Had a fantastic stay at this beautiful home. We got to see gorgeous fall color during the day, deer sightings ( deer with its entire family) every morning and evenings and stunning night with the kind of star sightings you never get to see in the city or elsewhere. The first night we literally saw the galaxy right above the house. Just 15-20 mins away there so much to do. This is a great place to enjoy fall season. We loved it.

Awesome place! Lots of wildlife
The folks at Posto Property were extremely responsive and accommodating throughout our stay. The house was very clean and smelt great, and there was no shortage of activities (Pac Man, Ping Pong, Board Games) to do around the house. The surrounding neighborhood is very peaceful and quiet, making the front porch almost a sanctuary. We stayed at the house for a weekend to go to shows at Bethel Arts Center, and it was the perfect setup. 20-minute drive to the venue, close enough for it to be an easy drive but far enough to feel like we were really out in nature. Would recommend in a heartbeat!
I came up last minute for 2 nights and stayed for 5. I am a frequent upstate visitor, and this home was absolutely perfect for myself mad my dog. It was exactly like the pictures and definitely remote but close enough (20 min?) from all neighboring towns. There isn’t one thing I didn’t love- the view, the beds (so comfy), the kitchen, and the ease of checking. I spent most of my time on the porch watching the deer listening to the wind chimes and watching the weather roll by but I drove easily (many times) to Roscoe and Livingston Manor for river hikes and dinner. The driving around is what makes its location beautiful, if you don’t mind hopping in the car and taking scenic drives. This is one of my new favorite places and I will be a year round regular. I can’t wait to come back!

Very nicely done house with beautiful views! Was great to stay there and be in nature. They were very responsive via message and everything went smoothly.
