A wonderful holiday house in a lovely location, clean and comfortable stay.

Fabulous place

Perfect Positive: The house was beautiful with everything we could have wanted. It was clean, comfortable and welcoming with spectacular views, The house was easily big enough to accommodate all 9 of us with everyone having their own space. The hosts were easily contactable at all times. The walk into town is easy, the walk down the sea front a bit more challenging but definitely worth the effort. We had a wonderful, family, weekend, thank you. Negative: Nothing

Excellent stay lovely house very comfortable and clean. Positive: Location was great, so long as you are fit and able Negative: Parking especially in August is a real problem.

There was 9 of us including 2 grandchildren, and we never felt on top of each other; the view was fantastic and the location was perfect for us; we had a great time and enjoyed every minute !

This is a fantastic location: beautiful views, great edge of super nice town, adjacent to natural walks. Well appointed, very large and comfortable for our family. Everyone had their own space, quiet and comfortable. The kitchen is splendid, with a large table set up and comfortable sofas as well. Large windows open up and let in the beautiful sea breezes. Another living room has a large couch provides a second area to relax in. We had two issues that we went back and forth with the management company. Two of the showers are activated by an unusual side button, and it took us two days to figure this out. The guide refers to this under a section on the bath, but it is about the showers. There is even a picture, but it didn’t register until we asked our UK nephew. The home listed washer and dryer laundry amenities, but these were not present on the property. Communication with the management company was very good, but they really didn’t know the ins and outs to solve the problem.

Unfortunately this stay fell short on cleanliness and communication. On arrival the toilets were dirty and the cleaning equipment left for guests — including the kitchen sponge — was visibly soiled and unusable. I reported both immediately with photos. The property is managed remotely rather than locally, and it took three days to have the sponge replaced and a cleaner sent to deal with the toilets. Messages went unanswered for long stretches in between, which made a simple problem drag on for most of the stay. Check-in instructions were also unclear and arrived late, which added avoidable stress at the start. The issues were eventually addressed, but only after three days of chasing, by which point a significant part of the stay was affected. I would advise future guests not to stay at this property.

I recently stayed with my extended family and we had a fantastic break. The house was beautifully decorated and the facilities were fantastic. The location was great with beautiful sea views. The only negative was the parking but we were able to find spaces on the street or neighbouring streets so this certainly didn’t impact our stay.

Beautiful house with the most incredible views in most bedrooms. The decor in the house was lovely and spotless clean. We had a lovely weekend enjoying the views with some walks on the beach in a peaceful setting. If you’re wanting a quiet and wholesome weekend this place is for you.

Beautiful property fabulously decorated and extremely clean. Perfect location for walking into the centre and down to the beach. Great views. Easy to unload but parking is a bit of a lottery but we found somewhere within a few minutes walk each time. Don’t be put off by the parking the property more than makes up for it.
