Loved our stay in Pawling and at this beautiful home. Such a great find that was kid friendly with lots of toys, books, and even a high chair! We will definitely be back!

Our stay at the Red Cottage in Pawling was delightful! It was the perfect size for us to spend time together with our son and his girlfriend, lots of room to spread out, and yet intimate and cozy at the same time. We were struck by the incredibly creative renovation of this mid-century home. Everywhere we looked there was another interesting and colorful space, each room so unique, using really cool stuff in a fun and whimsical way, while remaining clean, organized and efficient at the same time. The kitchen was incredibly well-stocked for cooking, the beds were very comfortable, there were great nooks and crannies for enjoying our sunny morning coffee, evening wine, and family movie time. The neighborhood is very quiet and peaceful, and the road is perfect for hilly walks. It's a quick drive to downtown or to the supermarket, very convenient, yet feels secluded at the same time. The grounds are lovely, a great place to enjoy in warmer weather. A perfect stay, we will return!

Red Cottage is one of the most beautifully designed places I have ever had the pleasure of staying at. The home was spacious, comfortable and we had a great stay. We had a bit of an issue getting in and no internet connection but luckily there was an alternative way in that we were informed in advance about. The location was great; close to the nearby town and was quiet and peaceful, exactly what we were in need of. There was a bit of a miscommunication with a check out but aside from that we had a wonderful stay. Would love to come back again.

Really great country house. The owner obviously made very specific choices for decor. We loved it, but I would say it's on the more adventuresome side for sure. The outside is lovely! Pool is fantastic, super clean. A lot of space and they have a tennis court. The area is really nice. Close to the city, but you really feel away from everything. The house was very clean and they had everything you need like shampoo, body wash, towels, etc. Kitchen also well stocked. We had a small issue outside and the management company was fast to act on it and they made it right with us when they couldn't fix something during our stay. Would definitely rent this place again.

Wonderful part of NY that is very easy to reach from Brooklyn. The property itself is beautiful inside and out and the design is and detail make it a special destination. Would definitely go back and recommend to others.

Absolutely loved the house and its quirky decor. Was sad the pool was still closed for the season but understandable since it’s still early in the season. Had an issue with one of the toilets which was addressed but never fixed. Other than that would highly recommend the house and would definitely back.
