Great place for a family holiday. The cottage was comfortable, and well equipped for self catering. It is close to Ullswater and Keswick. We enjoyed the facilities in the holiday village, including the swimming pool, play area and crazy golf. Would highly recommend as a base for a holiday in the North Lakes.

Lovely accommodation with great facilities Positive: Spacious, comfortable and great facilities. EV charging was available (4 x chargers 37p/kwH) despite the host saying there wasn’t any Negative: Never had to strip all the beds of all the bedding at any B&B before - thought this was part of the cleaning charge??!!

We had a great stay here! The pool and sauna facilities were great, rooms were spacious and area felt very safe. Would definitely stay again!

Great stay, would definitely recommend

Lovely up market holiday park house Positive: Lovely very well equipped house, with excellent kitchen and bathrooms and lovely outlook from the upstairs living room balcony/deck. The pool and spa in the central facility was also excellent and very welcome after a hard day hiking in the hills. Negative: I wasn't impressed by the statutory cleaning fee added on top of the rental price. We left the place spotless and standard cleaning should always be included in the rental price. I also didn't like all the warnings about the cost of breakages and damage etc. Ok to put that in the t's and c's but don't push it onto the guests so overtly.

We had a lovely two night stay at 11 Troutbect Cottage, Whitbarrow Holiday Village. The accomodation was very homely, comfortable and had everything we needed. the facilities wer great too, poll etc, bar/outdoor balcony and restaurant. Friendly staff too.
