Beautiful setting - the house is completely surrounded by beautiful trees and the house was comfortable and provided exactly what we needed for a girls weekend getaway.

We loved the location- definitely off the beaten path. We used the downstairs bedroom only. The bed was comfortable and the house was nicely decorated and clean. The kitchen needed some attention - the oven needs to be cleaned and the kitchen was pretty disorganized. I like to cook so having a well appointed and clean kitchen is important to me. Love the wall of window and the light. The forest was starting to put on its fall color show. I bet next week it is stunning. We did not use the fire pit - it was orderly and there was wood available for use.

Only issue was the code to access the door was sent but buried in a message where another code also was listed so it took a little bit to figure out. Otherwise excellent experience.

Spider Man over decorated the house, especially the basement and garage.Pet friendly comes at a price gouging price compared to hotels.Taking bagged up garbage out to dumpster and delivering baskets of linens downstairs to the basement laundry equipment required at this high of rent is shameful.

Overall this was a lovely property. Our group was a bit taken back by the EXTREME amount of spiders around the outside of the property. There were no spiders inside at all, but the sheer number of spiders on the outdoor tables/around the fire pit dissuaded us from using any of the outdoor amenities. Obviously this isn't something the hosts (who were very easy to communicate with and great to work with) could help, so we didn't bring it up, but something to know in case you have a group that does not want to deal with hundreds of spiders.The location is lovely and the space itself was great. I'd argue the master bedroom is so large that a group could bring an mattress and set it up in there, rather than use the pull-out couch, which was not the most comfy (no pull-out couches really are haha). I want to stress that overall, this really was a great property, and we are very happy with our experience here!

It was as expected except the wifi information and the door code told in advance were both wrong. Positive: The house is beautiful. Negative: There weren't enough chairs in the living room.

Cabin in the Woods is in a great location with plenty of room for the pups, but our stay was definitely an "off-the-grid" adventure. We survived a 2 AM blizzard power outage (and eventually reached the power company ourselves after a wrong number mishap), but unfortunately, the Wi-Fi never decided to join us for the rest of the week. Most notably, the home had a lingering, heavy curry scent that triggered some sinus issues for our group, making us worry about the air quality. While management was always polite, the responses felt a bit like talking to a scripted robot—friendly, but not quite able to solve the issues. We appreciated the two large bedrooms, the leather couches, and the cozy loft sleeping area overlooking open concept living space with floor to ceiling windows. Cabin in the Woods is a lovely spot if you’re looking to truly unplug, just be aware you are not allowed to park in the garage and there is no dishwasher.

We loved this hidden house. It was far enough from the bustle. Great breakfast barn place near the cabin and convenient gas station if you forget anything. We will be back.

Family favorite

The house was charming and accommodating to the five of us. All amenities as described were present except the use of wifi was limited which was a concern because of some scheduled zoom meetings. As of this writing, we do not know if we are going to be charged extra with five days' notice for the two dogs we had already registered. If there is an additional $700 charge, we consider it a bait and switch situation. If the misunderstanding is cleared up, we are great with the price and home.

Was a great stay for our larger group. Very private, nice space, great location for our activities.

Pet friendly cabin in the woods This place checked all the boxes for a long weekend. “Limited mobility” friendly with bedroom and shower on main level. Loved the walk with the puppy to exercise and see wildlife and sunsets. Everything you needed, well supplied for families and out of way for quiet getaways. Would definitely return (with matches for the fire pit).

Great secluded location Very beautiful setting, clean home with comfy beds. The code provided in email didn't work for the door when we got there, but there was a number to call and I was able to get a working code right away. I extended my stay and overall thought their team was very easy to contact and coordinate with through the VRBO app, as well. That was much appreciated. Would stay again!

Perfect Fall Getaway We had a wonderful time enjoying the fall colors from this secluded location. Very unique stay. Loved being able to bring our dogs and cook/grill meals at the house.

My new favorite place We’ve stayed in Door County each year for the last several years. This is my new favorite place! Great location, beautiful home, dog friendly, and overall wonderful experience. We plan on visiting here again soon!

Perfect home for vacation! From the moment we entered until the time we had to leave, the stay on Egg Harbor was great! The home was perfect and Rocky, our Schnauzer was relaxed at home. The home had everything we needed and then soon. My husband and I have been to Door County before and love the area. The rest of our group had never been to Door County or eve. The Midwest. Great location! This was a beautiful property that was secluded yet close to fun shopping, bars, wineries, etc. Would definitely recommend!

Great Property 4 adults staying 4 nights. Our friend’s dog sitting arrangements changed last minute & owners able to accommodate our request to bring dog after we’d already told them we weren’t bringing the dog - that was appreciated. Home very comfortable and a good base for exploring the area. Well stocked for our stay - only recommendation would be to provide wine glasses - we did not find any there. Would recommend to others.

a good time Clean and cozy. Enough space for 7. The sky light being right over the pull-out bed was tough just because of the direct sunlight but thats my only gripe. Secluded but with neighbors still, with locality to some great spots. Definitely worth the stay

Enzo Approved It was wonderful that the Cabin in the Woods is pet friendly. Our dog was thrilled taking walks in the woods and on the private road. The cabin is very comfortable and nicely equipped. We had a relaxing and fun week! Vicki, Phil and Enzo
