Our stay in Toronto was excellent. The basement is very well located and we were able to visit all the places we wanted using public transportation. Since there is a store upstairs, some noise is unavoidable, especially on weekends, but it did not bother us. The heating system works very well and we did not feel cold at any time, even on very cold days. The kitchen is fully equipped with all the necessary utensils, which was essential for cooking our own meals, especially for our children who are used to Brazilian food. The hosts were very helpful, responsive, and gave us great tips about the city and parking throughout our stay.

Positive: Good kitchen, TV, bathroom and bedrooms. Great stay for 2 people. Negative: The couch and beds were a bit hard. No windows at all (the one in the bathroom was blocked off). Random clicking noise in the middle of the night from the roof.

Little Italy Apartment: Nice for the price! Positive: On the corner of Ossington and College which are two bustling streets loaded with things to do. The location of the apartment was also well hidden which allows you to feel safe. The actual accomodations were nice and definitely worth the money for a 3-4 night stay. Negative: The only thing of note has more to do with the location then the actual accomodations as raccoons were occasionally found nearby some nights! Additionally, it is a bit of a walk from Kensington market, but is a great spot overall.

We had a great stay, everything was clean and tidy. Nice location! As others say, it does get noisy in the early morning but we didn’t hear anything on a Monday morning. Perhaps the bakery upstairs was closed :) The provided earplugs helped. Paid parking right infront of the door was cheaper than street parking. Quick communication! Thanks

Clean, comfortable, and good value!

Close to food. Easy check in.

The only downside is the bakery upstairs; you start hearing noises around 8:00 a.m footsteps and carts so if you’re a light sleeper, you’ll want to wake up before then. Even with the earplugs provided, you can still hear them. A quick sweep of the stairs wouldn’t hurt. Otherwise, the apartment is spacious, clean inside, and well-equipped.

Great location within Toronto, however it is located in an alleyway and in the basement of a bakery, it is pretty loud very early and we were constantly awoken by sounds being made by the bakery upstairs as early as 5am, there were ants also walking through our belongings. Everything else was as expected.

Nice place overall. The rooms and beds are pretty comfortable. There were a few ants on the first day, so make sure to not leave food out in the open.

Great neighborhood location! This is a basement apartment which we knew going into it but we did not know that there was a very active cookie shop above. The noise was a lot from 8pm-10:30pm & 5am-8am was the worst of it (the drip of the sink upstairs as they were washing trays was the consistent noise) I am 6’2 and had to duck inter the door frames which was ok, just be aware. The bathroom was the super nice and a highlight. For the price, it’s not terrible but I wish we paid a bit less for the inconvenience of the noise. The cookies upstairs are pretty good tho.

Good location, public transport round the corner. Flat had everything you expect and host answers quickly. We struggled with the noise from the premises above .

Fantastic walk out the door location. Be aware that it has no windows in the bedrooms or living area. The only natural light is from the entry door. They have plenty of ceiling lighting though. Minimal noise from above. Only negatives are the AC/Heat system, it’s either controlled by owner, or just hard to figure out.

Amazing place, the host was also amazing, very clean, the hosts were very accommodating and communicated very well. The location is great, there are lots of walkable places in the area. I would definitely stay here again!

Great location, easy access to 506 and 63 bus routes, close to subway stations as well. The only downsides are that the place can be quite challenging to find (especially at night) , the host may not know everything about the place (I had to find the wifi information myself after failing to retrieve its information from the host the first night), and very loud music and footsteps early in the morning that woke us up. Other than these though, the place was very clean and had basic stuff needed for stay.
