We hope to have the opportunity to be your home away from home in the Smoky Mountains! Upon arrival everything seemed wonderful, we got in late any went to bed. The cabin itself is well described. Definitely enough room for 2 people. We thought it was going to be a great place. Come to found out the next day we could hear animals in the walls. I contacted the host that day and multiple days after that. My responses were and I quote Hi Mary, maintenance was out and assessed that it was likely squirrels which are a bit difficult to remove, they have set traps and will continue to work on solutions. Hi Mary, I do apologize, we are going to have maintenance come back out to take a look at the issue. “Thank you for your understanding and patience. We're doing our best to have this corrected and resolved as soon as possible. Regards We left the following Wednesday and there were still squirrels in the walls. They would run on the ceiling and in the walls constantly. Stuff would fall down from the gaps in the walls that the squirrels had brought in.

We hope to have the opportunity to be your home away from home in the Smoky Mountains! It was a great location away from the hustle and bustle but not too far away for fun to be had. The cabin was clean and comfy. My only complaint would be the pillows on the bed are super thin and not at all supportive. But, overall still a great place!
