Great place and amazing location! Perfect for just a couple!

The place was cute and had personality. Bed was super comfy and felt like we were in giant marshmallow! The space was perfect for my bf and I to celebrate my birthday. Responsive as we had a little difficulty getting in. We had requested an early check in but there was a guest prior to us and the cleaners needed time to clean before we arrived. The bedding had a stain on it which was our only complaint about cleanliness. We would still recommend this listing and it was close by to most of the things we wanted to do during our visit. Quiet neighborhood when we slept.

Place was very cozy and private for couples. Extremely clean and definitely would recommend for a couples getaway!

We enjoyed our stay, it was a very nice place for the weekend. Positive: The property is beautiful and clean . Plenty of space for a couple and being hatted in was a major plus. Negative: There were not clear instructions on how to use the AC , it did stay kind of warm .

Clean, cute, and cozy location. The kitchen had enough to cook a few real meals during our week-long trip. The only very minor inconvenience was when the internet went down one night, customer service on the app tried to fix it as late as 11pm, but had to fix it the next day. I think it was just a router reboot thing and they were responsive and fixed the issue as soon as they could. Great option for a couple or single person.

A few things the place was great for parking. You are in the alley so if you are by yourself if could be a little weird at night. The place was great small and cozy. Great use of the space. There was a little Odor when I first walked in so I just opened all the windows and door to air the house out. Thank for the hospitality.

Loved this little cottage in the heart of downtown! Really loved that it had a private yard. Everything was clean and newly renovated. The bed, mattress, pillows and lighting in the bedroom were very comfortable. The neighborhood was very quiet. The best part was that it was so close to Lady Bird Lake trail and to downtown. Highly recommend this place for solo or couples looking for a peaceful retreat that is super close to downtown and yet close to nature. The hosts were very friendly and responded very quickly to questions. I highly recommend this place for solo or couples!

I had a great stay at the airbnb!! it was very cozy and private, and we enjoyed the outdoor patio! gas grill worked great and we even roasted marshmallows. the kitchen was fully stocked with utensils, ice, silverware, coffee, etc. the bathroom was also very nice and i love how the airbnb had windows for some natural light. only things were that maybe there should be a stronger A/C (the airbnb could be cooler during the day, but we were visiting the city so we were out and about - at night and mornings the A/C is just perfect!). there should also be a handle on the driveway door so it’s easy to slide open - these are just suggestions <3 the washer and dryer do work too but make sure to do it all in small loads (and bring dryer sheets) overall i had a great stay at this airbnb!!! definitely recommend if you’re looking for a cozy and private vacation by yourself or with someone.

Nice little place to stay on our first trip to Austin and had plenty of amenities. We wanted to be able to cook a few of our meals and were able to easily do so. Having the park/river so close as well as sixth street was very convenient. We took a kayak tour to see the bats (you can walk down the street to do this.) Uber was also much less expensive here for further locations.

In Austin for work and play. Great for both, would definitely stay again!

Not impressed Positive: Location was good Negative: The bed frame literally broke in half and they would not fix it. Nor would they offer a refund. Only a partial refund. We were on out honeymoon from Australia, and had to sleep on the floor. We had to physically move the bedframe into the yard and sleep on the floor.

I do not have anything to complain about. This was the perfect house for me and my friend to stay during the weekend. It was super cute, clean and cozy. The host was very responsive and would respond no longer than 10 mins. The house was very clean and the bed was very comfortable. I will definitely be staying there again next time I visit Austin.

This was an excellent stay! The parking was secure behind a rolling fence, it was very clean, the memory foam bed was comfortable, the kitchen had everything I needed to make meals, and the washer/dryer worked great. The A/C worked very well and the shower had great water pressure. The hosts were extremely responsive and proactive. I would stay here again in a heartbeat!

The arrival was good and we were very excited to live in the little house. As we got into the house and moved our stuff in we started to notice unclean areas. We tried to make it work and ignore the small things until they added up and worse things came up. For example the WiFi stopped working, the tv in the bedroom didn’t work at all and we woke up after the first night just to realize we slept in coffee stained sheets. The owners replied to our issues and tried to help but as soon as we wanted a refund and to look for a new place the responses slowed down and then stopped. The support helped us and we ended up losing some money and leaving after one night. Not everything was bad but it was enough for us to find a different place to stay at.

