Beautiful place. All you need for a great beach vacation. Definitely wanna a stay there again.

We had a great time in Port A. The condo was very cute and even had soft toilet paper. The cohosts were very friendly and responsive to our requests. The little pool with the grill made the place perfect for us hanging out and having nice conversations as we grilled. We had such an amazing time! I would recommend.

When we arrived we had an issue with the door code not working but was quickly fixed by calling the number listed. Pool area was great and private. Had some issues inside the house. Disposal wasn’t working, dead fly stuck to interior glass of front door and killed a roach in the primary bathroom. Long female looking clumps of hair visible on floor of primary bedroom, on the toilet, and on the sheets/comforter of the primary bedroom and bunk bed bedroom. Reached out to the host, who was quick to respond and assist with getting a cleaning crew over in the morning but at this point we had cleaned most of it up. Pool, location, and house were good overall but cleaning crew needs to do better. Due to the issues, I don’t think it was worth the price.

Nicole and the Sand Key Rentals team were fantastic! Their 24/7 support was incredibly responsive and quickly resolved every issue we encountered—from the wrong door code upon arrival, to replacing a missing remote, and even addressing a dirty pool. Everything was handled promptly and professionally, which was especially appreciated by my mother-in-law (TV remote) haha. Excellent customer service and communication. We’d definitely stay with them again!

We had the most wonderful birthday celebration at this vacation rental, and it truly exceeded every expectation! From the moment we arrived, it felt like a perfect home away from home—warm, beautifully decorated, and incredibly well-maintained. The house is spotlessly clean, with thoughtful touches everywhere: fresh linens, plush towels, a fully equipped kitchen stocked with essentials (great coffee maker and sharp knives!), and comfortable beds that guaranteed excellent sleep after long days exploring.

Perfect place to stay for our long weekend.

We love Port Aransas and loved it here! The pool area is perfect. We drive our gear to the beach, but it is an easy walk from this unit which just adds to its appeal.

The house was in a great location being right across the street from a beach access and also not far from the center of town and restaurants. The house was good size for our family and the downstairs pool and hangout area was a lot of fun. Overall, the house was clean and met all of our expectations!

Overall we were satisfied with our rental. It's been years since we've been to Port Aransas so we weren't as familiar with the area. After driving around we saw other properties that would have better met our needs. (The photos on the site is what sold us.) The unit was much smaller than expected. We were concerned with having enough bedrooms and the pool was an added bonus. I didn't really pay enough attention to the size of the living room space and kitchen. With 6 adults and 3 small children, the living area was way too small. For what we paid, I expected more space. Also it really wasn't within walking distance with children. We rented a golf cart and, in my opinion, that is a must! The water pressure throughout was very low and difficult to wash dishes, shower properly, and use the bathroom sinks.

Wonderful beach house for a family of 5. Close to all of Port A’s attractions but quiet and secluded. The private pool was great for cooling off after coming back from town or beach trips.

Property is exactly like in the photos, very private street only 10 homes. Pool looks small but once your there, it's perfect. Home literally has everything to start your stay. DON'T forget to get a beach pass for your vehicle we got a ticket, this is our 10th visit to PORT A and this was a first for us. Will definitely keep this home in mind for future family vacay! FYI-pool does get cleaned!!!!

The place was amazing….we had three kids who had lots of fun…the property was clean and walking distance from the beach….definitely recommended…

The home is exactly as described with the starter amenities listed. It worked well for our needs this vacation. I would warn those who may be flying in to look for accommodations with more amenities such as beach towels and basic seasonings.

I cannot say enough about what a perfect place this is if you are visiting Port Aransas. It is beautiful. It provides absolutely everything you need, but even more than that what you dream of. The private pool and outdoor furniture is the most relaxing little oasis in the morning or evening after a day at the beach or shopping. Each bedroom feels like no one is compromising quality or comfort. A family has all the amenities to spend quality time together while also having options to get some alone time if wanted. The upstairs balcony and chairs were so comfortable for talking and reflecting on the day while looking at the stars above. If you can’t tell, our family stay was an absolute dream and yours can be too if you stay here!

We enjoyed our short trip to Port A! The host was responsive, friendly and very accommodating for our requests. The pool area was very comfortable, private and cozy. We would definitely book again!

