Positive: We stayed over Xmas. The cabin was decorated lovely and a tree was up. The cabin was very clean and had everything we needed. The hot tub was lovely and hot. The restaurant was friendly and the food was great. Would definitely go again. The nearby walks were very good. Negative: Nothing.

Lovely relaxing short break away . Handy for visiting York & we went to Filey beach . Allerthorpe woods excellent fo Positive: Excellent location , spacious , very well equipped . Comfortable beds , nice bathrooms , hot tub very nice . Negative: Nothing that we didn’t like . Only thing when we arrived , cleaners had left the ashtray full outside & took us a while to find the television remote it was tucked under the soda cushions . So cleaners hadn’t cleaned the sofa .

Positive: Lovely location, good facilities and a lovely lodge. Negative: On arrival the property wasn’t clean in the living room, there were crumbs all over the floor and it was like the kitchen/living room area hadn’t been hoovered, the bedrooms however were clean.

Great stay with friends Positive: Hot tub was fantastic, the lodge has everything you need and more! The clubhouse was reasonably priced and had a good range of drinks Location perfect for walks

Great but too risky and constantly made to feel on edge Positive: Lodge and Hotl tub Negative: The constant bombardment that if I broke something I was liable even after sending extra money for insurance after being charged for cost of Holiday yes I saw there was a deposit that I've paid elsewhere and I'd I e been happy with that but you guys made me feel so uneasy even that I questioned if I needed to pay extra to outside friends before visit as I felt pressured I'm a responsible adult I suffer with stress yes you don't know me and I can except that people aren't always responsible but I stopped at the park there 4 years ago had no trouble back then this weekend as it worked with the family celebration in area I picked this site ... I even heard the next lodge saying on arrival to there kids don't do that I can't take that risk ... Com on guys it totally kills the enjoyment I paid a lot for the lodge ... As will others ..nice yes worth a re visit ...No... Hot Tub too ageing for my risk on you charging someone..a little miss sold

Positive: Lodge was spotless staff friendly and helpful could not fault anything

Beautiful facilities and good value for money Positive: Location - beautiful grounds and setting, nice and quiet, good that there are food options on site and adequate parking areas etc, lodge space and facilities were excellent Negative: Host had not noted my request at booking for late check out and it wasn't available when I asked when we were there.

Positive: Second visit to Ailsa Lodge, beautiful and will be returning again. Negative: N/A
