At Wailea Elua 1904, the ocean takes center stage. Wide living room windows and a covered lanai look across palm-lined lawns to the ocean.

Mornings start with coffee on the ocean-facing lanai followed by snorkeling out front while the ocean is still glassy. Afternoons drift between the pool, a set of pickleball, and a lounger in the shade. Dinner is on the lanai as the sky goes gold over the Pacific. In winter, humpbacks breach in the water out front.

Front row, top floor 1904 sits on the top floor of a front-row building at Wailea Elua. Open the sliders and the view runs lanai, lawn, sand, ocean. No rooftops, no parking lot, no second row. The Wailea Beach Path runs along the edge of the lawn, so a sunrise walk down the coast starts at your door.

The Ocean View Lanai:
The covered lanai runs the full ocean side of the condo, with a dining table for six and two loungers in the shade. Breakfast happens out here with the surf close enough to hear. By late afternoon the sun is dropping into the water and dinner tends to move outside without anyone deciding it should. A second lanai on the garden side stays shaded all afternoon when you want somewhere quiet to read.

Inside:
Vaulted ceilings, travertine floors, and glass on two walls of the living room. The ocean stays in view from the sofa, the dining table, and the kitchen, so you're never in a room without it. Central air keeps every room cool, and the bedrooms have ceiling fans if you'd rather sleep with the sliders open and the surf on.

The kitchen:
Fully equipped for real cooking: granite counters, stainless appliances, a French-door fridge, and a proper knife set. The breakfast bar faces straight out to the water, so even the person on dish duty gets the view. Pick up fish at the market in Kīhei, grill it on the lanai, eat it while the sky changes.

Primary suite:
A king bed under a vaulted ceiling, with a slider straight onto the ocean lanai. You wake up, pull the curtain, and the first thing you see is blue water. The bath has a double vanity and a walk-in travertine shower with a rain head — the kind you stand under a little longer after a day in the salt.

Second bedroom :
Two twins that convert to a king on request, a view of the water, and its own slider to the lanai. The second full bath has a glass-enclosed shower. Works equally well for two friends, a couple, or kids who want their own door to the lanai.

Beach Days:
Beach chairs, beach towels, and a cooler are waiting in the condo. Pack the cooler, walk across the lawn, you're on the sand. Ulua Beach has reef off its rocky point for snorkeling — turtles are common, and the water is calmest in the morning before the breeze comes up.

The Resort:
Wailea Elua is a gated oceanfront community: multiple pools, a hot tub, a fitness room, tennis and pickleball courts, and barbecue areas. Everything is a few minutes' walk from the front door.

Getting Settled:
Keyless smart-lock entry, fast Wi-Fi, an in-unit washer and dryer, and free parking on site. Our Luxe Maui Properties team lives on island and is available around the clock if you need anything.

The Area:
The Shops at Wailea and its restaurants are a short walk along the beach path. Mākena's beaches are a few minutes south by car; Kīhei's markets and casual spots are about fifteen minutes north. A car is recommended for the rest of the island.
