Very nice stay! Easy to find, Great location and great price! Would gladly stay here again

Positive: The property was clean and spacious and in a brilliant location. Negative: There is no parking like the advert suggests so we parked in the pay and display nearby.. the apartment is also not sound proof and we were kept up as the flat below were up late chatting. Fair enough as it was a weekend but if you are staying as a family something to be mindful of.

3 couples enjoyed Whitby Goth weekend the apartment was in a central location 3 good sized double bedrooms with fab view Positive: 3 good sized bedrooms lovely views from the lounge diner kitchen. Negative: 4 flights of stairs.

Beautiful apartment in central Whitby Positive: Tastefully renovated apartment with two floors, great heating system and beautiful views towards the abbey from the living room/kitchen. Very close to some excellent shops and pubs Negative: Not much to grumble about, maybe the parking can be difficult to find a spot at times and there needs to be an oven glove

Great location. Modern property with everything you need

Good stay Positive: Excellent location and brilliant communication from hosts throughout Negative: Entrance hallway not a great first impression with scuffs, marked carpet, dirty blinds and cleaning products/hoover etc left out visible. Lots of scuffs again throughout property, dirty blinds, windows and mould in shower. I think this property is great value for money and the location is excellent. Bed linen spotless and overall comfortable stay and great value for money. Just a finer eye for detail is required.

Hosts were very reactive to messages and helpful. The property was clean and conveniently located to Barnards Castle with a lovely view of the moors. The house however is very close to the dual carriageway and whilst the majority of the house is quiet, traffic can be heard from the side bedroom. There is also a boggy area next to the lawn which wasn’t a problem but would have been helpful to be aware of prior to arrival as we had a dog and a young child with us.

Very clean and great location

Location was perfect being in centre of Whitby. The apartment was just as described, would 100% recommend staying here.

The location of the Airbnb was great, very accessible to Whitby centre and lots of nice restaurants and eateries in walking distance. Very nice apartment and good space, very clean and lovely shower and bathroom. Unfortunately we did face a few issues, we were only left with 1 toilet roll for 6 guests, 2 nights. They left no hand soap, no washing up liquid, no sponge to wash the pots and one of the chairs was faulty and when sat on almost caused a fall, there were screws missing from the chair legs upon inspection. I messaged the host privately during our stay to see if we could get additional toilet rolls, hand soap or washing up liquid and they told us it was our responsibility to supply our own. Little bit disappointing but overall it was good for the price compared to other places in Whitby

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in Admiral’s View. Location was perfect and within walking distance to all of Whitby. The accommodation has everything needed for a successful stay. The only thing we were disappointed with is that we hadn’t booked to stay for longer!! We are excited to return. 😊

Beautiful place! Exactly like the photos! Spacious bedrooms and a kitchen/diner area with fantastic views of Whitby. Check in was super easy and a car park opposite was useful. The only one niggle we had was after reading other reviews, it was clear that previous guests had been given a parking permit for their stay. When the check in/property guide was sent, it didn’t mention this. I queried this and was told there wasn’t any permits. However, when we got into the apartment there was a permit waiting which would have saved us spending £22 on car parking and over an hour driving around Whitby searching for a car park space but never mind. This of course didn’t ruin our stay but just something to note. Would 100% recommend the property and would definitely stay again!

It was a wonderful place to stay with stunning views. The rooms were clean and spacious and it was a quick walk to the shops and restaurants. It would be somewhere we would stay again and would recommend.

We had a lovely stay at Admiral’s View. The apartment was spotlessly clean, really spacious, and beautifully decorated, making it feel very comfortable and welcoming. The location was perfect – everything was within easy walking distance, including the shops, restaurants, and Whitby Abbey. Parking was straightforward too, with permits provided, which made things really easy. We’d definitely recommend Admiral’s View to anyone looking for a great place to stay and wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again.

We really enjoyed our short stay. The flat is amazing — the bedrooms are very spacious, and we loved that the living room is located in the attic: it’s bright, roomy, and the view of the Abbey from the window is spectacular. The location is great too — tucked away from busy streets for peaceful nights, yet just a few minutes’ walk from everything you need. Would definitely recommend staying here.

The property is in an ideal location and right opposite a pay and display car park. The views are gorgeous as you can see the Abbey. Very clean, with a very spacious master bedroom and a large bathroom. Helpful to have a washing machine! TV has access to many streaming sites.

Positive: Great location and large amount of space. Negative: A fan would be helpful in summer given it’s a top floor living space.

