Highland Haus: stunning ski getaway with hot tub — Guest Reviews

Our family enjoyed a wonderful stay - the house was clean, very well-appointed, and the location is great with Bromley only ~5 minutes away. Our kids also loved their stay in the bunk room! The only note I'd make is that the main living room was a bit small / tighter than we'd expected - though there are plenty of hangout spaces in the upstairs and basement as well.

The house was clean and beautiful and so close to Bromley mountain, our family had a wonderful ski vacation here.

We had a great stay at this house. It was very conveniently located near Bromley, where we skied. It was extremely cold outside but the house was toasty warm inside. It looked like this pictures and was what we were expecting. We would stay here again.

Very nice and modern. Extremely convenient to Bromley Mountain. Great communication from the property managers Driveway is a bit steep and can get snowy/icy in the winter but should be fine if you’ve got snow tires/AWD. Property has the driveway plowed as well. Would recommend

Red Cottage hosted us super last minute, as our original airbnb fell through as we pulled into town. quick response, fair price, house was dope. couldn’t have asked for a better weekend:)

Excellent home in a great location. Close to Manchester. Close to Bromley and Stratton. So much to do near this location. The home seems very new and the hot tub and fire pits are icing on the cake. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this place and would return in a heartbeat.

My family of 6 had a great time! The house and amenities were exactly as pictured and described in the listing. The hot tub, darts and large basement TV were some of the great highlights. We enjoyed the summer activities at nearby Bromley, UTVs at Stratton and shopping in Manchester when not at the HITS in Dorset horse showing (about 15ish mins away). The only *slight* criticisms we had for our stay was that the mattresses were very hard, there wasn’t much water pressure in the kitchen sink and the communications with the listing/owner was mostly AI/auto-sent messages (we had inquired about an early check in time several days in advance and didn’t receive an answer from a real person until the same day as our arrival, however they let us check out a few hours later which was very kind). We had a great time at this beautiful home and would certainly return!!!!

From the moment we arrived, Highland Haus felt like a true home away from home. The space was immaculate, beautifully appointed, and had everything we needed for a relaxing family stay. The outdoor area was a highlight , we spent time playing catch in the yard, and unwinding on the deck watching the clouds roll over the mountains. Pure magic. Our little one loved every second of it. Communication with the host was seamless, responsive, warm, and accommodating from booking through checkout. We left already talking about when we'd be back. If you're on the fence, just book it. Highest possible recommendation!

We had a great stay. Was just a few minutes to Bromley Mountain and was a great way to end the season this year. Was clean and well maintained.

The house was clean and tidy when we arrived, all of the amenities were perfect. We loved our stay there and it truly looked beautiful when it snowed. Everything was easy to figure out how to use and the manual was very helpful. The mattresses were a little tough but the sheets and pillows were very soft. The view was fantastic!
