Minor maintenance issues but promptly responded to my inquiries for timeline for follow up. Would come back again!

But other than that, it was perfect.

Positives: • Lots of space, our group of 14 could spread out. • Large Bedrooms & En-Suite Bath • Ample parking • Pool nearby all enjoyed • Nicely furnished Negatives • Live Scorpions was an alarming Issue especially when two were present inside the cabin. •. Severe shortage of kitchen Linens •. Neglected outdoor porch area Cobwebby porch and chairs •. Low quality bathroom Products. Cabin has great potential but management urgently needs to address pest control (scorpions) And upgrade bath amenities and ensure outdoor porches receive regular cleaning. Until those issues are resolved, future guests should pack bug spray and extra kitchen towels. Spacious and beautiful property but major pest and supply issues need fixing.

Extra linens, kitchen towels were sparse but provided quickly when we asked. The lower level was perfect for the teens and they enjoyed the games and pool table provided. There is a swimming pool that is available but not within walking distance which wasn’t very convenient. Overall very nice place and I would stay again.

The cabin itself was fantastic, but not fully handicapped accessible.

There was plenty of room for our whole extended family, the kitchen was stocked with lots of useful items, we appreciated the bathroom & bedroom set ups, the kids loved the game room, and the best part of all was the cabin was situated in the beautiful mountain setting of the Smoky’s.

Only issue we had was that a bathroom downstairs had some mildew and what appeared to be snails in the shower that had an odor. Being in the mountains and outdoors, I understand this can happen, however, not something we expected with the price we paid. Aside from that, Our stay was picture perfect and our host responded to us immediately whenever we had a need. Our experience was excellent and would definitely recommend!!

We hope to have the opportunity to be your home away from home in the Smoky Mountains! This was a wonderful lodge for our large family of 14. Great location with easy access to the National Park and all the surrounding activities. It is 30 minutes away from the nearest grocery store so provision carefully. We were a bit disappointed to not find any coffee filters there to accompany the coffee pots, and only 2 dishwasher soap pods, which of course we used often for our large group - but these were small things in light of all the great aspects. Our advice to future renters is to provision carefully and enjoy the stay.

The kids loved all the video games, roasting smores on the fire pit, and we all enjoyed the hot tub. The cabin is not a long drive from the "strip" and the area is private. There were some minor things that required us notifying of needing repair or service, such as broken toilet roll holders, broken pool stick, needing more toilet paper and garbage bags. However, management was very responsive and accommodating. The pictures led us to believe the fishing pond was larger than it was and is really a small catch-and-release pond down the road a bit. I believe there is also another slightly larger catch-and-release fishing pond in the area that is a short drive away. Lastly, the barbecue grills are similar to the open grills you find in a public park (i.e. good for hot dogs and burgers), I believe it would be an asset to have a larger barbecue grill (kettle, smoker, etc.) that allows for slow cooking for larger crowds.

Very responsive and responsible host. We will definitely be back.

We all appreciated that each bedroom had it's own full bathroom and there were 2 additional half baths as well. The game room was a hit for all ages. We made use of the charcoal grill and outdoor picnic area and also discovered that instacart delivers. While the home is secluded and quiet, it is only about a 20 min ride from Pigeon Forge where there is every attraction available. The pool and fishing areas are available for use but you need to drive to both.

The home exceeded all expectations — check-in was easy, parking was perfect for our group, and every family had their own bedroom and bathroom, which was a huge bonus. The lodge itself is beautiful, with gorgeous woodwork throughout and a layout that felt both private and safe. The kids loved the nearby community pool (bonus: snacks and ice cream available!), and the house was fully stocked — we never felt like anything was missing. The location couldn’t be better — just a few quick turns from the Smoky Mountains. Highly recommend — this was such a special place and a perfect stay for a big group. Thank you!

Lots of room! Hot tub was fine. Check in and check out was easy. Beautiful cabin!

There was also plenty to do with a pool table and video games. We did not take the time to try the hot tub or pool. The porches were relaxing with plenty of seating. The cabin was clean and had everything we needed. A great location that seemed off the beaten path, but still had easy access to Wears Valley shopping and restaurants. There was one issue with some water on the floor downstairs that seemed to be coming from a locked utility closet the evening before we checked out. We informed Edencrest. They did not respond until the next day after our checkout. But this issue did not significantly impact anything. Would highly recommend this cabin.

Hickory Hollow Lodge was a beautiful, serene space that made this family vacation special and welcoming to our whole family. Bedrooms with plenty of space, central gathering areas, fun rec room space with games and billiards, a lovely firepit, and just a warm welcoming place made everything fantastic. Eden’s Crest made everything easy, they responded quickly and proactively. The place was clean and well decorated without clutter. Some of the doors wouldn’t lock shut, but that wasn’t a problem since each family had its own bathroom plus extras in the central areas. The country driveway to get to the house raised a few eyebrows at first, but it was not difficult to find or navigate to. Could use a second fridge maybe, but the kitchen was large enough for our needs and well stocked. The fishing pond and picnic area were a short drive away, and while a backyard would be nice, it was a beautiful forested and private view. Thank you!

We didn't have any cleanliness issues. The two doors missing on the bedrooms was unfortunate because it restricted privacy for the folks staying in those rooms, but it's our understanding that issue will be fixed (fire marshal wanted the windows to be addressed). Other than the missing bedroom doors, everything was really great!

We had one minor maintenance issue and they were very responsive and quick to resolve it. We would definitely stay here again.

The cabin is exactly as the pictures posted. Nice, big space for a big family to enjoy time together and also have their own private space. We had no issues and our trip was wonderful.
