Positive: Location was very good and good view. Clean linen. Negative: I could laundry for my clothes from previous trip because I brought own detergent. We stayed for 6 nights, so I prefer we had one more set of towel or if they have dryer, I could wash myself as it doesn't dry for 2 days. Inside drawer was dirty. I cleaned them before I used them.
Same as other reviews for this place Wrong parking location still Staid for 6 weeks and was given two days cleaning amenities like toilet roll and dishwasher tablets Kitchen was not clean most the cultlery pans and pots had not been cleaned and bad frying grit and oil left in it! Knives have rust on them and hard to be cleaned Poor cleanliness to the place but bedroom and bedroom are tolerable atleast Will always hear the water as it’s next to the river very loud as there’s a small dam/waterfall

Cricket Trio Positive: The property was in a lovely peaceful area . Close to a river, woodland. Lots of wild life which was very nice & calming listen to. The appartment was very modern & clean . Negative: It would have been better if there was a bath mat on getting out of the shower . Also a tea towel in the kitchen area.
Great little place, felt like a home from home. Positive: Loved having an apartment. We stayed 2 nights so it was nice to have a living area and kitchen. It was clean, modern, in a great location for us and had a lovely view over the river. We would definitely stay again if we didn't need to be ready early. Negative: There should have been a hairdryer in the room but there wasn't. The check in time of 4pm was too late really as we were at a party in the evening and it didn't give us much time to get settled in and get ready. Check out was 10am which felt quite early considering we couldn't check in until 4.
Our stay was very pleasant would definitely recommend this place to other friends and family. Positive: Love the modern finishes in the property and the view of the river at the back. Negative: There was an issue with the Wi-Fi , stopped working and I could not find the designated parking for our unit ( but I didn’t need it because there was ample visitors parking space provided at the property)
Good room in a grubby area. Positive: Beds were very comfy. Living room and kitchenette area was very tidyand clean, comfortable and pleasant. Plentiful free parking included. Nice view of the river from the room. Negative: The water pressure for the shower was very weak. The location is on a small industrial estate and there is refuse waste everywhere in the car park. We stayed three nights and this never appeared to be cleared. Pillows were not the best - very empty.
The apartment was clean and well serviced but the owners need to get on to the property managers to Positive: The location was excellent for what we wanted to do in Taunton Negative: The exterior site was badly maintained. The rubbish stores were overflowing and I had to step over dirty nappies and trash to get to my car.
Disappointed with the cleanliness - very basic to ensure the fridge is clean Positive: The property was in quite an industrial area but was close to town Negative: Cleanliness was a real issue - the fridge was dirty and clearly hadn't been cleaned. Bed side tables were also dirty. The property markets itself as having premium furnishings - this is not the case, very cheap. Also, host said that there was a Nespresso machine but none was in the property.
Good, would recommend Positive: The property is exactly as pictured. Clean and comfortable with almost everything you could desire. I loved it and absolutely would return. Clear updates were provided via email on how check in and out along with a helpful manual placed in the apartment with additional information. Exterior landscaping was a bit run down and as a plant lover this made me sad. I rated 7/10 only because there was a heat wave and not a single fan was provided. I have noted though, that this is a cultural thing in England as most places don’t have air conditioning and heat is tolerated well by most. Negative: No fans provided during summer heat wave
State as comfortable and the apartment was clean however a fan would have been appreciated. Positive: The location and the amenities Negative: It was too hot considering we visited in July. A pedestal fan would have been appreciated. We couldn’t open the windows as they were small bugs coming in the room from the window.
Don't expect it to be cleaned when you arrive. Negative: Property wasn't cleaned when I arrived after a 6 hour journey on public transport. Host and Stay slow to respond, unhelpful and weren't concerned even after myself and Booking.com had spoken to them. I had to find alternative accomodation which was in short supply on a Bank holiday weekend. Apparently the cleaner didn't know I was coming despite having booked it six months before. Two months on and I still haven't had my money back. Looking at other reviews this isn't the first time it's happened. There are clearly some major communication issues between the cleaner, the owner and host and stay.