Your own private getaway Positive: The location, parking, privacy and layout of the place were all great! Negative: We had a little trouble with the wifi, but it may have just been a temporary issue.

Place is a great little spot tucked away in the heart of East Austin. Offers a good view of downtown and close proximity to all of the hustle and bustle of the city while still being a quiet little get away. Will most certainly book again on my frequent Austin weekend trips!

We had a great experiences staying here! The home was as described, it was clean and safe. We will certainly return for future stays in Austin.

Overall, our stay was enjoyable. The space was clean, quiet, and the location was pretty walkable. There were plenty of towels and amenities for us. My only complaints are that there was no bed frame in the bedroom - it was just a mattress on the ground. The mattress was decently comfortable, but it wasn’t the easiest to get in and out of bed, and it’s not something we were expecting. The outdoor space was nice to have! The fire pit outside seemed to be out of gas, which was a bummer since it was cold in ATX during our stay. Otherwise, it was a pleasant experience and the hosts were responsive and helpful.

Really bad - no hot water. Apparently that’s acceptable because they were unwilling to compensate. Hard to find (entranc Positive: Not much, this place has no hot water, and it smells bad. Negative: Mosquitoes, really odd smell, NO HOT WATER - somehow the latter is acceptable to the ‘remote’ management.

It's a very nice, cozy spot to stay while in East Austin. Has a great location and access. Well appointed inside with all the stuff you need for a present stay. The weather was winter wet in Austin during our time there so we didn't get to use the outside but it looked nice. I would recommend it to others needing a one-bedroom place in town.

Host was very responsive, however instructions for arrival were lacking detail. The home is on the back half of a property that the address takes you to. It would be helpful to know in order to access the property you need to go down a back alley and there is a sliding door. The property did not have any bath towels on site and took until the middle of the next day to get some onto the site. The keyless door entry also stopped working and we had to leave the property unlocked while we went out on the town. The location was very good in terms of proximity of things to do in Austin. The value was not worth what we paid for the stay.

This was my first experience with Airbnb, and this place put a bad taste in my mouth. Our door code was wrong on arrival. The space was adorable and tastefully decorated, in a great location that made it feel like you weren't right in the city. Unfortunately, the two towels that were left for us were covered in what looked like ladies foundation, and were hard and crusty with stains. The extra linens had lipstick stains and .. other yellow/brown stains all over them to where it made it look like they weren't washed. The morning after our second night, we woke up to find some of the items in the kitchen nibbled on, along with lots of mouse feces and even urine on the counters and floors. We contacted the host about this immediately, and were accused of not notifying them right away. They refused to deal with us directly and after review of all the evidence, refused to refund us in any capacity. They were not at all accommodating or understanding. Don't let the pretty pictures fool you.

STAY AT YOUR OWN RISK. Asked for an early check in with no follow up or response. Fine, no problem. We get there right at check in time and the code for the door would not unlock it. We were waiting in 100 degree summer heat with no response. Finally got in after 30 mins after making many calls. Within 2 hours of arriving the inside temp climbed to over 86 degrees. Customer service was horrible. They are based out of a different country and no one working for the company communicates with each other. We were told they’d come up with a solution within 1 hr… we waited 4 hours just for them to tell us they can’t do anything. Keep in mind it’s now 10pm and 87 degrees at the place. They would not give us reimbursement to get a hotel room for the night. Next day ac was fixed. Over the course of 5 days WiFi broke multiple times. Had to call Maintenace every single day. Bedding was dirty and mattress was extremely uncomfortable. Even without all these issues the place is still “eh”.

Everything was great but the code to get in the house listed on Airbnb is not the actual code. We had to call the number after waiting in the heat. They need to update instructions. Other than that, super easy to grab an Uber and explore Austin. Comfy bed. Was very clean, cute and AC was on point considering we came during a heat wave.

