My family and I loved our stay! The house is beautifully kept and the privacy of the property is lovely. Red Cottage was very responsive and helpful as well! The house had everything we needed and couldn’t have had a smoother stay. Highly recommend staying here.
House is fully stocked for even the pickiest of cooks! There is so much space for kids to play . House is simple modern and very clean , we ignored the 4wd and brought our front wheel SUV with bald tires lol , barely made it up , I wouldn't ignore that again . All in all ,our party of eight all had smiles and no complaints!
Great place to book for a trip with family and friends. Had a fantastic Labor Day weekend trip.

Loved our stay here- Our family stayed for kids’ spring break weekend getaway, and we had so much fun. Also, the communication was seamless! The host was responsive and considerate, ensuring our stay was comfortable from start to finish.
I recently stayed at this Airbnb property and had a mixed experience. On the downside, I found the floors to be quite dirty upon arrival, which was a bit off-putting. Additionally, there was cat hair on the bedding, which wasn't ideal, and some sheets were missing. There was less than a full roll of paper towels provided, which was inconvenient. On a more positive note, the location of the property was excellent, and the layout was truly awesome. It's a great choice for families with kids, as there was plenty of space to move around and play. However, I have to mention that the beds were not very comfortable, which affected the overall quality of our sleep during the stay. If the cleanliness and bedding issues are addressed, this Airbnb could be a fantastic choice for families looking for a convenient and spacious place to stay.
Our stay at the Red Cottage was great! Fit our entire family and handful of kids. They loved the huge yard and all the games in the basement. The house was beautiful and well kept. We didn't use the fire pit because the chairs were really dirty but it looked like it would have been nice. Overall, fit 8 adults and kids easily. Great price for the space. Be sure to take a moment to star gaze if you book! :)
Our stay at the Red Cottage was good. It is conveniently located close to Roscoe downtown, and the Russell brook waterfall hike. The hosts are very responsive. The beds were comfortable and this was a good place for a family get together. The game room has a pool table which made it fun as well. We had a great time BBQing with family as well and ample seating on the deck with a generous sun umbrella helped. The view is beautiful and it’s higher than the main road so fairly quiet. The place can do with a little bit of diligence when cleaning up (for example the bathroom floor was very gritty when we arrived; the kitchen drawers might a bit of TLC too.) But the hosts were very responsive and received the feedback positively and noted that they would follow up with the cleaning crew. The property is well maintained on the whole and the stay was very comfortable. I definitely recommend this house if you are looking to stay in Roscoe.
Our stay the home was perfect! It provided enough space for our family inside and out! The location was secluded but very close to local hot spots. The house was updated and well kept. We will definitely be visiting again.
We loved our stay at this place. We had a weekend with friends and this spot was exactly what we hoped for. Lots of spots to gather and play games together and a great kitchen to prepare group meals. The bedrooms were really spacious. We enjoyed a beer at the Roscoe brewery and went to Buck Brook farm to see alpacas and visit the farm store. Overall, I recommend this spot as a place to stay.
Our yearly friends fall getaway was perfect here. It was large enough for our group of 6 and 2 kids. Super peaceful and close to many other towns to explore.
We had a truly wonderful stay! We spent most of our time indoors cooking, and the kitchen was absolutely perfect—well-equipped, spacious, and a joy to use. It made celebrating Thanksgiving especially memorable. The whole place was warm, comfortable, and exactly what we needed for a relaxing holiday getaway. We’d happily stay here again!
Great home in a perfect location! This was our second time staying at this house and it really is the perfect home base for our annual fishing trip. I hope to be staying there each year for many years to come!
Ladies week. The house has a great layout. The supplies in the kitchen are fabulous. We have two suggestions for the owner: 1. Let people know the Keurig you have only takes one specific pod. Few people would have these. It’s disappointing to not have your coffee when away. 2. In the master shower, a non slip mat in the tub would be great. It is very slippery in there. Everything was fantastic and we enjoyed our time at your place.

This house was a great find! Not only was the host very responsive, they were ahead of the game by making sure I knew all the ins and outs before checking in. My only suggestion would be to add (unless it’s there and I missed it) would be to add that road leading up is a little bit of “off roading” for when the weather isn’t as nice. It should also be listed that the one bedroom does not have an AC unit in the window. Otherwise, the house was clean, a lot of activities, and easy to get to. My favorite part, lots of yard for my dog to run and explore!! I felt like we found a great place for a great place and definitely looking forward to renting it again on our annual trip to the area.

Great place, very spacious, lots of games in the house and the ground floor game area allows you to separate the noisy competitors from the others that would prefer relaxing upstairs by the fire and on the deck. Secluded from neighbors and the main road, extremely quiet neighborhood, very little noise from the road. Huge front yard with fire pit and chairs surrounded by tons of greenery. I will definitely be back soon
The setting was beautiful and peaceful. The host was very responsive when we had questions about turning on the air conditioner.