Plan to come back and enjoy the pool during the summer time next year. Only downside is limited sun on the private pool, but likely no problem during the summer. Comfortable stay, large beds - sleep with a sound machine to avoid hearing others in the area in early morning or night

The only major thing I can say is the pool was not heated even when requesting it be heated prior to stay. It’s October and it needs to be heated to enjoy it. Other than that it was a cute house and clean. Was a little shocked at the instructions on leaving that we needed to take the trash out and clear the refrigerator. If we needed to do all that before leaving I advise a later check out.

Very convenient to everything in town very quiet neighborhood close to the beach. Definitely be staying there again.

We loved our stay!! Very good location, close to the beach, you can even go walking if you want! We drove just because a lot stuffs to take with two kids. The house was very clean and smelling good. Neighborhood was quiet and lots to do with just 5 min drive. We can’t wait to be back again! Highly recommended!

Cute little cozy beach cottage. Having a private pool was really nice! Covered parking was a plus. The kitchen had everything we needed. When reaching out to Sand Key, they were quick to respond.

The house was perfect for my family! It was me my wife and my two little daughters! Nice having the pool for them when they was tired of the beach and the girls absolutely loved the bunk beds. Everything about the stay was absolutely perfect! Highly recommend this house to any family wanting something private and perfect for your family.

Easy place to stay, right across from the Sandcastle beach access point. The pool was lovely and a big hit with the kiddos. House was everything we needed for our beach weekend! Host was quick and responsive to all questions/needs.

Great location. Easy walk to the beach. The pool was also great to have. Overall, if you’re looking for a good place to stay close to the beach, this place will meet your standards. A few things that did not hit the mark for us were: an additional fee of $55, that comes after you book the place. No pool towels and extremely limited amenities inside the house. Saw a few cockroaches in the kitchen and bathroom.

We had an amazing getaway while staying here and the location was super convenient to the beach (they’re not kidding about it being a 5 min walk!) Restaurants were all super close and the pool was a nice place to cool off after the beach. 😊

Very lovely beach house, as soon as I drove up. Rooms were perfect, lots of windows for lighting. Very cozy environment and I had Excellent hosts. Clean up was very easy and reasonable. Only thing I would have to say was missing for a girl would be a full size mirror for outfit checks. Haha love loved my stay. Thank you so much

The Home had everything we needed, plenty of room and very cozy. The Unit is within walking distance to the beach, not far from shops, and in a quiet area. The units are a little close and the pool is smaller than I thought but overall it was a great place to stay.

Our family absolutely loved this house! It was so beautiful and comfortable, it had everything we needed and it was very clean. The pool was amazing, it was very clean and it had the perfect size for our small family, it is shaded most of the day and the water was very refreshing for this heat. The area by the pool (though it could use a bit more cleaning) was really nice too, comfy furniture and very convenient to have a bathroom by the pool, a small wet bar and outdoor shower. It took us around 10 mins to get to the beach (walking at the pace of a 7-year-old) but it was an easy walk. We'll definitely come back to this house, it has everything you need to have a great vacation.

Family Fun! We love Port A and Highway 9 is great for families and so close to the beach! I have two teenage girls and they loved the pool and being able to take the cart back and forth to the beach! We have stayed at this location for several years now and it never disappoints! The owners are super responsive and happy to help with any issues. We will be staying here again...probably next year at the same time :)

Property matched the pictures and description, and was clean and ready when we arrived. It is located across the street from a beach access road. It took our family about 10 min to walk to the beach, but that's with a 5 and 7 year old, and a cart full of supplies. it's located a very short drive from most of the stores and town. Best part of the entire property is the pool. It's not very large, and a little less than 4ft at the deepest, but it was perfect for my smaller kids, as they could just stand above the waterline. Hosts were friendly, and checked in regularly. Would recommend.

Clean cute home Cute, clean house close to beach. There is no beach view or any view period. We had a great time! Parking was a little tight, but we were able to make it work. Definitely bring your own spices. Perfect house for a small family.

