This was such a unique and beautiful place! From the endless rolling hills that offer stunning views and so much privacy, to the blanket of millions of stars at night, to the daily visits from the cows who live nearby; our experience here was nothing short of magical! The walls of glass windows make you feel completely one with nature, all while nestled safely within the gorgeous interiors of the home. We absolutely plan to come back!
I had a great stay at Red Cottage! The host was responsive and helpful, and the surroundings were ideal, from the views to the neighboring farm’s cows greeting us on arrival. I’d recommend it!
Stop scrolling. You’ve found the place you need to stay! This home was stunning and immaculate. You have complete privacy (except for the occasional cow that stops by the fence line to say hello). You could see every star at night, and dinner on the back deck at sunset was a real highlight of our trip. Unquestionably one of the best AirBnBs I’ve ever stayed in anywhere in the world. I will absolutely be back here soon!

We stayed here with our 3 little kids and it was heaven! The home is absolutely beautiful, and so clean. Very remote and relaxing. The cows came to visit us every day, which the kids loved! We enjoyed exploring Hobarts book stores and antiques. Dinner at the Book Village Inn was cozy and delicious. I would recommend getting groceries to have in home ahead of time, especially if with kids. We loved exploring a little towns as well!
Our stay was fantastic. We were looking for a quiet getaway for our anniversary and we got exactly what we hoped for. The house itself is beautiful, has great amenities and felt like a luxury stay. The views were gorgeous and the daily visit of cows grazing nearby really added to the ambience. We loved our stay here and would absolutely come back, highly recommend anyone looking for a cozy out of the way vacation to stay here
We loved our stay at the endless meadow house so much that we’re already planning g our return. The house itself is gorgeous, like you’re living in a bucolic painting. Very well appointed and designed space is perfect for families or small groups. The surrounding area is so peaceful and we were obsessed with the neighboring cows that came to say hi each day. Our favorite home we’ve rented in the Catskills in over a decade of visiting the area.

Everyone should stay at this Airbnb! We had such a peaceful stay, surrounded by mountains and fresh air. The house is both stunning and incredibly functional, with a well-stocked kitchen that made it easy to cook meals. The bed and couch were extremely comfortable, and the bathtub/shower was a standout. My husband and I kept saying it was the best Airbnb we’ve ever stayed in. The location strikes a perfect balance—quiet and remote, yet just a 10–30 minute drive to towns like Stamford, Oneonta, and Cooperstown, where we found great shops and restaurants. The hosts were responsive and kind throughout our stay. We would absolutely book here again and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a relaxing getaway.
