Mother-daughter trip for a pair from DC and another from Birmingham, AL. Experienced some bad weather, but the charm and comfort of the house kept spirits up. The kitchen is very well equipped, which is nice because dining out involves fairly long drives. We preferred eating in anyway. The beach access is convenient, and we loved being able to see between the houses across the street to the ocean from the front porch. We took long walks and were fascinated by the turtle nests and volunteers tending them. The walk up on the Bon Secours point nearby was magical at sunset. Construction next door was a little disturbing but overall tolerable. We had a wonderful time.

This house was AMAZING!! Stocked with anything someone could possibly need to have a successful trip with a family of all ages!! So many details that one wouldn’t have thought! Blackout curtains in the bunk room- all the kitchen appliances you could need! There was not a negative to this house!

My wife and I stayed at Fins and Flamingos for a full month and had a great time. House was clean fully stocked and good location to pet friendly beach. Found a great welcome box upon arrival that was very helpful. We will consider returning in the fall for another stay.

Our last minute getaway was just perfect. The house had a good view, nice beds and everything you could need. I have rented many places over the years and have never been so impressed with the abundance of amenities, organization and details given to the kitchen, bath and general needs. It truly was the best rental experience I have had!

Plan on visiting again soon. We enjoyed our stay. Getting in and out of the driveway during the day could get a bit tricky, but only at times. They are building a new home across the road. Workers and suppliers was there alot. We were in the area last month for a week and had driven buy several times and knew what to expect. Thanks for a great week!

This was our vacation spot for years under previous owners so we decided to go back and check it out this year!! We took our grandkids for the first time and had a blast! They loved it and just like always we did too!

We loved staying at Fins and Flaingos! The home had everything you need! No need to bring your own “good cookware” they have you covered. The kitchen was completely stocked with everything ( except food). It is a very comfortable place and pet friendly. We had a wonderful unobstructed view of the gulf when we arrived, however soon after our arrival, construction started on a new house which now blocks the gulf view.

Wonderful relaxing stay. Allison who helped with accommodations was wonderful and made sure our every need was met. The set up was perfect for our group, Very clean, organized and beautiful view of the ocean. Would book again!

We had everything we needed to have a wonderful vacation. We woke up in the morning with our hot coffee and listened to the waves while watching the sunrise. We had everything we needed at the house including games that led to fun family nights. Thank you! We will be back!

I can't say enough about this property! Everything was fantastic.. The location, the view, the amenities. Loved that the kitchen was stocked with a coffee pot, air fryer, plenty of dishes, etc. Would highly recommend and can't wait to return!

Great location, away from the beaten path. Quiet area with quick beach access without the large crowds. We will be back.

What a wonderful beach house. Exceeded our expectations. Wonderfully stocked, well kept, comfortable beds and linens. The ocean view is beautiful even on rainy days!

This was my first time to leave the cold winter (and sometimes snowy) days of middle Tennessee and head south to Fort Walton. I spent months trying to find the perfect spot for a two month stay. I was fortunate enough to find Fins & Flamingos. This home has spectacular views of the Gulf and parts of Mobile Bay. The location is perfect. Fins and Flamingos is directly across the street from the beach. Great restaurants (we really liked Sassy Bass) are less than 10 min away. The actual Fort is 2 miles away and a must see. This home exceeded my expectations. It was just the right size. The kitchen had great appliances including an Air Fryer, Instant Pot (I used that a lot) and a crock pot. Plus all the normal dishes and glasses were well stocked. A bonus we didn't expect was Mardi Gras. A parade on the Sunday before Ash Wednesday came right down our street in front of Fins and Flamingos. Needless to say, we got LOTS of beads and moon pies. I could go on and on about Coastal View Vacations. This property management company was totally accommodating and stopped by the second day after our arrival. They would periodically check in to make sure all was going good. They have a great team to help you with the reservation, checking in, and living the Salt Life Dream. Thanks to the Fins and Flamingos Owner and Coastal View Vacations for a great first time Snowbird Experience. I have already planned next years Snowbird Experience.

This was our first trip to Gulf Shores . We stayed at a house at Surf side Shores prior to this property. By hands down Fins &flamingos was the best. The location was superb and the views breathtaking. The ease of beach access was amazing. The house itself was well stocked with all necessities and then some. The house is well maintained and very comfortable. We were happy we were allowed to bring our beloved dog. The management team were friendly and helpful. The outdoor shower was a little lacking but our biggest disappointment was we were only able to extend our stay one extra day because guest were coming in. Loved the beach. Would recommend. Would love to return in the future but looks like a house is going to be built directly in front of this property, therefore it will block views and take away close beach access.
