Fabulous accommodation in amazing location overlooking the sea and st Mary’s lighthouse. Even in November the views are amazing from all three levels. The accommodation was very clean and spacious; on the ground floor, the kitchen diner was perfect for our family gathering, with lots of crockery and cutlery. The lounge area on the first floor was comfortable and relaxing. The beds were very comfortable and views amazing. We would highly recommend staying here. We wished we could have stayed longer, the best place we’ve found in an area we’ve stayed many times.

Great location and perfect for a walks to the lighthouse and Tynemouth along the beach and coastal path. Accommodation is as described, perfect for a long weekend away with family and friends.

Family get together Great venue to meet up with family. Excellent location overlooking the beach/sea within easy walking distance of a couple of good restaurants. This was a return visit which we thoroughly enjoyed. Whitley Bay sea front promenade however is undergoing a transformative update causing disruption to traffic in the immediate area including directly outside the property. This did not affect our visit apart from having to navigate the new one way traffic system on our arrival.

Excellent location and we enjoyed our stay Positive: The property was clean, bright and nicely presented throughout. Excellent location Kitchen was fully stocked and even catered for the toddlers. Negative: En-suite top floor to cater for the 3 bedrooms, which meant we had to run down a flight of stairs or disturb the persons sleeping there if we needed the bathroom Wouldn’t stop us booking again

A perfect holiday getaway for the family. Great views from apartment. Close to beach and metro. Clean apartment and as described. Would recommend staying here. A few aspects to look at-the lock on the gate and the external lock part of the front window door need attention as stiff and hard to work.

This is our 4th annual visit to this lovely home and could not have been more happy with everything from check in to check out and everything in between! We come over from the States every year to visit Family, and this is the perfect house for our family of four. House is always so clean, well stocked, beautifully furnished and just feels like home. The location is perfect for walks to The Spanish City, Lighthouse and so many great restaurants and things to do! Already looking forward for our next stay here!

Family gathering Location was spectacular, accommodations the same. Property is very well equipped in comparison to other short term rental options we have used in the past. Our only disappointment was that we didnt book longer.

This house is perfect for a family stay. There is plenty of space for a mixture of ages to spend time together and time apart if needed too. The sea view from the dining area, living room and two double bedrooms is absolutely beautiful and one of the main reasons I booked this house for a longer stay, having stayed for a weekend earlier in the year. The location is great for accessibility to the shops and the beach. The Metro station is only a 5 minute walk up the road too, with links to Newcastle and other areas. But if you’re fit enough, you can easily walk to Cullercoats and Tynemouth which are both worth a visit. The kitchen is well equipped for cooking and dining and there are cleaning implements to keep the house clean during your stay. The hosts are great and always on hand to help if needed. I will definitely stay for a third time soon.

Beautiful beach house We thoroughly enjoyed our recent stay at 3 Queens court in Whitley Bay. Can't beat the location with gorgeous sea views! The property was well appointed with very comfortable beds and couches. Lovely kitchen and large dining table. Option to enjoy a coffee on the front terrace while taking in the sea view or the more private back patio. Perfect for a large family or group of friends. Highly recommend.

This is my family's 2nd time staying at this beautiful home and we will continue to return for our annual trip every time! We are from the US and come to visit family every year and we could not imagine a more perfect space for our family. Everything from the fantastic location to the stunning sea views as well as the space/layout, parking, cleanliness and just ease of access - we could not imagine a better pick for our trip! This house is a must rental if you are every in the Whitley Bay/Tynemouth area!! Cannot wait to return in 2025!

Lovely stay with family and two dogs Positive: Location excellent. Near to beach and Whitley bay. Lots of restaurants nearby. Plenty of space in the house. Clean and comfortable. Cooking facilities / equipment excellent Beds and bedding clean and very comfortable. Negative: As mentioned before in reviews just the one en-suite shower room / toilet on the top floor for three bedrooms was difficult between the group. Also The kitchen /downstairs living room needs a TV / music player. we needed better instructions for the central heating as it was boiling hot all the time and we couldn’t work out how to adjust the temperature. The mop bucket was broken and needed replacing.

We had a fantastic stay with friends. The house was spotless, warm and really comfortable, with everything we needed — from kitchen utensils, glasses, games and essentials. The location couldn’t be better, right opposite the sea, and only a few minutes’ drive into Tynemouth for shops, restaurants and cafés. A perfect base for a relaxed weekend away. Would definitely stay again!

