Great location, Great host, 15 minute drive to trails and restaurants. You’ll wake up seeing beautiful scenery and deer on the property.

The home is picturesque inside and out with big windows that showcase the surrounding nature. Callicoon and Narrowsburg and close by with some great restaurants. The hot tub was a good place to be on a cold night, we would be happy to return again to this hilltop getaway.

Exquisite, beautiful property and house. The grounds are incredible, the area is gorgeous, rural, and quiet. Many details have been carefully and skillfully considered for the interior and exterior. We really enjoyed our stay, which included making breakfasts in the high-end gourmet kitchen, relaxing by the pond, taking sunset walks to visit the nearby cows every night, and stargazing. It's important to note that getting in or on the pond is forbidden – which is a bummer – and Red Cottage manages communications, which I found a little less prompt, personal, and informed than dealing directly with owners as is customary on AirBnb.

The barn was stunning. Such a lovely autumn weekend in such a special space. The most cozy airbnb I've stayed in :) Loved the long dining room table, hammock, fireplace, projector tv, and hot tub. Lots to do in the area - we did a float trip down the Delaware river and an awesome dinner in town at the Black Walnut. Highly recommend and hosts were responsive.

The property was even more beautiful in person then they are in the pictures. My significant other and I spent our Valentine’s Day weekend at this amazing place and as soon as we arrived we felt disconnected from the world. The surroundings were amazing and the home was extremely comforting. It certainly gives a unique feel that you won’t get anywhere else. The host was also always very responsive to any questions we might have had and was always communicating when needed. We would recommend this home to anybody and look forward to coming back again in the future.

It starts with the drive there. It is exceptionally stunning. When you pull up to the house it’s even better than you pictured it. Check-in was a breeze. When you enter the home you immediately feel welcome! You walk up the spiral staircase to the main area and you are greeted with a burst of sunlight and warmth, with the most impressive fiddle-leaf fig I have ever seen as the centerpiece of the whole place and views that take your breath away. It’s both rustic and luxurious. You instantly feel a sense of calm and relaxation! I have stayed in many Airbnb’s all over the world and this was easily the most majestic place I’ve ever stayed. A true escape. Easy, fast communication with Red Cottage. Comfortable beds. Super clean. They have truly thought of everything here. We will absolutely be back. Thank you for the memories!

Let me start off by saying that I’ve had only positive experiences on this platform, and I have been booking vacations on Airbnb for over 10 years. In the middle of the night my girlfriend woke me up because she heard footsteps. We then both heard footsteps and someone opening and closing doors downstairs in the house. We were absolutely terrified and lay helplessly frozen in bed on the top floor. This went on for about 30-45 minutes at around 2AM. We waited until the sun came up, quickly cleaned what we could and ran out of that house like bats out of hell. My girlfriend had a panic attack and had to be medicated afterwards. When I received a call from the management company, Sophie laughed at me when I said that someone was walking through the house at night. I politely asked for a refund or even partial refund and was declined. I lost the entire weekend trip and all of the money I paid. I’ve never written a negative review in my life prior to this. People must know.

Our stay was incredible! Every detail of the interior design was beautiful and thoughtful. We enjoyed exploring the local town which was very fun and cute. The beds were comfy, the common space was spacious and cozy. The loved the wood burning stove and it worked perfectly for our needs! The heated floors were amazing. The beautiful stove and oven were pretty hard to use and had some malfunctions but the team was very responsive and helpful. We had a tough time in the hot tub which needed some attention but they did come clean and shock it upon request. I hope to come back!

Beautifully serene, impeccably clean, and stylish propriety - inside and out. The hosts communicated quickly and thoroughly, no issues during the stay, surpassed expectations. Would definitely return in any season!

Spectacular experience. Looks even better than the photos. Cozy and feels like you’re in the middle of nature but a super short drive from towns & activities. The kitchen is the most well equipped of any Airbnb I’ve ever stayed in. We would love to return to this respite as soon as possible. 10/10! 💫

The house is very beautiful and cozy. The only thing is that the light in kitchen was off the whole time and we had to cook in dark during dinner lol.

Gorgeous, beautifully decorated and comfortable home. Wonderful open kitchen, working wood stove, peaceful surroundings - absolutely perfect for a country weekend getaway. Host was consistently responsive, friendly, helpful and made everything super easy. We’ll definitely be back!

Stunning interior, gorgeous view. 10 minute drive to great restaurants and lots of things to do in the vicinity. But you might just want to stay in and soak up the vibes the whole time.
