Positive: Quality lodge, very well maintained, clean and fresh. The hot tub was excellent, deeply relaxing. It helped that the weather was gorgeous during our stay. There was an issue with the boiler on the first night, to which booking.com and the host responded very quickly. Altogether top notch. Negative: Can't think of anything. Only thing we can come up with is that my wife would have liked a mirror in the main bedroom, rather than go into the kids room to do her makeup.

Absolutely gorgeous Positive: The lodge was absolutely gorgeous really comfortable 😍 My dad is Palliative care and only a couple of months left and the place was wonderful place for him to relax. Negative: Not that I didn't like anything please if you have a little dog like myself the space between lats are wide and your little dog can fit through.

Couple of glitch, will return. Positive: After initial no power in cabin, we managed to use torch to find switch box in a bedroom, first half hour spend in darkness, no help from Host and Stay helpline, just call back to check we had power. Great for a few nights, absolutely no complaints inside the cabin. Outside required clean, appreciate is in a forest however very old dirt and spider webs, side off hot tub had about a foot thick in leaves which did not build up in just a couple of weeks. Unable to use hot tub as no matter what we tried was too cold to use, stayed previously in another cabin and hot tub was fabulous. Negative: Quiet and private, fabulous part of Northumberland to explore.

Very clean cosy log cabin. Host was great at communicating if we had any questions. Will definitely be booking again

Beautiful quiet lodge so private, only thing was a little unpleasant smells sewage smell around the building unpleasant when sitting in hot tub also very strong in main bedroom to!

Lovely but could do with outside maintenance Positive: Lovely lodge, peaceful location, private hotel tub, welcome items were a nice touch. Negative: It's next to a wood and hot tub was overgrown with tree branches, could be cut back as the also make lodge very dark. Inside is immaculate, outside not so welcoming. We pushed branches over fence as best we could and spent only half hour cleaning outside areas and it looked much more welcoming

We were very disappointed with our stay as the property was not as advertised and was poorly maintained. The outdoor area was covered in bird droppings on the decking and furniture, there were overgrown weeds, cobwebs, and visible dust (including previous guests’ names written in the dust on the cooker hood), suggesting it had not been properly cleaned. The lodge was also directly next to a sewage treatment station, which wasn’t disclosed in the listing, and the smell was so strong throughout our 4-day stay that it made sitting outside extremely unpleasant. The hot tub never got above 34°C despite following the instructions. We were only provided with one toilet roll for four days, and the listing also stated there was no TV or towels, but both were provided, making the description inaccurate. While the beds were comfortable, the overall experience was well below expectations.

Had a great relaxing time after get bak from months a sea work Positive: Privacy off hot tub, people should be aware that’s a big Deal when it comes to renting so that was a big plus, down out way where it’s nice and quiet witch is a big thing me& wife look for as where none alcoholic drinkers so that’s another big positive and the property it’s self was gorgeous, wasn’t sure if wifi was an option or if the cabin had wifi, I just assumed there was no wifi but I was probably wrong ha! Negative: The decore was right up are street

Fantastic lodge on a brilliant park. Beds were comfortable, place was warm and cosy, hot tub was warm throughout our stay, shower offered good pressure. Everything was functional. We quite liked the cow theme too and appreciated the prosecco, chocolates and crisps.However, the Lodge is covered in cobwebs on the outside and dusty on every wall inside. We did need to buy teabags, coffee and sugar because those basics were not left. (But Prosecco was!) The baking trays are filthy too. And the smell of sewage from the processing facility was strong when we stayed. I'll return to the park but probably not this lodge.

Very Poor Positive: There’s a Zoo next door which smells better than the lodge. Negative: Arrived and place was dirty had to hoover up dog hair, dust, cobwebs everywhere and fridge was on its way out due to not staying cold for our daughter medication, engineer came out and just said it’s old and needs replaced. The location of the lodge is where the flue pipe for the septic tank so expect to get whiffs of sewage while sitting outside during your stay.

Beautiful cabin lovely and clean, amazing hot tub.

Great place for a well needed break was perfect.