The property was clean and in a great location but for the price I paid I didn't think I'd be expected to unblock a toilet.
The apartment was generally great and we really enjoyed staying there - good location, parking, very comfortable and cle Positive: Very comfortable and well equipped with plenty of parking which was particularly good. The location was great as was the view of the river from the apartment. Negative: The bathroom would have been better if it had a shelf or small bathroom table to put things on. We had to use the floor for our wash bags and couldn’t put out our daily use things unless we used the floor.
Excellent Positive: Clean, modern, bright and tidy. Recliner settee is so comfortable. 10 mins walk to town. Supermarket about 3 mins walk away. Nice and quiet area
Positive: We loved everything. Easy access to the town and shops. Easy to get in the building and find our keys. Lovely quiet building, didn't hear any of the other occupants in the building. Very relaxing stay. Extremely clean inside the apartment and everything we needed appliance wise to cook our own food. Definitely a place to book again when we are next in the area. Negative: There was nothing we didn't like.
Excellent location. Easy access to town. Lovely view from apartment.. Positive: The Apartment was right on the river, with a river walk into the centre of Taunton. Easy access via river walk to Tesco and Lidl. View of the weir from apartment.. Comfortable bed and recliner sofa. Negative: Only one bath towel provided for 2 of us. Frying pan had seen the end of its days and had not been replaced. Being near the river, we would suggest parking under cover as our car was on the seagull fly past and covered within a couple of hours.

Lovely, comfy, I would stay again. Positive: Location was fab-apartment was comfy and clean Negative: the rubbish bins for the flats were overflowing and had been ransacked by seagulls. it was everywhere. The apartment was freezing cold when I arrived and it took absolutely hours to get this to a reasonable temperature. Took me ages to find a hairdryer as it was in a cupboard in the living room :)

Great little apartment with all facilities & free parking. Positive: Excellent location, close to hospital (which is what I needed) but actually really near town as well. It’s got a lovely view of french weir & the rumble of the weir was like a very soothing white noise! Negative: Mattress on bed could be upgraded or a thick topper added for extra comfort.
Yes, they sent a welcome email and goodbye email. Asked us if we needed assistance to contact them. Orher than that left us ti enjoy our stay.
Had a relaxing stay and was a chance to get away to recharge my batteries. Positive: The flat was well equipped with washing machine and dishwasher and it had quality furnishings throughout. I found the apartment homely in a nice area with ample parking, will be staying again through Host and Stay as the process from start to finish was more than helpful. Negative: The checkout by 10am was a little early and would be good if it was 11am to save rushing around in the morning, also a grab rail/handle would of been handy by the bath.

Poor Negative: The apartment had not been cleaned, the bed was unmade and all the towels were wet. Have complained but after 11 days have received no response.
Clean spacious town centre apartment Positive: Spacious clean modern apartment. Good location 10 minute walk to the cricket ground & centre of town. Tesco 2-3 minute walk. Negative: Electric heaters were apparently set at 21C but didn't feel like it and couldn't be changed, so we had to put on pullovers in the evening. Shower temperature could only be adjusted by the two bath taps which resulted in unstable temperature setting. Work was being done on the foyer lighting system so had to use light on my phone to read and adjust key box setting to access keys.
Clean and quiet but a bit lacking Positive: Clean, spacious and in a quiet location. Negative: Reminded me of student accommodation. Lack of furniture for the size of the living room. The sofa is tiny and cheap looking. Everything just felt too small for the space. The bath is very slippery when standing in the shower - needs a shower mat. The shower isn't powerful enough. Furniture in bedroom is very cheap looking too.
Positive: Very simple check in process with all the information I needed. Easy to park and the accomodation was clean, well kept and spacious. Would definitely stay again if I was in the area. Negative: No complaints.

Would definitely stay here again - everything we needed was available Positive: The apartment is very spacious and within walking distance (10 - 15 mins) of Somerset Cricket Ground, the main reason for our stay. The information from the hosts is clear. Bed was comfortable and plenty of storage space for clothes in the bedroom. Although we didn't use them, having a dishwasher and a washing machine is a bonus. Negative: There wasn't anything we didn't like, although a grab rail on the wall by the bath would have made it easier to get in and out of the bath, especially for someone who is short

Positive: The accommodation is in a very good location. The owner sent the check-in details in detail and easy to understand. The room looks new and very clean. It is a very nice room.
Really good Positive: Comfy bed, well equipped kitchen, very clean, dishwasher tablets provided. Negative: Would have really appreciated a couple of complimentary essentials e.g. restocked salt in shaker, shampoo, hair dryer (often in bottom drawer of a b'n'b). The towels smelt musty. Would be handy to have the parking space more clearly signposted as it is not next to any other spaces and the plaque is partially covered.

