Wonderful experience in the property, very spacious for 5 adults and 2 dogs. Will definitely stay again. Positive: It was clean and very spacious. Everything was provided. Plenty of parking space. Short walk to the centre and beaches.
It’s a nice house but in need of some tlc. The sofas in the lounge need replacing, the springs have gone and they are very uncomfortable. One of the small tables in the lounge was so unstable it was unusable. The toilet seat in the en-suite did not fit the toilet properly and the door to the bathroom doesn’t shut. The windows in most of the rooms can’t be locked open so either the windows blow closed or you can’t get fresh air blowing through. I emptied the crumb tray on the toaster it was so full it was hard to remove to empty, this is a fire hazard. The white towel in the downstairs toilet was grey and grubby and the room smelt damp and looks dirty. The house is in a good location a short walk into Seahouses and the garden is enclosed and safe for children and dogs. We had a nice stay.
The house was very comfortable and well appointed, with a charming courtyard garden and open views over the fields to the coast at the rear of the property. It comfortably accommodated our group of 5 adults.

We had a lovely stay in this lovely, spacious house. The house was well presented, well equipped, clean and just a short walk from Seahouses amenities. We would definitely recommend this house to others and we will be returning.
The property matched its description though some of the fittings were a little below the standard I would expect. For example the occasional tables in the sitting room were very unstable and the lights on them didn’t work with the lampshades falling off. The kitchen could have been better equipped with a larger fridge to cater for 6 people staying in hot weather. Overall the house was comfortable and met our needs but could benefit from a little updating.
Clean, spacious and well-appointed property in easy walking distance of sea, harbour and bus stops. Recommended.
The house was perfect and in such a great position. A short walk took us to shops, pubs and to the harbour. A great place to base ourselves for exploring the wonderful coastline and area!

Great stay in great accommodation. Host and Stay were really helpful in answering questions before we booked and before we arrived. There were 3 good bedrooms and plenty of room for 6. Everything was clean & fresh. Very well equipped kitchen, two dining tables - one off the kitchen room and one in the lounge. The enclosed rear garden was nice and sunny when the sun was out. The walk into seahouses is a flat 15 minutes walk then a few more minutes to the harbour and a further few minutes to the beach. But the very spacious accommodation made the extra walk compared with being in seahouses worth while. There is a good range of shops and places to eat in walking distance and the coop sold everything we needed. Bamborough and its castle are a short drive away.
STRESSFULL WHILE HEATING WAS NOT WORKING THEN VERY NICE STAY AFTER WE SORTED IT OUT Positive: LOVELY BIG HOUSE CLOSE TO SEAHOUSES AND BEAUTIFUL GARDEN Negative: HAD A PROBLEM WITH THE HEATING SYSTEM GOT IN TOUCH WITH HOST AND STAY WHO SAID THE PROPERTY HAD THERMOSTATS IN EVERY ROOM TURNED THEM UP AND NOTHING. SO HAD TO BRING THE HEATER DOWN FROM BED ROOM. NEXT DAY NO HEATING OR HOT WATER THEN RANG HOST AND STAY AGAIN BUT IN THE MEAN TIME WE FOUND OUT THE THE CONTROL PANELS IN THE LIVING ROOM AND THE BOILER ROOM HAD BEING TURNED OFF PUT THEM ONTO AUTO THEN WENT OUT WHEN WE CAME BACK EVERYTHING WAS WORKING .ALSO DIDNT LIKE THE THE GUIDE BOOK IS SENT TO YOUR PHONE THINK INFORMATION WOULD BE BETTER IN A FOLDER FOR THE HOUSE EG HOW TO WORK THE OVEN NO BOOK ON HOW IT WORKED AND WASN'T USED TO THERE KIND OF ELECTRIC HOB INSTRUCTION BOOKS LEFT OUT WOULD BE A GOOD THING
