Great location but a bit overpriced given the conditions.
Positive: While the house was just a block from the Highway, the property felt remote and quiet. Little travel passed by, the birds, leaves in the treetops, and the waves from the lake could be heard.
Negative: The house is very cute and inviting. My disappointment was in finding the kitchen less than immaculate. There were crumps visible between the countertop and the refrigerator. Similar debris was very clear around the top of the trash container. These details always make me wonder how clean things are that can’t be seen so easily. When I retrieved my dog’s ball from under the living room couch, I got my answer. Additionally, the outdoor cushions were haphazardly tossed against the garage door when we arrived, making a less than stellar impression. The downstairs bathroom faucet leaked onto the sink top when in use, and in both showers it was difficult to prevent the water from escaping onto the floor.

It was nice and clean. The kitchen was good, if a bit short on prep space. The bathrooms were nice and big. The fire pit outside was the best part. The only downside was trying to organise early and late checkout. They made me write back for each request rather than make a note to get back to me. I would definitely stay again.

A clean, comfortable, and peaceful Door County getaway in a great location.
Positive: The house was very clean, comfortable, and charming. We really enjoyed the peaceful and secluded setting while still being conveniently close to Ephraim, Fish Creek, and other Door County attractions. The home was cozy and had everything we needed for a relaxing stay. It was a wonderful place to come back to after a day of exploring.

We enjoyed our stay in Ephraim! The house is secluded, yet just a short walk into town. Also just a short walk to the lake! The house was well equipped and worked well for our group of 5. We’d stay again for sure!
