We had such a relaxing stay! The house is beautiful, with gorgeous mountain views, huge windows, and so many thoughtful touches. I loved the outdoor spaces, especially the fireplaces, hot tub, sauna, and huge decks. The outdoor dining table is amazing to eat at in the fall weather.
There’s really everything you could want to enjoy some downtime, including so many games, different spaces to relax and full fitness area. One of the best parts is the fully fenced yard, so my dachshund could run around while we relaxed without worrying.
The house was comfortable, well equipped, and in a great location near Blue Ridge. We had a private chef come in and the kitchen provided all the items and space he needed for a great meal.
Communication with the hosts was excellent. You can tell they really care about their guests having a great experience. The check out is so worry free! I would absolutely stay here again and highly recommend this beautiful house.
We absolutely loved our stay at this cabin. We came to celebrate my son’s 16th birthday, and it ended up being such a memorable experience for our entire family. The cabin was beautiful, peaceful, comfortable, and the perfect place to spend quality time together and enjoy the mountains.
Everything about the stay made the trip feel special, and we created memories here that we’ll always remember. Great home and great hosts!
We had a great stay at Glass Cabin Retreat. Everything was even better in person. Spent most of our stay at the property- only venturing into town for a few meals. Loved the peaceful surroundings- watched numerous deer each day on their morning commute through the property and really enjoyed the wellness aspects of the property. Able to get in a few workouts, followed by relaxing sauna and hot tub. We spent most mornings and nights on the upstairs deck with a book. Everything we needed and wanted in a property. Hosts were responsive and checked in with us often to make sure all was well. Will plan on a return trip.

We absolutely loved our stay here! The house is gorgeous and worked so well for our kid and dog. Evenings relaxing by the fireplace on the terrace were pure bliss, and the outdoor gym was such a great bonus. The views are just stunning, honestly worth waking up before sunrise for.

We spent a week at this lovely mountain home and had a wonderful time connecting through all the activities as a family. We enjoyed lots of mini golf, corn hole, and ping pong competitions together. The outside gym equipment and hot tub were also thoroughly enjoyed. We cooked most of our meals at home and had all the cookware needed to make that happen. The third bedroom and the game room are on the basement level and are only accessible from outside the house. Our teenagers stayed in that room and enjoyed sleeping in with the extra privacy. The home was decorated beautifully and we are grateful we were able to make such wonderful family memories there!
It is a beautiful drive up to the mountain. We saw many deer on our way up to and leaving the cabin. Which added greatly to the ambiance. To say it felt like home is an understatement. From the moment we walked inside we knew it was the perfect spot. The cabin is surrounded by beautiful mature trees that give a ton of privacy. You feel like you are deep in the forest while still maintaining excellent views from the expansive upper deck. The fenced in back yard was perfect for a dog and kids. All of the amenities from the kitchen to the game room were top notch. The main level bedrooms give amazing views and natural light that are both peaceful and pleasant. I won’t be able to accurately describe how awesome the master bathroom shower is. It is a must see in person. My wife and I will definitely be booking this cabin again.
Our kids loved their first trip to the mountains and this house was perfect for our family.
We really enjoyed our stay here! Our kids and dogs loved it! It’s very scenic and there are a lot of games and amenities and the view is great! Things that we enjoyed doing in the area included, rafting, hiking, horseback, riding, and tubing and zip lining. all of these activities can be done within roughly a half an hour drive from the house.
We had an absolute wonderful time during our stay. The house was very clean and equipped with everything we needed during our stay. We really took advantage of the back yard. There are not many places where you can work on your short game and then go play a round in the game room. My entire family, including our dog, had a blast!
Great decor, super clean, amenities are a 10, kitchen has everything you need to prepare meals, utensils and pots & pans are all new and in perfect condition, comfortable beds, plenty of linens and towels etc.
There is even a bit of a mountain view in the summer!

We had an absolutely wonderful stay! The property is beautifully situated in a peaceful natural setting with stunning mountain views and plenty of shade from the surrounding trees. One of our favorite parts was enjoying meals outdoors while overlooking the view—it felt incredibly relaxing and picturesque.
The atmosphere was quiet, clean, and perfect for unwinding. Whether enjoying the scenery, spending time outside, or simply taking in the tranquil surroundings, everything exceeded our expectations. The host clearly takes great care of the property, and it made for a memorable getaway.
We would happily stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a relaxing retreat surrounded by nature.

A few things to keep in mind: if you’re afraid of heights, this may not be the best fit since it’s very high up in the mountains. We did have some trouble with the driveway and our car got stuck a couple times, but I did let the hosts know and they said they plan to fix it. If you’re not experienced driving in the mountains, just be aware there are a lot of curves and steep turns, so a suitable vehicle is important.
In the master bedroom, there isn’t a closet, and the cooling is limited since there’s only one vent, so it did get warm at times. That said, we visited during a hot season, someone coming in the fall or cooler months likely wouldn’t have that issue.
Overall, the stay was a 10/10 in terms of amenities coffee maker, washer, dryer, stove, everything worked perfectly! We also revisited Grace’s Steakhouse for the second time and it did not disappoint—absolutely delicious! The hosts were very responsive and again property was😍

This place is very peaceful and private, with incredible views and amenities within the property alone. We loved it as a couples get away with our fur babies, but it would also be perfect for a family or group trip! The fenced in back yard and front porch was super convenient for us and the pups. As a family that grew up with a house in Blue Ridge, this property was very comfortable, unique and nicely renovated, with a ton of things to do within the property. The back yard was very cool, as well as the upstairs patio and below deck fun features. It’s a bit of a windy road up the house, but that is completely normal for our mountain trips, and we did not have any trouble getting there. It is pretty close to downtown, and some delicious restaurants. We were also able to DoorDash our first night which was very convenient as well. I would definitely recommend the Twisted Tomato and Southern Charm for food options. We would love to come here again & would recommend to others!