Great company and great location!

The folks at UrbanStay kept in touch with us in case we had any issues or needed anything throughout the stay. The home itself was very comfortable and cozy, similar to a tiny home, but a little more spacious. The couch in the living room was very comfortable and there were games available to use. The internet went out here and there when we were streaming a movie on the TV, but it wasn’t a big deal. The kitchen itself was very clean and had dishes and utensils available for use. The bathroom was very clean and the shower and sink had amazing water pressure! The mirror in the bathroom was super fancy and had an adjustable light, great lighting for putting makeup on. The bed was a king size and both the bed and pillows were extremely comfortable. The bed was not too soft nor firm. Outdoors there is a lot of sitting, and beautiful tarps/canopies provided a lot of shade and let a good amount of light through. The home is surrounded by a wooden fence and gate which felt very safe. Lovely!!

Fantastic little spot, perfect for a couple or solo traveler! Super cozy and cute, but with plenty of room and everything you could need. Entry is from the alley in a quiet and safe feeling neighborhood. Easy 15-20 min walk to all the bars/restaurants, but also a few cute spots closer by. Highly recommend!

The place was nice however, on the 2nd day of our 5 day trip, we noticed the yard games were missing. It took Urban Stay until the middle of our 4th (last full) day to finally figure out that the yard games were “under maintenance and we’re not placed back in time for our stay” and it seemed as if no efforts were made to resolve this problem in a timely manner. We also quickly noticed that the streaming channels were not working on either tv. We were able to watch live tv in the living room however that eventually went out as well. The house was nice but the communication and expectations were well below par.

Cozy place near everything. The host was very proactive and made us feel comfortable during our stay! They really made sure to check in on us during our stay which was nice.

Cute and cozy space with AC, dedicated parking spot, and big tvs! The neighborhood wasn’t as walkable as we hoped, but it’s super close to lots of restaurants, coffee shops, bars, etc. The house is older and worn on the outside while the inside is renovated for a modern feel. Overall a decent spot for the price point.

Next time we’re in Austin we will definitely stay at this place again. It was centralized to everything we intended to do…15 min drive or less (mostly less). Very comfy bed and bedding. Very comfy couch. Has everything you need if you want to make a meal at the house (full size fridge, pots, pans, plates, cups, utensils, oil, salt, pepper, etc). Secure parking, clear instructions on where to park once you start the check-in process. We didn’t get to enjoy the outdoor area because Austin heat/humidity was a little much for us but there a nice outdoor hang out area.

It is a tiny house in a quite neighborhood in East Austin—but just 15 minutes walking distance to downtown Austin. In the garden, there is a fireplace and a barbecue, which is really nice in the evenings.

Cute and clean place. A little difficult to navigate to as the entrance is actually through the alley and not main street. When we arrived the house was very hot and thermostat had been set in the 90's, but host was very responsive and we were able to resolve it quickly. Well stocked and furnished and a short drive to downtown Austin.

Our stay here was great! It is in a fantastic location, and had a fully stocked kitchen that we took advantage of when we wanted to stay in for a night. Check in for us was a little rough/confusing. The instructions in the airbnb app did not match up with the instructions in the website link they messaged to us. It was confusing that have to switch between airbnb and their website. However, the hosts were extremely responsive and answered our questions swiftly. The bed here is an extremely firm memory foam mattress that caused some pretty severe back pain after the first night. Overall, this was a great spot!

This is a great stay if you want your own space and the convenience of location! It’s close to east side bars and a short drive to anything else popular. I would recommend this stay for anyone visiting Austin. Our critique is that the “fire pit” should be relocated and this yard is just begging for a hot tub!

We had a great stay! Easy check in process and clear instructions that also helped in finding the place. Having a secure place for the car was so nice!! The place was cozy and comfortable and the bed was soooo comfortable! Clean and thoughtfully stocked on some essentials like coffee, shampoo, toiletries which was great. Quiet neighborhood area that is also just a minute or two drive from all the action - best of both worlds! Also a nice patio area for just sitting outside in nice weather as well! Would absolutely stay again next time I'm in town!