We booked this house for a Christmas get together with my husband’s 2 grown up sons and their girlfriends. So there were 6 adults. The house was spacious and comfortable. We cooked a Christmas dinner in the kitchen and it had everything we needed to achieve this. It was very disappointing that the house didn’t have any Christmas decorations and there was no flexibility with the check out time. I had to message several times to get the answer to this too! I should’ve checked this before we booked as it probably would’ve made me book elsewhere. That all said the house was lovely and perfect for us. Unfortunately we were there during storm Darragh. The house has all these strange vents and there was loud banging all day. You could see the curtains move in the lounge even though the windows were shut. The doors in the kitchen leaked and we had water all over the floor. Obviously it was extreme weather so probably would not happen at any other time but the noise from the vents was awful.

Our Whitley Bay stay was great, it is a brand new and really well kitted out property with fabulous views. It suited us really well as a group of 7 (and dog) and would highly recommend it if you are staying in the area.

We are all used to property not quite looking as good as the photos but this property bucks the trend! A super space with ample everything for the 8 people that it can hold. Great showers - not always a given in holiday accommodation. Fabulous views out to sea and only a few minutes walk to Turknaz (great food and atmosphere), Spanish City and the beach. So pleased we were able to take the dog with us. Would definitely book again if need to stay in the area.

Absolutely amazing accommodation over three floors. Plenty of room for the 7 of us. Immaculately presented with comfortable sofas, chairs and beds. Extra details like pictures, books and indoor plants gave it a homely but contemporary feel. The kitchen was so well stocked with an ample of supply of crockery and cooking utensils. More than you would expect. Bathrooms very clean and good showers with plenty of hot water. Our host Charlie was really helpful before and during our stay with ideas of where to eat and local shopping options. The views over the sea and to St Mary’s lighthouse were beautiful. We’d love to live there! Highly recommend

Lovely spacious house with more than enough room for 8. The house was very clean and the beds comfortable. We had no issue with communication and always received an answer very quickly. The location is very central and the view over the sea just beautiful. The washer and dryer was great to have. We will definitely be coming again.

Absolutely loved our stay! We are a family of five with three kids 14,11 and 5. House is a good size and spotlessly clean and tidy. Plenty space for all of us and never felt on top of each other. Location and view is unreal! So nice to sit with a glass of wine watching the sea! Lots of restaurants and coffee shops nearby which was fantastic. Cannot fault our Host, responsive and friendly. We will definitely return, hopefully this summer as I know the kids will love the beach! Will happily recommend to friends and family. Thanks again for a great stay!

Family get together by the sea Modern spacious with plenty of room for the whole family.Warm, light, airy with magnificent sea views. Well furnished and equipped. Teenagers had their own space, and an en-suite room for the oldies. The two large living areas allowed everyone to do their own thing. Also large enough for us to entertain other family members who joined us for the evening and meal on a couple of occasions. It suited our needs perfectly.We would have liked a better supply of cleaning items, like a sweeping brush, paper towels and washing up brush and cloth , and only 3 dishwasher tablets provided! So we ran out on last day and dishes left unwashed. The only major problem was on our arrival. My husband and I arrived at 4.00 pm as arranged, and the rest of the family were to come later after 6. We were unable to gain access as key box would not unlock. Telephone calls to host failed to resolve problem. No one available to come for several hours. My husband is in mid mid-eighties and frail and easily made anxious and confused , and it looked like a horrendous start to holiday. Problem was resolved by arrival of our son who hurried from work to rescue us, and he managed to force box open and get key and we gained access just as remainder of family arrived at 6.30. It was a bumpy start but it did not in end spoil holiday.

I don’t know where to start with my review of Queen’s Court. I booked it for an early birthday celebration family weekend. The house is stunning, so spacious and nicely decorated. The weather was beautiful so we spent a lot of time in the front yard admiring the sea view, when we weren’t out and about. We didn’t use the living room as we were happy to sit in the dining area on the ground floor. Having 4 bedrooms was great for 3 adult sisters and 2 teenage girls who shared the bunk bedded room. The beds are super comfy and waking up to the sun rising over the sea, from the comfort of my bed, was the highlight of my weekend. It’s about a 5 minute walk to the Metro station with lots of shops close by and of course the beautiful beach across the road. The information given by the hosts was spot on, they were very helpful and informative. Would absolutely love to stay there again in the near future as it’s the best place I’ve stayed at in a very long time.

