Positive: Everything was good & exceptionally clean Negative: Could have done with a few more mugs & plates if there had been four of us but as there were only two of us it was fine

Fabulous lodge. Positive: Beautiful and well equipped lodge. We have stayed on this site a few times and this was the best so far. We love the on site bar and restaurant too. Great base for cyclists and exploring nearby Negative: Nothing

Very modern interior, felt at home, had everything you needed. Really enjoyed our stay

Would visit again but the cleaning before arrival could be better. Positive: The location was great and the amenities were exceptional inside the lodge. Negative: There were small areas they didn’t seem to have been cleaned properly before arrival. There was dust on the back of toilets and the glasses/plates had marks and bits on them. The hot tub also felt slightly scummy inside like it could do with a clean out.

Positive: The location was fabulous with gorgeous views over the lake and it was great for star gazing on a night. The lodge was very clean and comfortable and tastefully decorated. Negative: We liked everything but in this heat a couple of fans would have been appreciated as the lodge was drenched by the sun all day. We appreciate the cabin is self catering but we were caught out by there being no hand soap in either toilet. We didn't realise until we were settled in and didn't want to venture back out to the shops.
