Tina Marie was a pleasure to host! The place needed to be thoroughly cleaned, dead flies everywhere, There was no beach, just the small public beach that was packed w/campers and the public. If you’re expecting white soft sand at that beach you’ll be disappointed. People were fishing where we tried to swim, and a 5 ft Bull shark was caught later that day. The dock for you to swim from was blocked w/people fishing so you couldn’t access the ocean half the time. Very inconsiderate. The lack of beach was disappointing .The condo itself was nice, needs a new rug and a good cleaning. The elevator noise was annoying to hear at night. I tried to reach out to the host about the fishing situation but didn’t get a response. Checking in was easy, but it seems like a waist of a day checking in at 4 PM. So my 7 days was really 5 days. Check in should be at 10 am so you don’t lose a whole day and check out should be at 4 not the other way around. You’re only getting 5 days technically. The view was nice .

Thank you for choosing us for your recent stay! Every review and every star you give us makes a huge difference to our success. If you enjoyed your stay, we'd love your 5-star review! We hope to host you again in the future! We had a great week in Siesta Key. Having made a last minute travel decision, we felt lucky to find the Fisherman’s Cove beachfront apartment during spring break. The apartment is gorgeous, exactly as shown in pictures, very modern, clean, functional kitchen with everything needed, we loved the decor, and the glass enclosed balcony. The location is perfect for a secluded stay, far from nightclubs and live music restaurants but close enough in a 7-min drive. There is a washer and dryer in the building, easy to use and pay for through an app. There are many activities to do nearby, including canoeing or kayaking, riding a bike, visiting Sarasota’s art museum, and authentic restaurants in downtown. The host (in particular Britney) was very responsive and pro-active. We would be happy to rebook this place in our next stay.

This property is all about the location. Right on the beach and close to everything you need. So overall a great place to stay. Condo was updated. Bed was comfortable. The negatives could be easy fixes. To mention a few: There were no spare linens or blankets for the king bed. No potholders. Only 4 small ice cube trays and cracked. Beach chairs were ok but more like heavy fold out patio chairs that did not recline. This seemed to be the only unit that did not have a storm door so no view of waterway in the rear and having to leave the door shut made the condo very dark. Overall just seemed a little bit of attention to detail would go a long way. Also we booked late so new we were paying top dollar for a 1 bedroom so maybe why we were a bit surprised that some things were lacking.
