Very comfortable home in a quiet, beautiful, countryside location while still close to town. The house was exceptionally clean! We enjoyed our stay there.

Beautiful home outside of Sturgeon Bay. Many small touches made us feel welcome. Home exactly as described.

Our second stay here was just as good, if not better than the first! Private, quiet, clean and peaceful.

House is very well kept and organized. Plenty of useful kitchen utensils (pans, plates, silverware, etc) and well stocked to be ready the first day (IE soap, dishwasher detergent, laundry supplies, cleaning solutions, etc). Great for guests with and without pets and a wonderful neighborhood to walk around in.

This property was simply amazing! It is close to shopping, restaurants and numerous things to do, but yet peaceful, private, and beautiful! It was extremely clean and the host was always responsive. We felt like we were at home. I highly recommend this property and you will not be disappointed!

Our stay was very enjoyable. The location is very private and quiet. It was easy to get anywhere in the peninsula. The home was spotless and felt homely as we walked in. We enjoyed used of the garage to park our cars. It was very peaceful. It was fun to watch deer eat from the apple tree in the back yard .

We had an amazing stay with our two dogs. Quietly & private with amenities, activities, & restaurants close by. Clean, comfortable beds, well-maintained. Kitchen had all the things I needed to prepare meals—even a crock pot. When their handyman needed to stop by to do minor tasks, excellent communication ahead of time (we were out & about in an area with no internet but had cell service & I was contacted both through the app & text message to ensure it was ok well ahead of time). Our only recommendation would be to consider adding a grill (we knew when booking that there was not one!).

Great house, lots of room. We had 6 adults and a medium sized dog staying at the house. Nicely furnished kitchen and baths. Outdoor toys, books and games included. Loved the outdoor firepit. Rural location, super quiet and private. We would recommend the house to anyone visiting beautiful Door County.

We had a great stay! The rooms were extremely clean and spacious. The kitchen was well stocked with dishes, pans and appliances. Beds are on the firmer side. If you are looking for a place that’s quiet and private, this is a perfect home. It’s still easily accessible to other towns. Each of our five days, we headed out to a new town on the peninsula. The drives ranged from a few minutes to 40 minutes.

The house is great. It had everything that you need. The only issue is the internet really not good at all. Cell phone service is bad as well but I truly enjoyed our stay and would stay there again.

Major Hiccup Resolved Our stay began by finding out the property had no hot water. The host was quick to respond to the call. Unfortunately, the problem could not be fixed during the first night of our stay. We were unable to shower after the road trip or the next morning. That did change our plans for the first two days of a 4- day mini getaway. We spent nearly 24 hours without hot water. The rest of the stay was relaxing and fine. This home is a little out of the way- a 10-40 minute drive from activities. We really appreciated that we could have our dog with us. He settled in well, and the neighborhood was perfect for quiet walks. We made use of the fire pit for relaxing evenings. We were visited by multiple deer, bunnies, and even a turkey. The home has a new water heater now, so any future guests should not have the same problem we did.

Staying Door County Love the layout of the house. Close to all the town’s without traveling a long distance. Quiet neighborhood, deer outside your backyard in the morning and evenings. Neighbors are friendly. Brought two granddaughters and two dogs. Everyone enjoyed the trip!