Not great Positive: Location good nicely done Negative: Left with no heat or hot water for 25 hours then when we got in touch,they wanted to move us to another place. We had an 87 and 81 year old with us . Spoiled our whole experience .

Great place for multi-generational holiday (had to bring own cot & high chair). Loads of space, well equipped kitchen, excellent showers, comfy beds. Fantastic view of sea - beaches just across road. 10 mins from metro so easy to get to Newcastle or down the coast. Kids utensils, books & beach toys. Plenty to do in walking distance. Only negative was a broken cooker hood & very dusty behind furniture & on skirting boards. Not enough to put us off. Would definitely consider going back!

I stayed here with my family for my graduation weekend and it was perfect! It was so nice to be on the coast instead of the city centre and could easily get Ubers and the metro into the centre. It was great we were able to take the dogs just make sure you're aware what specific area they're allowed on for each beach (depending on the time of year)! The views were amazing and the kitchen was really well equipped. Overall we'd highly recommend!!

Gorgeous, beautifully furnished and super clean house that couldn’t be much closer to the sea with stunning views down the promenade to St Mary’s lighthouse. Excellent location for walking to cafes, bars, shops, restaurants, Spanish City and beach. Charlie from Home Stays communication was excellent and very kind when we informed him of an accidental breakage, concerned that our safety was paramount. We found 3 Queens Court a real treat to stay in for a special family celebration and thank you so much for a great stay - we’d love to come back!

Clean, comfortable and stylish with great views. Five stars. Positive: Clean, well appointed and stylish. Negative: Small suggestion, extra handrails in stairs for older folk. Mum struggled a bit.

We are a group of 5 ladies from different parts of the country who meet up 3 times a year and this is now top of our lis Positive: We loved everything. The location was amazing, looking out to sea, restaurants only 5 minute walk, railway station, metro 10 minute walk. The property was very clean with a lovely fragrance throughout with everything you could possibly need for a short stay. Negative: We were only there for two nights so we found the check in at 4pm and check out at 10am meant we only had one full day. We were offered earlier check in but at quite a hefty cost. Not sure why check in needs to be so late when cleaners supposedly go in as soon as you leave.

Really nice house located directly on the waterfront. You can see St Mary's Lighthouse clearly from the property and its very walkable to Spanish City (5 mins), Cullercoats (15 mins) and Tynemouth Beach (20 mins). Close to Metro system which can get you into city centre within 30 mins. Nearest stop is Whitley Bay a 5 min walk. Great communication from the owner, very proactive. We did raise an issue with the TV not getting signal on our first day and it still wasn't resolved by the time we left (1 week later), despite being told that maintenance were going to come out and look at it. That was very disappointing so we had no live TV to watch/available during our stay.

We had a great week in Whitley Bay despite the not so great weather! The house is beautifully furnished & well equipped and the location is great, right on the front where the path leads for miles each way along the coastal walk. We will be booking again for next year 😊

Positive: Excellent sea front property. Great location. Very spacious and clean, with everything we needed. Very good communication with proprietors before and throughout stay. Highly recommend Negative: Nothing, although there was no coffee machine so description needs updating

Positive: Location is amazing and having a parking space is just so convenient It is quite hard to get out of when people park across from the spaces but there's not much you can do about that. Beds are really comfortable with nice white bedding and towels. Negative: Some areas could do with a deep clean. I didn't use the oven or hob but the oven looked quite grubby and the extractor above the hob was very greasy. The sofa covers and cushion covers could benefit from a wash.

Location location location - views:) Positive: Loved the views and the location. Rooms were comfortable and spacious and loved that there was a toilet on each floor. Very clean and loved the decor. We had a great break - my best was the views over the sea at sunset!!!

A relaxing few days giving us time to get together in lovely surroundings with great facilities. Positive: Lovely well furnished property with excellent sea views. Plenty of space for 3 families coming together for a short break. Plenty of crockery, cutlery etc. And a good choice of seating areas. Particularly liked the single seat nooks to watch the tides and chill out in! The property is in a great location for either a short stroll along the promenade or a bigger jaunt to either the lighthouse or Cullercoats/Tynemouth. Negative: The bed in the front dual aspect 3rd floor room is very soft/bouncy and of the type where you just roll into the middle so not the best nights sleep. A non slip mat for the main bath would have been handy for the elder members of our party. The thought of an extra set of stairs to get to the top floor to borrow the en-suite shower was too much for them at 87 years unfortunately. Also just one toilet roll per bathroom was a little tight we thought, meaning we had to purchase more during our stay.

