The property was amazing and comfortable. We felt extremely welcome and would love to return! The welcome gifts were a nice touch. It was a dream to have a lovely fire on the beach.

There is no place in the state with a better sand beach than this. The house has plenty of space to spread out. It was well equipped with beach supplies including chairs, wetsuits, kayaks and kid toys. Many thoughtful touches like phone chargers, foot wash station and the best welcome basket I have seen. View was exceptional - the eagle who stayed perched in the pine tree next door thought so too.

Our family had an incredible stay at this home in Door County. The house was beautiful, comfortable, and had everything we needed for a relaxing vacation. It was the perfect place to unwind after spending the day exploring the area.The owner was exceptionally friendly, responsive, and genuinely helpful throughout the entire process, making everything easy from booking to checkout.Part of me is hesitant to leave such a glowing review because I'd rather keep this place a secret—I don't want any competition when we try to book it again next summer! But it's too good not to recommend. We can't wait to come back.

The location was perfect for our family vacation. The house worked well; enough space for everyone. There were options for eating, playing games, campfires and more! The highlight was the beautiful beach! We spent hours playing in the water and sand. It was wonderful having access to kayaks, too. Both the indoor and outdoor spaces were amazing. Highly recommend!

We just had our 2nd stay at Lily Bay Lodge. It has become a family favorite. Kayaking on the lake, long walks on the beach and listening to the waves at night. The host has always been great and still has a very generous gift basket with fantastic salmon.

We had a wonderful stay and would gladly return. What made this property stand out was the hospitality. The owner checked in during our stay to make sure we had everything we needed and went above and beyond by bringing over some freshly caught salmon, which we grilled for dinner. It was such a thoughtful and memorable touch.Despite some rain, our group spent much of our time enjoying the outdoor spaces. The screened porch was a favorite spot for morning coffee and the patio gave us a great space for evening conversation and plenty of opportunities to relax and enjoy the beautiful setting. We also took advantage of the kayaks and wetsuits, which made it easy and fun to get out on the water.Tip: bring ingredients for a few meals at the house. Between the outdoor spaces, the water access, and the fire pit, you may find yourselves wanting to spend more time at the property and less time running around Door County.The property was comfortable, peaceful, and a great place for our family to spend time together. Spacious, well-laid out home with perks throughout- kayaks, fireplace, fire pit, wet suits and sand toys. Wonderful view and a sandy beach that goes on and on in both directions. Gracious host left a basket of goodies and brought us fresh salmon that we cooked on the gas grill. Great space for a family. There were 7 of us including 2 little ones and there were plenty of spaces to spread out. Some reading niches too. Would definitely recommend this place! We hope to be back.

We had a wonderful stay and would absolutely return. The location right on the lake is hard to beat—the views were beautiful, and we loved being able to walk the beach for miles each day. The outdoor spaces were especially enjoyable, with a comfortable deck, plenty of seating, and a pristine grill that we ended up using every day. The fenced-in yard was perfect for our dogs and gave us great peace of mind while they explored and relaxed. The hosts went above and beyond with an incredibly generous gift basket filled with local treats, and we were pleasantly surprised to find neoprene suits available for guests to use in the lake. The home itself was spacious, comfortable, and thoughtfully stocked with everything we needed. This was exactly the kind of place we were looking for—a peaceful retreat where we could relax, recharge, and enjoy the beauty of the lake. Highly recommended!

Our stay was wonderful! Mitch was incredibly friendly and helpful and gave us such a warm welcome and stay. I booked here for the lake views and proximity and it was exactly as described. The house was spacious and comfortable. Would definitely come back!

Beautiful and met the needs for our extended family of 8 . Three bathrooms was nice . Close enough to Sturgeon Bay and grocery store .

We had another great stay here. The host is responsive and friendly. The home is spacious and comfortable. The beachfront is beautiful, walkable and swimming is great.

My family and I had a wonderful time at time at this place! Property that’s right by the shores of Lake Michigan is a dream. We enjoyed the kayaks and fire pit by the beach. The house itself is cozy and has very interesting decor with lots of charm. It is clean, organized and well stocked. We hope to be back!

Great getaway! My family and I had a wonderful time at the Lily Bay Lodge. Just what we needed to kick off the cozy season. Mitch went above and beyond to ensure we had a wonderful stay. Everything we needed to enjoy the weekend was provided. Even when we left a cable at home, for one of our devices, Mitch was more than willing to run out and grab it for us. Door County Anniversary Getaway Lily Bay Lodge was home for 4 nights in early October for my husband and I and our two small dogs. We wanted someplace special for our anniversary and this location was perfection! Our stay couldn't have been any better! We appreciated the kindness of the owner ... it is obvious they care tremendously about the property. The accommodations were comfortable for us and our pups. Everything was clean and worked well. The fenced in yard for the dogs was great! The beach and the view were amazing... we were up early every morning to watch the sunrise! We would definitely stay here again and highly recommend it for anyone looking for a special stay in DC!

Perfect getaway! Beautiful house and property with absolutely stunning views of Lake Michigan! I was the exact restful getaway we were looking for and our dog was also delighted to be there due to the fenced in back yard and the wide open beach to explore either direction. If you are looking for a true, quiet, gorgeous getaway, this is the perfect house and location.

IDEAL LOCATION We couldn't have been happier with the location, the house and the owner. Our visit to Door County was absolutely perfect. You are right on the sandy beach and the sunrises were amazing everyday. Thanks for the wonderful vacation.

Beautiful lakefront Nice quiet home with a beautiful lakefront and grassy backyard with patio.

Prime Location The location can't be beat with a sand beach in your backyard. House was great, comfortable beds, rustic decor, and everything you need for this to be an amazing stay!

Family time Great place for our family of 6. Pelicans on the lake were a bonus as well as the piano! Beds were comfy. Beach was beautiful and very private. Plenty of places to relax. Wonderful family time. Everything was in working order.

Wonderful Door County Lakeside weekend The Lily Bay Lodge was wonderful- the house is great, beds super comfy. And the location was amazing - so many stars in the clear night sky and we loved drifting off to sleep to the sound of the waves. Host was very responsive to all our questions and needs and gave a great suggestion for local live music!

Wonderful stay with the beach as your backyard My family and I stayed here for 4 nights. The lake house was very clean, spacious, and exactly as described. The highlight is the location. You have part of the lake Michigan shoreline as your backyard. It felt like a private beach because there were such few people around. My dog also enjoyed the fenced yard and we ate on the patio and screened in porch. The owner was very friendly and even offered us complimentary salmon that he had caught the night before. It was delicious. We will definitely be coming back during our next trip to door county.