Decent apartment for short break few niggles if resolved would make this a really good base in Whitby Positive: Good location great views out top of the apartment. Overall clean, good bathroom and kitchen facilities. Contact regarding check in was good. Negative: Beds were uncomfortable mattress not great quality neither were pillows. Although apartment generally clean, dirty windows and windowsills throughout dusty blinds and visible dirt on skirting in bedrooms. Would not take much to bring up to better standard with decent Hoover and wipe over. Parking situation not great there is a small car park on silver st but could just about get car down to the location and difficulty getting out of car park because of cars just parking randomly. Caused chaos as people were trying to leave and car park exits being blocked. Because location is on a hill luggage would have to be carried from other main car park locations which may cause issues for people.

I wanted a relaxing stay with friends, but instead spent most of the stay on the phone or sending emails just to try and Positive: Location. And once cleaned, it was a great apartment. Negative: The apartment hadn’t been cleaned. Dirty towels on the floor, very dirty bedding on the beds, rubbish piled in the kitchen. Which was unfortunate, and I’m sure it was an accident that it hadn’t been cleaned ahead of our arrival. But what was disappointing was the way in which things were dealt with once we raised our concerns. The property is obviously one of many owned by this company, so the response was dealt with by a call centre rather than someone who could actually respond to our call. Rather than believing me when I said the apartment hadn’t been cleaned, I had to upload photos demonstrating everything I wasn’t happy about before any action could be taken. By which time there was no one available to come and change the beds and supply clean towels that night, so we were offered other accommodation but it took several attempts to send over the details, and since most were on the other side of Whitby or several km outside of the town, we basically had to stay as we were running out of time to meet our dinner reservation. We found enough spare bedding to change the one bed which was in a disgusting state, but had to reuse the bedding on the two other beds, and share a couple of towels between the five of us. The reason for the booking was to give us an early and restful night ahead of running a marathon - spending over an hour on the phone and answering emails was not the stress free evening I had anticipated, nor was sleeping in a dirty bed. The next day I received repeated messages and calls while running the race, which when I checked after were the company trying to contact me to say that we hadn’t left the key in the key box (we had) and that the cleaners couldn’t get in. So more calls and emails to try and sort that out rather than enjoying what was meant to be a fun and challenging day. Also utterly bizarre since when we finally got back to the apartment mid afternoon it had been cleaned and all beds remade!

Positive: Good location. Smooth entry to the apartment. Clean and tidy space and nice comfortable bedrooms. Negative: We would have liked to have more drinking glasses for the 6 people staying at the apartment, and some of the dining chairs were wobbly, they could do with the legs tightening up.

Positive: Nice place, great location, clean and has everything you’d need. Straight forward smart front door lock then key box. Clear instructions. Negative: Plenty of stairs, just a few arch out if you find it a trouble

Positive: The apartment was in a perfect location. The apartment was well presented and had everything we needed for our stay. I would highly recommend this apartment to anyone

lovely flat , and very clean. Positive: self catering. Negative: We didnt realise our entrance was down a passage. we spent quite a lot of time at the front door. the photo that was sent was of the front door and a keysafe. Needs a long mirror in the bedrooms please.

Admiral’s View is a very nice property, excellent location and stunning view. The bed was very comfortable and the kitchen has everything you need to self cater. The shower is lovely hot and powerful. I really wanted to give 5 starts but unfortunately there were a few dust fairies knocking around. Windowsills and skirting boards. The windows were also mucky on the inside, this was a same because the view is stunning. I also had to wash cutlery and pans before I used them. The scatter cushions in the living room are black and they had lots of marks on them they definitely wasn’t fresh. The toilet had what I thought was rust down it when we arrived, I always take bleach with me just in case and to freshen up before we leave. I understand there may be a tight turnover from customers leaving and arriving but overall I would have expected the place to be cleaner.

It was a nice apartment situated close to town and very nicely furnished Positive: Close to town Negative: There were broken glasses and a broken fridge shelf on which was noted so I had to mention it this could have easily been blamed on me. The shower had no enclosure so water just went all over the floor . The bedding was lumpy and dirty upon arrival seemed to have stains on the blankets .

Would use admirals view again though, just that little fact Positive: Everything was spot on really, very nice modern apartment, well situated, very happy overall Negative: I was very careful when getting out of the shower as my mam had nearly fell out shortly before me, however it was very slippy and I still managed to slip and fall really hurting my foot! Maybe an anti slip mat or something should be available, just be very very careful,

Positive: -modern apartment over two floors -great location -clean -comfy beds -hair dryer and straighteners provided Negative: -dressing table in the main bedroom would have been beneficial as limited mirrors in the apartment -1 bathroom was tricky for 6 people

A beautiful property freshly decorated and very clean. Situated right in town with a pay and display car park opposite which is perfect.

Beautiful flat, tucked away just enough to be out the way of the busy streets, but also walking distance to everything Whitby has to offer. Host was responsive to all my messages prior to and during our stay. Had a lovely few days away. Would recommend.
