positive: Great hamper! Clean and tidy and modern! Great location. Negative: Courtyard needs cleaning and doesn’t match photos online.

À wonderful and Midern place A new space, had everything we could possibly use, and maybe 100 feet or so from the bay. Also, we could throw a rock to the Caernarfon Castle. We hated to leave. The only problem with the check-in was that the locked key box is shared with the upstairs unit, and the upstairs tenents took our key as well creating a short lived problem because we couldn’t get a timey response helpful response initially from property manager. But it eventually was sorted out in about an hour. Would stay again!

Terrible custumer service. We paid double price for parking! Positive: Gostamos da localização. Negative: We had to pay for parking during our stay at Host and Stay apartment 1 High Street Caernarfon as the staff were unable to resolve the issue. Parking was supposibly included in the rental. We spent a lot of time trying to resolve the issue over the phone and emails. Staff have contacted us back, but always responded to by different people, who apparently didn't talk to each other. Anyway, we spent £74 on parking and apparently we won't be reimbursed. This review is so negative for these two reasons: I paid double to park my car and my fair demands were not met. Terrible customer service! And this is the worst that can happen!

Good apartment in centre of Caernarfon, perfect to explore Snowdonia and nearby

Negative: Only one toilet roll for two nights. Did call them but only received more aftercwe bought some.

Modern compact flat, great location in the centre of Caernarfon, walking distance to everywhere. Perfect for a long weekend. Only problem was that we struggled to dry our wet things after being out in the rain.

Positive: The location is great very close to the castle and it was cozy as well. The best were also very comfortable. The apartment was very clean when got in. Negative: We were left a used toilet role from a previous guest but also the roll had hardly any toilet paper left on it. The first bedroom when you enter is extremely nosy and the lights from the street shines in. Thus we were unable to sleep. Lastly there heating was not working as you couldn’t go any higher than a certain temperature and that weekend we were there it was extremely cold.

Negative: - Could provide shower gel and shampoo amenities

Positive: Really nice modern place with a good size kitchen and living room. Easy getting in. Parking close by . Nice spot in Wales. Negative: Wasn't obvious I would have to pay an extra damage waiver and felt very pestered by this, though messages may have been more spread out if we hadn't booked so late. Once I'd paid though it was chill and the hosts were very helpful. The information is there in small in the extra info section but intially it felt a bit scammy.

Positive: Great location, immaculate apartment

This was a wonderful place to stay. Host & Stay we’re very attentive and texted often to make sure everything was to our satisfaction. We would definitely stay here again.

would just like to say this is pretty much a perfect place very clean and well equipped super comfy beds, great shower its a hot one, location great for evening wanderings and close to some great pubs with good food the use of a parking pass was an absolute bonus also i will most definitely using it again thanks guys