A perfect place to stay with the family. Positive: The location of this property was excellent, far reaching sea views in every direction. You are spoilt for choice of beach walks, restaurants, cafe, cinema, shopping. So many amenities on your doorstep. The property suited a large family group and one well behaved small dog. Several areas for socialising and chilling out. A perfect family holiday stay. Negative: The beds were not comfortable, but they were clean and the pillows were comfy. The electricity cut off a few times. It may be a very sensitive system. The front garden needed a little attention. Perhaps the gardener was due?

I absolutely love this house, we have stayed here before and couldn’t wait to go back. Great location, sea on the door step and it was great that we could take the dogs with us.

Seamless booking, check-in and arrival, although we could have done without the email bombardment trying to pay for more services. Great detail and pack provided. Fantastic location and very comfortable home. However, awoke on morning one to find no hot water and a boiler fault. No instruction booklet so contacted the letting agency. I was asked to complete a task for which I am not qualified and I requested a heating engineer attendance. We advised the operative of the imperative to have this completed quickly to allow us to attend a family funeral but after 90 minutes of no comms or engineer, we were forced to pack and seek showers elsewhere. The hot water issue was fixed on our return c6 hours later but with no comms or updates. Poorly handled. Not ideal on a particularly stressful day.

We had a lovely stay here, and would love to return. It was a perfect location and the house was well equipped for cooking. It was like a home away from home and the beds were very very comfortable. It would have been handy to have more than 1 dishwasher tablet for a 3 night stay, but other than that it was perfect.

This is the second summer in a row that we have booked this beautiful house, we love it here, the house is perfect and has the most amazing views of Whitley bay!

Clean with good location however the beds were so cheap and uncomfortable we had to leave a night early as couldn't sleep. Contacting the company running this place was very difficult. I was offered an early check in and when I phoned to confirm was told I had to ring back 20 hours before to see if it was available. Every agent told me something different. I have two messages, one after the other, saying I could have an early check in then that I couldn't. When finally I was offered one they tried to charge me £65 instead of £30 and, having queried this, they said they'd send me an invoice. This arrived, for the full cost of the holiday ( over £1000!!). I had already paid for the holiday via air b n b. I insisted on paying the £30 early check in charge via air b n b as I didn't feel comfortable otherwise. Again this was not easy. I finally managed to pay the night before our holiday. The company really need to organise themselves better.

Good place

We had a fantastic stay at Dale’s property (3 Queens Court ). The place is so easy to find and has great parking facilities. Once inside the house we were so impressed. Lovely open feel to it and the views of the bay and out to see were incredible. The house was spotlessly clean and extremely comfortable. Can’t recommend Dale as a host and this place to stay enough.

First stay and it was great. Fantastic location, warm, welcoming and clean. We loved the sea being across the road; easy walks for groceries and places to eat and drink and the two parking spaces. Great place.

This is the best place we have stayed by far, the house was well situated and has absolutely stunning views from every floor - the large windows allowed us to enjoy the stunning sun sets over the sea from the kitchen, as well as lovely views of the sea from the living room and front two bedrooms! The house is lovely, clean and modern and the kitchen is well equipped!! The pressure is on to ensure we are able to book this place again next time we visit!!

We had a good stay, the location is great and th3 apartment is spacious. The apartment looks just as the pictures show. We had a few issues and found the host not as responsive as hosts normally are, which is a shame.

Wonderful stay at 3 Queens Court. Positive: The property is excellent. It is pristine throughout with plenty of room for you to relax. The views over the seafront are wonderful and worth the money in itself. I can't recommend this property highly enough. Superb access then to Whitly Bay which had loads of excellent bars, restaurants and coffee houses. Particularly recommend the Al Bear. Negative: Nothing.

we all had a lovely stay over 4 days in Whitley Bay/Cullercoats. Could not fault the accommodation. Spotlessly clean, well presented, literally did not want for anything. Happy to recommend, we already have to friends and relatives. Hopefully we will get the opportunity to stay again when we are visiting the area if it is available.

Great location. Lots of space. A little lacking in personality but still nice. A few too messages from host and stay about checking in and out on time.
