This home was even more beautiful in person! We had such a lovely stay, it was 3 couples, 2 kids and 2 dogs and the home was so spacious! We spent so much time in the kitchen, cooking and enjoying the beautiful view. The house was so nicely decorated and comfortable! We really want to come back in the summer to spend more time outside, bbq-ing and what not. Definitely recommend.
We absolutely loved our stay in this home! Uniquely historic but thoughtfully updated and beautifully decorated, this house is a gem — the pictures really don’t capture how lovely this home is! It is also well stocked for a weekend away and very comfortable (my 6 year old said his bed was the “best bed I’ve ever slept in”, for whatever that’s worth). The backyard is fantastic — we really enjoyed the screened in porch with water views, the outdoor lighting, BBQ, and the fire pit. It was a very relaxing spot, with only the bullfrogs making noise at night. This house is a great home base from which to explore the area — we walked with our two young kids to Main St in Narrowsburg, also enjoyed hiking and other day trips to nearby towns. (I’ll also note that the house worked well for our kids — we appreciated the pack n play and kid-friendly plates/cups, and our kids loved the bonus room space). Overall this was an ideal AirBnb for a weekend trip and we absolutely hope to stay here again.
We had a wonderful stay. Lovely to be able to walk into town, but also the feeling of space with the garden and view out on to the water. The house is spacious, nicely designed and thoughtfully furnished; the large bath is perfect for two toddlers who have been playing outside all day ;) We will definitely be back
We will definitely be back! Gorgeous house in an amazing location walkable to an adorable town. We love this area but will now only return to this lovely home. It is so wonderful to be able to walk to a charming town with so many new additions in terms of breweries, restaurants and bars. The beds are ridiculously comfortable and the backyard is so picturesque and relaxing. I highly recommend and cannot wait to book the next trip here.
Positives: The house and yard are beautiful - the bathtub is as awesome as it looks and the gigantic rain shower is dreamy! Wonderfully decorated, cozy and homey. If you’re a foodie and want to cook in their kitchen, I’d recommend bringing your own cookware - pans were prone to everything sticking to them. Negatives: There’s construction on the lake so unfortunately it was drained when we were there and the noise of them rebuilding the bridge over the lake is pretty loud, even at night when the pump is running - so utilizing the outdoor parts of the property wasn’t quite enjoyable/relaxing. Overall: During a non-construction time, this place would be tranquil and totally worth the price but in September of 2023 we didn’t get the respite we were advertised.
We have booked Airbnbs a few times yearly for the last decade or more. This was hands down the BEST Airbnb experience. The home in person looks much better than the photos—and the images are fantastic. The house was clean and uncluttered, making it feel airy and delightful. The beds and furniture are extremely comfortable. The backyard was peaceful and perfect for grilling or kicking back with a book. We also had a fantastic view of the pond out back. Perhaps the best part is this home's convenient location. We could easily walk to Main Street to enjoy the local restaurants and shops. Last but hardly least. Red Cottage was also incredibly thoughtful, checking in a few times to ensure all was okay. We plan to book again!
This place is absolutely amazing. It exceeded our expectations on all accounts we came with friends and our children and it was absolutely magical I will totally stay here again if the owners will have us!
Booked this last minute for a quiet NYE celebration with friends and it was the perfect setting. The house is immaculately designed and every detail was incredibly thoughtful. The home is very close to the Main Street and was an easy walk to go explore and go window shopping. We loved all the nook and cranny spaces to have conversations and also spacious enough to play games. Would definitely stay again and recommend it anyone looking for a zen moment.
The house was fantastic. They kindly decorated for Christmas prior to our arrival, making the stay feel like home for the holidays. The garden is fenced which made the dog very happy to play in the snow. The decor, cleanliness, and amenities were perfect for us!
Words do not do justice as to what a beautiful space it is! Everything was perfect. My partner and I are already daydreaming about returning and spending another dreamy getaway in Narrowsburg!
We love staying here! The house is so comfortable: from the easy to use fireplace to the luxurious soaking tub. Even the beds and linens are so comfortable. The setting is serene with beautiful views overlooking a quaint pond. You can walk to coffee, shops, and restaurants in 5 minutes. We loved the fenced in backyard for the dog. Will stay again!
This house is awesome. The bathroom in the picture is more amazing than the picture ( I don’t normally comment on bathrooms) The house is updated beautifully. Location is perfect for folks who want to stay in the town of Narrowsburg. Everything in town is in walking distance. The backyard is beautiful with great laid out areas for bonfires. The only thing is there are many steps without railings, particularly when going down the lower level of the backyard, may not be an issue for many people but unfortunately is was for this older gal.
The Red Cottage was a perfect stay for us. It was directly across the street from my son’s wedding party. The house is beautiful and cozy. We felt very comfortable there. Our host was very responsive and informative. The location is very convenient. Close to Main St. and close to other adjoining towns. This is such a lovely home right in the heart of Narrowsburg—walkable to the Main Street with restaurants, coffee and cute stores. Beautiful yard and back porch and very peaceful and comfortable home.
The home is cared for meticulously and the hosts are very responsive. My daughter, who has much more Airbnb experience that me, said she thought it was the best home and location she had experienced yet.

We had such a great stay at what we affectionately called our "lake house". The house was such a beautiful combination of original charm and modern sophistication. It was a wonderful home base for a weekend exploring Narrowsburg and the surrounding area. We loved being able to walk right into town for a morning coffee or dinner reservation. We visited in winter, but I imagine the backyard makes people's visit even more enjoyable with the many spaces to relax, eat, or sit around a fire. We might just have to come back to see for ourselves!

This was our second stay here! We loved it in winter and this time, summer. We love the walkability to town, less than 5 minutes. The home is beautiful, clean and spacious, with a great backyard with firepit. Will definitely be back again!
A lovely well-kept home in a quiet community. Close to a small downtown area with restaurants and shops. Backyard is peaceful with a nice view of a lake. A lot to do in the surrounding area as well. The hosts have done a great job with the place, would stay here again for sure!
This was our second time staying at the house, and we loved it. The home is charming and very comfortable. It is also within walking distance of the Darbytown Launch (for swimming), several restaurants, coffee shops, shops, and galleries. We truly looked forward to our second visit, which did not disappoint. We plan on booking another stay next year.

Loved our stay at the Red Cottage! A beautiful home, spacious, immaculate—and so many spaces to relax and lounge in. It’s in the perfect location, totally walkable to town - maybe a 5-min walk to the center of Main Street. We eat out a lot so can’t speak to the kitchen wares but it seemed pretty well equipped. We would definitely rent this house again next time we’re in Narrowsburg. One of the nicest homes we’ve stayed in!

We had the BEST stay at Grove House! The house and yard are beautiful and the location is perfect. So nice to be able to walk to the best of Narrowsburg. The house was well appointed and the decor is lovely. Communication was great and our trip was perfect. Can't wait to return!
Wow! This house is even bigger and more beautiful in person- the photos really don't do it justice! The outdoor space is also lovely, with several levels overlooking the water. We had a great time and would definitely return.
We had the most wonderful time. It rained for a portion of our trip, but the house was so charming and cozy. We were delighted to stay indoors. It's a truly beautiful home.

Absolutely LOVED IT! Such a cool house. Loved the decor and furniture! Style everywhere I looked! Light fixtures, dishes, thoughtful design everywhere you look! So well stocked, it feels like home and so easy to settle in! Love the charm of this historic home. The yard is so nice and flows so well! Just wanted to spend more time there! The location is so perfect, love that you can walk to town or down to the river. Will definitely be back and honestly cannot wait!!!!
