We rented Michael's place for a family weekend at Vanderbilt. I wanted something quiet, peaceful, and relaxing for catching up with family, but not too far from the university. This turned out to be a great option. We were able to relax, enjoy the quiet outside the city, yet be to Vanderbilt within 15 mins. Everything was clean, neat, and well organized. It's a beautiful space, with lots of thoughtful extras (items in the kitchen that made cooking easy, toiletries, even the Sand and Fog home fragrance was a nice touch). We were comfortable and relaxed every time we were in the home. The only downside was the weather, with a major heatwave we did not get to enjoy the outside spaces as much as we would have liked, but I am thinking we have found our go to Airbnb for when we return to Nashville. If you are looking for something quiet, peaceful, yet a short drive from the city, do not pass on this rental.

It was exactly like the pictures I think its a plus each bedroom had its own bathroom. The area was very peaceful, beautiful, and private!! About 20 mins from everything and overall would stay again!!

Country stay very close to Nashville. Perfect for 3 women friends meeting and enjoying Nashville.

It was absolutely stunning. Can't wait to rebook for our next girls trip. We flew in and got an Uber to the house and then yo downtown Nashville. ❤️

This nice, spacious house is close to family so perfect for me.

We did not want to stay in the heart of Nashville. It was great to go visit (20 min drive) and come back to this quiet, peaceful and beautiful place. We timed our travel and activities to avoid heavy traffic 99% of the time. It’s super clean (a priority for us) and a great place to stay especially if you are traveling with an elderly family member. You have space for yourself and quiet time as well as a space to gather. We loved being able to sit outside in two different areas of the home (front, back). We saw some deer and listened to the birds and nature sing. The host accommodated a special request and took a chance we’d be gracious guests. I’m thankful for that because our vacation here was PERFECT! We even extended a day!

The location was outside of Nashville by 10-15 minutes. Secluded and safe, clean and tidy. Loved being able to wake up to wonder what nature experiences I’d have that day. There is a convenience store across the highway that came in handy for small things as well as a quick lunch at times. Nice to have access to high end appliances. Thank you Michael for hosting the Fisk reunion for 2026 in Nashville, TN!

Book this for your next stay! This house was absolutely incredible! Perfect for your next Nashville trip! It’s about 15 minutes outside of the city, but it definitely doesn’t feel like it. It’s nice and quiet. Michael is super responsive and helpful.

Just WOW! Charming and manicured outside. Immaculate and cozy inside. The highlight of highlights is all three spacious bedrooms have spa-sized bathrooms! The outside patio furniture is just as comfortable and cozy as the four loveseat sized chairs in the living room! We wanted to stay longer!!

Great hosts! The place was spotless and perfectly decorated! Well stocked kitchen with everything we needed and love that each bedroom has its own bathroom. If we ever need a place in Nashville again, this is on the list!

We love this house, as we are returning guests. The home is accurately described in the photos and description. It is always very very clean, which is huge for us with kids. The beds are very comfortable and so is the furniture in the family room. One thing is the outside furniture is not really usable and at night you can’t sit out there with the lights on due to the massive amount of bugs (obviously noting the owners can do about this). It was quite noisy this trip, as gravel/concrete trucks coming down both roads the house sits on from 7am until 5pm. This woke us up in the morning and disrupted our outside time regularly.

The home was great! The location was very peaceful but we were not far away from restaurants and shopping centers. Would definitely recommend!

Our stay was absolutely perfect from start to finish. The space was spotless, beautifully decorated, and even better than described. The bathroom was exceptionally clean with fresh towels, and we really appreciated the thoughtful touch of three extra rolls of toilet tissue in each bathroom. The bedding was soft, fresh, and very comfortable, making it easy to get a great night’s sleep. The kitchen was fully stocked with all the cooking appliances and utensils we needed, which made preparing meals easy and convenient. The only minor thing missing was a whisk, but everything else was well provided. The location was ideal—close to everything yet quiet and relaxing. Communication with the host was seamless; they were friendly, responsive, and helpful throughout our stay. We would definitely stay here again and highly recommend it. Truly a 5-star experience!

This house is SPOTLESS, cosy and with a highly communicative host! Easy to find with all the space you could want for your small group.

House was beautiful, sitting outside and seeing/hearing nature was amazing. Kitchen was so well stocked with everything you needed to cook. Beds were somewhat uncomfortable but if you like a firmer mattress then it’s definitely for you. Otherwise we very much enjoyed our stay.

This was a last minute booking for us and we are beyond thrilled that we followed through and the property available. Couldn’t have asked for a better stay! Thank you for the beautiful and most peaceful place that made us feel right at home. 🩵☀️

Michael’s place was a dream. Beautiful house, beautiful surroundings. Everything you could need. One of the best Airbnb’s I’ve stayed at.

This place is exactly as described. Beautiful location outside the hustle and bustle of downtown Nashville and Broadway which makes this place a true gem. The location is within 20 minutes of EVERYTHING you want to see and do in Nashville. Highly recommend booking this beautiful place. We will do so in the future as well.

If you want a place thats peaceful and relaxing but still only 15 mins to Nashville then I highly recommend staying here.

My family and I were in town from CA for a wedding. Michael’s property was perfect! Warm, peaceful yet close enough to all the Nashville “things.” A bathroom for each bedroom was amazing when it was time for us to get ready for the big day. I highly recommend this property. Mornings on the patio were the best! We had a great first visit to Nashville and hope to visit again.

The home was beautiful and very spacious. House was extremely clean, felt right at home. All instructions for check in and check out were clear and easy to follow. Love that each room had a bathroom, made getting ready much quicker and efficient before going out. The porches were beautiful and the view was great!