Wonderful spot for our family vacation! VERY clean and well taken care of. The outdoor area was clean as well, the pool in great condition. Perfect location in Port A, Walking distance to the beach, close to shops and food! The Rental Company very easy to communicate with and easy access to the rental. We hope to be back again! There was no detergent for dishes or laundry...not even hand soap in kitchen. We had loud and offensive music throughout the stay with loud cussing. we couldn't enjoy with the young kids. also, the host is slow to respond. the cleaning fee is atrocious, not worth the money imo

Weekend trip with friends Place was great we went here before. My friend's wedding to have a little guys trip. Just the guy's perfect place. Perfect environment only thing is I wish we could get the pool a bit warmer. The house next door to us. Seemed like the water was hotter than ours so we couldn't really use ours. Other than that no issues

Perfect little paradise Loved the condo and the little pool was perfect for the kids after the beach to chill in all night, while shaded to keep them out of the sun. It was so close to the beach and all the restaurants and shops we just used a golf cart to get around. We will definitely be staying here again.

Amazing Loved our stay will book again

Perfect House For Our Group Of 7 We visit Port A every summer and typically rent a house. We had 3 adults, 2 teenagers, and 2 kids. We did 5 days/4 nights on this trip. This house was perfect. The AC was great, kitchen fully stocked, beds comfortable, and showers were wonderful. And the little pool and downstairs patio area were great, perfect way to decompress after a long day at the beach. The outdoor shower came in handy. We have a large SUV and Tundra and while a bit tight, the parking situation was totally manageable. The Wi-Fi was solid which was important since I did a little work while on this trip. We highly recommend this house as it has everything you need, is clean and modern, and is in the perfect location off Eleventh St near Ave G and the beach. Only small recommendation is it would be nice if there was a full length mirror in the house. We have all girls and it would have come in handy when getting ready for the evening activities.

Great location! The location was perfect! Less than a 10 minute walk to the beach and super close to all the fun stuff the island has to offer. The house was pretty clean. Small, but had everything you need. Kitchen is well stocked with basics but take seasonings. My biggest issue, and it wasn't so big of an issue that I wouldn't go back just think others would like to know, was the proximity to the other houses and the parking situation. There were 10 units that were very packed together. The family next to us stayed up late one night in their pool, which was right below one of the bedrooms of our place, making it difficult to sleep. Some earplugs or headphones are necessary if you're a light sleeper. Also, the tight fit made parking difficult. Our unit was supposed to have 3 parking spots- 2 regular cars, 1 golf cart. We had an SUV and a truck, which we had to park one behind the other, meaning 1 hung out a bit. The units across were so close it was difficult to back out, especially if that unit had a car hanging out a bit. If we'd had 2 longer vehicles, we wouldn't have fit and would have to go to over flow parking about 50 feet away near the dumpster. Since many people have large trucks, keep this in mind. All in all, it was a good condo with an amazing location!

Great Location We enjoyed this house. The pool was small (as pictures show), but the kids still had plenty of fun in it after being on the beach all day. The location was great, right in between downtown Port A and our favorite beach access point. We’d book it again.

Great Place! Very clean property! Walk to the closest beach access was .33 miles, according to my watch when I walked it, and took around 6 minutes at a normal pace. I’m stating this because I didn’t find a review with this detail and close proximity was important to me. The check in and out process was very simple. The small pool and patio area was perfect for just two of us. Sand was in small piles in the pool but that’s to be expected with the winds and the location. Still clean aside from that. The property is off of 11th so it’s easy access to anything you could need, but it’s tucked away so the entrance is still private and quiet which was a really nice surprise! Think “cul de sac”. As mentioned in the description, the basics are provided but you definitely need to bring your own pool/beach towels, foods, condiments, sunscreen, etc. The house itself is very cute and cozy- smaller than expected based on photos (the angles or zoom just made it look a little more spacious) but still an adorable place. Mattress was a little hard, but not to the point of no rest. Take extra bedding if you need extra padding. Overall, we loved our stay and would recommend Hwy9 to anyone!

Anniversary trip Address in VRBO was incorrect unless you clicked on specific driving instructions. Had trouble locating the unit, called the VRBO hotline and they didn’t call back till the next morning. Was told there was a propane grill but there was a charcoal grill. House was nice and clean and had everything that we needed. Pool was great!

Great stay Everything was amazing only complaint was base boards were pretty dirty needed to be wiped down extra blanket had hair in it. It was Ana amazing stay we will be back.
