With a last minute booking, the check in was a little delayed as our instructions didn’t come through, but was resolved quickly! (less than 15 min). However, the property was exactly what we were hoping for. Fireplace was enjoyable, as was the hot tub! Thank you for your stay! :)
Peace in the woods Positive: Beautiful cabin with in the woods. The hot tub was amazing and super clean. Negative: The bbq grill was inoperable and actually dangerous. There were limited pans to cook with all of them the size of egg pans and really dirty.
Had a wonderful stay! Our group of 6 had plenty of space to relax and unwind after a day on the lake. Beds were comfortable and there were plenty of fans provided to keep us nice and cool while we slept. Bathrooms and kitchen were stocked with essentials. We appreciated the wide variety of kcups available for us to choose from for our morning coffees on the deck. This property is nestled in nature with all of the comforts of home.
Overall we had a good time and somewhat enjoyed the place but there were some things that interrupted our vacation. 1. The owner told us there was AC but when we got there, there wasn’t any (we were compensated for this which is greatly appreciated) 2. There were only 2 rolls of toilet paper, 1 half roll of paper towels, and only 1 laundry pod left for the 6 of us to use. 3. The grill had rust and was unusable, the dryer hardly dries your clothes, the fridge was barely cold, and the fridge water dispenser doesn’t work and would leak all over the floor. 4. We had quite the fruit fly problem on our final night. 5. The hot water would only come through the kitchen sink for a few minutes then become cold (wouldn’t be an issue if there was a dishwasher). Probably wouldn’t stay again unfortunately, but during the cooler months it seems like a great spot.

LOOK ELSEWHERE In the dozens of Airbnbs that I've stayed at, this was unfortunately the worst. When we first arrived, the grill did not work because the propane tank was empty. We reached out to the host who assured us that a new propane tank would be delivered the next day. This never happened. Many of the outdoor patio lights don't work, so if you choose to spend time on the deck you will be unable to see at night. It was evident that the cabin had not been properly cleaned. From dusty pantry cabinets, dirty pots and pans, messy drawers in the kitchen, etc. no care was given for the cleanliness of this cabin. Despite the listing saying "fully stocked kitchen", the bare necessities (cooking spray or oil of any kind, spare paper towels/napkins) were also not provided. The morning of our departure, the power went out in the bathrooms and no suggestions were provided by the host to resolve this. These were only some of the problems we encountered. No help from the host at all.
The place and our stay was great! Only thing was the ac was not working so it was a little hot in the house. Everything else was great.
Okay place
Extremely quiet and peaceful. Nice to stay for the weekend. Host was great. Please note no dishwasher or A/C. Other than that, recommend.