This is a comfortable flat to stay in. Parking is not clear at all, which is disappointing that the feedback left by previous customers was not taken on board. Be aware that the spaces have different numbers than the flat. This is not made clear in the guide. There are basic kitchen items, however these need upgrading, for example the kitchen knives were extremely blunt. There were random rose petals (fake ones) just chucked under the bed and a random bedsheet just screwed up in the bottom of the wardrobe. Overall, this is a convenient place to stay, close to the town centre and Tesco and we would definitely stay again if we were in the area, there were just a few small annoyances!
AVOID AVOID AVOID When I first arrived to the location, the car parking space was near impossible to find. I spent 10/15 minutes driving around trying to find it. The next challenge was which door to enter. The location is in what can only be described as office complex, with solicitors and lots other businesses. Needs clearer instructions! Once I found the apartment I opened the front door and I was greeted by a really strong, foul smell and it was freezing cold. When I went in further I saw that all the windows were wide open!! Presumably to try and get rid of the smell but in the middle of winter, that’s not on. I then had issues with the WiFi which resulted in no WiFi connection for the duration of my stay! I then had a further look around and there were nail clippings in the kitchen, countless crumbs everywhere and loads of smears of food (and more crumbs) in the fridge. When I contacted the hosts, they were unwilling to be proactive to rectify the issues. Terrible stay!!

Overall a good stay. Not really anything to moan about but a few things to suggest to improve on/I was a little disappointed about. Everything was clean and well presented. Easy to access the flat. Parking was a struggle, we drove round 3 times looking for parking space 36, wasn’t till we were in the building we realised there was a completely different lay out with numbers and it was actually space 177!Would be great for this to be clearer! There was no soap in the bathroom - the dispenser was empty. We were given half a toilet roll for a 3 night stay which I thought was a bit strange. Would have been nice for the sheets to be ironed - they were really crumpled. Teeny tiny towels. Need some non slip stickers or a bath mat as I slipped getting out. Mop bucket in the corner of the bathroom was odd. We couldn’t get the heating to work and it was FREEZING. Need more instructions on how to work it! A good stay but these things defo could improve someone else’s stay.
Great location, easy walk into the town centre and steps from the supermarket (Tesco). Plenty of parking onsite (designated spot for our unit), and the pleasant sound of the weir in the background. It was a great home base for us.
Very comfortable but a few extras would make it excellent. Positive: The property was conveniently close to Musgrove Hospital. It was very clean and had everything we needed for a short stay. It felt very new. Negative: The property had no signage to say it was Waterside Apartments on arrival, therefore we weren’t sure we were in the right place until we spoke to the security guard in the opposite building. Maybe a few extra dishes and utensils would be an idea as we were unable to prepare anything other than takeaway. Parking also seems to be a free for all.

The place was ok, it was off to a bad start which the place was hard to find. Which I would say it’s more like offices than flats in looks. The place was clean but thought it would be cleaner due to the high cleaning fee and surprised when we got asked to tidy up before we go. Having to pay a minimum £10 before you enter for any damages is slightly ridiculous. Also they can’t accommodate for an hour earlier check in or hour later check out which if you are there 1 night I would say not worth it. I’m used to other bnb’s hosted by owners that welcome you and make you feel comfortable instead of a straight up business.
Apartment was really special. Very close to centre of Taunton. Immaculately clean and well equiped. Positive: Building had signage referring to Tangier Central. Need for something to indicate that it is also referred to as Waterside. Plenty of car parking spaces but space for apartment 36 no longer labelled as such. Outside area at car park untidy unlike the apartment which is immaculate. Negative: Bathroom would benefit from mirror over sink and a grab rail for stepping out of bath which is used as a shower. A plug for the bath would also be helpful. Elsewhere a dustpan and brush would be handy.

Positive: Free parking. Quiet and clean apartment. Comfortable bed. Good automatic night light in the hallway. Negative: No bath plug. Insufficient and poor quality towels. Difficult to find with the instructions provided. No mirror above the bathroom washbasin. Smelly mop in the bathroom.
Lovely and clean, high standard accommodation with everything and more you’d need for a relaxing stay. Very quiet and peaceful, only hearing the water in the river nearby.
