A great family escape!

Derry woods cabin was fantastic for our family stay. Great location, easy amenities, and super comfortable. Thanks to the hosts for great communication and responsiveness. All around, awesome!

We loved our stay! We skied at Magic which was 7 mins down the street. The house was spacious, cozy, comfortable and clean. We loved the massive comfortable couch. The kitchen was fully stocked with cooking supplies. The coffee maker was perfect. The 2 king beds were lovely and super comfortable with nice linens. The master shower was like being at a spa. The road to the house was quiet and private. We would definitely rent again.

The house was great but there were some issues with the water in the house. Water pressure was very low and the hot water was inconsistent. They were very good about responding to our problems and took the issue seriously. Over all a great house for a ski weekend with the family.

My friends and I had the best time staying at the Derry Woods Cabin. The house is thoughtfully decorated with antique pieces and cozy ski décor that made it feel warm and comfortable from the moment we arrived. We loved the recent bathroom renovations and were surprised by the new countertops and appliances in the kitchen as they weren’t shown in the listing pictures. The house was well stocked with nespresso pods, paper goods, blankets, kitchenware, games, and books, which made our stay easy and enjoyable. The house is in a very convenient location for skiing. We went to Stratton (about 20 minutes away) and Killington (about 45 minutes away) and there are other mountains even closer. There is also a great coffee shop and large grocery store about 5 minutes down the road. We would definitely recommend this house to anyone looking for a cozy getaway!

This is our second time staying at Red Cottage. We love the location because we have access to multiple ski mountains. This time we skied Okemo. Last time we skied Bromley and Stratton. No complaints. The bedrooms are really nice as are the bathrooms. You can’t go wrong with the Red Cottage.
