We loved this property. We had the best time.

Gulf Winds West was an excellent choice for our 1st blended family vacation. We had more than enough space, the house was clean and furnishings were just as pictured. It's across the street from the beach and situated in between the 12th and 13th street public beach access, I think the 12th street access is a little closer, but it's a decent walk, about .3 miles. But we made use of our beach wagons. It was nice to be able to bring our small dogs and not have to board them. The dog gate was a helpful inclusion to keep pups from going upstairs to the bedrooms. We loved the pool area, a must in the summertime but it's definitely not cool when the days are as warm as they have been... more like bath water, but we enjoyed it in the evenings especially with the breeze. The coffee table in the living room is coming apart on the bottom and the chair in the corner of the living room leans back hard, you can see from the wall beside it that it's taken a few hits. Never could get string lights under the house and around pool to work, but it didn't matter. All in all we had no complaints and would definitely stay here again.

Rental was in a great location with a short walk to the beachice cream, and restaurants. My kids loved the amenities and didn’t want to leave. The home was the perfect size for us and had plenty of room to spread out. We stayed for a soccer tournament at Foley Sports Complex and it was a moth ride without traffic there and back.

This house was in such a great location and had everything you needed for a beach get away. Could not recommend enough!

Great location to the beach. Enough room for everyone in our party. Only a few issues... one being that we did not get to use the pool because it does not have a chiller. The pool water was very hot. Two being that the room with the bunk beds was very hot at night. When you put 5 high school age and older people in one room together that is a lot of people. The ceiling fan did not work very well. I think if it would have worked properly they would have been fine.

We really enjoyed our stay, house was clean and a great location, close to town but away from a lot of the crowd! Pool was nice to have since we couldn’t take dogs on beach, would recommend! My only recommendation would be for property owners to have more amenities available, like more trash bags, keurig machine, and better shower head!

We had a great time here, the management team was available right away to answer our questions. We’re a family of 6 and had my parents with us as well and there was plenty of space. Walking distance to the beach and a bonus was the private pool. Unit was a bit dusty but overall a great place.

We came for our yearly extended family vacation. The location was perfect and the neighborhood was quiet. The pool was a plus. Would definitely stay here again.

This was the most easiest check in/out that I’ve ever encountered. The house was clean and had enough room to accommodate my growing family. There were some signs of wear and tear but after having a storm blow in I can understand how it occurs. The pool was wonderful to lay out by even though the water was still to cold to swim in. My family enjoyed sitting on the balcony and deck and just catching up with each other.

the house was clean and very comfortable. the sounds of the ocean and the sunsets were so wonderful...we really enjoyed walking on the walkways in the state park.

Our family thoroughly enjoyed ourselves here! This was a great place for our family to reconnect after a busy time or year for us! This was more than a rental but a home. Conveniently located close to the main part of Gulf Shores. We look forward to coming back soon.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Cechells. Very clean and well appointed and very homey. Comfortable beds. Close to beach. The pool, while not heated, was a nice amenity. We look forward to staying again when it’s a little warmer. Proximity to restaurants and shopping is great. There were a few minor things that could use attention on the interior and some screws on the wood stairs and deck are protruding, but all in all a wonderful place to stay. Also, the picture on the listing with that great view of the gulf needs to be updated due to a huge home under construction in the once empty lot. There is still a view of the gulf, but it’s limited now. Way more positives than negatives. We would recommend the property. We’ll be back!

The Duplex was very nice. There was nothing that the home did not have for your convenience. The private pool was wonderful!

The home is clean and has a good location. The beach is easily accessible and when you need to wind down at night the pool is perfect. The home is also the perfect location from all shopping and attractions. Not too far away but just far enough to have your space. It was everything we needed for a great family vacation.

This is a very nice area to stay in. We really enjoyed the Cechell. It had plenty of room for our family and dogs. Could use a some updating but really enjoyed our week. Easy access to the beach. Very nice neighbors.
