Our stay at this rental was overall pleasant. Photos accurately reflect how this place looked. There was plenty of space for our group of 6 to spread out and enjoy. Beds were comfortable. We did make some suggestions to the owners to provide some more items to make stays more pleasant for future guests.
As an 'AirBnB' is was ok. I've had better and I've had worse. A generous 7 out of 10 Positive: Location was nice and quiet, rooms were spacious. A/C worked pretty good. Nice view of city from top of ravine. Generous coffee pods for the K-cups, but we could've used a regular 12cup coffee maker as well. Negative: Hot sun coming through the living room garage door, which needs a curtain. No towel hanger in one of the bathrooms. No ceiling fan in upstairs bedroom. Found dead tarantula on living room floor. Found a dirty and moldy drink glass somebody left at top of the loft bed. Tv couldn't be connected to WIFI for streaming. Oven control was stuck in lock mode and couldn't be used. Living room faux fireplace doesn't work. Music turntable doesn't work. Poor communication about when I was going to get 'a code' to open the door upon my arrival, turns out it was a physical key that somebody just dropped off and left. Found a few glasses and plates that had oily finger prints all over them inside the cupboard so we had to take them all out and ran them through the dishwasher. No instructions on how to heat and use the spa. And the backyard grill was nasty so we didn't dare use it. They could use a house number sign on the driveway because we ordered grocery by delivery and it was all dropped off in front of the house next door (bet this happens a lot).
Overall we had fun at the place however there were several issue we felt could be easily adressed. We were told a repair man was coming to fix the washer/dryer at 3:30 pm however check in was at 4 pm. They later decided it was a different place and not ours so they cancelled that. Then a few hours later once we were checked in a repairman showed up. We gave him access but then he realized he was in the wrong place. Later we realized a leak coming from the washer and notified the management company. They did fix it the next day however at that point there was a lot of water everywhere and you could see water bubbling up from the floor. The hot tub was on the older side and difficult to activate. We were given only one trash bag for our stay so once we filled one bag we didn't have any trash bags to replace it with. There also was no propane left in the grill. The location was great, and the place would be great if it had a few updates
The view was incredible.
Very beautiful place, and beautiful home. We enjoyed every bit of our stay. Everybody wants to go back!
