Red Cottage was beautiful and spacious location for our group! Be mindful that in the snow it is very difficult to navigate the roads leading up to the house even with a SUV.

My friends and I had an amazing stay in Livingston Manor! Our group of eight felt very comfortable and enjoyed everything the house had to offer. The pictures accurately represented the property, which is always a huge plus. Red Cottage communicated effectively with us and answered all our questions promptly. We will definitely be returning soon!!

Great stay for our annual trip with friends and kids! Lots of space, well stocked kitchen, great amenities (well stocked kitchen, hot tub, game room, towels and bath products), and peaceful location made for a fun getaway weekend. Would highly recommend and hope to stay again soon!

I had a fantastic stay at the red cottage with my group of friends. Lots of space to be comfortable and enjoy the peaceful surroundings. Flexible check in was very much appreciated. Place was very clean and the kitchen was well stocked. Lots of towels were provided, fire pits so cozy. Host was very responsive and friendly throughout

Special spot for friends and family to spend the weekend. Booking had some communication issues and the place wasn’t at the level of cleanliness as we were hoping but it all worked out.

Clancy House is beautiful and welcoming, with a cozy woodburning fireplace (and plenty of firewood), a well-equipped kitchen with everything from a pasta maker to a meat thermometer, comfortable beds and couches, plenty of modern bathrooms, a cedar hot tub, gorgeous private woodland surroundings, lots of different seating areas, fun entertainment options, and lots of space for relaxing with friends or family for a weekend. We almost never left the house, we were so comfortable and content there. The hosts were very responsive in trying to deal with a few issues that came up during our stay: they attempted to have a missing blow dryer delivered to us the same day, sent a plumber twice to try to fix a frozen pipe and a nonworking dishwasher, and when none of these issues were able to be resolved right away--due to factors admittedly beyond their control--they gave us a generous partial refund to compensate for any inconvenience. We would certainly return!

This beautiful home is well laid out and well-equipped! It was perfect for my extended family, including two kids (5 & 8). The area is lovely and the hosts were very responsive and helpful. We had a great time!

We had a great stay here as 2 families each with 2 parents and 2 small kids. Plenty of space for the 8 of us, loved having the high chair and pack n play available. Beds were comfy, kitchen well equipped and the wooden hot tub was a highlight of our stay. We’ll be looking at their other properties for future trips. Only improvements would be to have a second pack n play or some toys for little kids but totally not necessary.

Our family of 7 had an incredible time at this Airbnb! The house is spacious, cozy, and has everything you could possibly need. Minerva was incredibly responsive when we had a small issue with the heating system, ensuring it was quickly fixed. Overall, it was a fantastic experience. Highly recommended!

We had such a wonderful girls’ weekend here! The house was spotless, spacious, and beautifully maintained — perfect for our family getaway. The location was ideal — peaceful and tucked away on a private road, yet still close enough to everything we needed. We especially loved relaxing in the hot tub after a day out exploring. The kitchen was impressively stocked with everything you could think of, which made cooking together so easy and fun. Highly recommend this place for anyone looking for a relaxing, comfortable, and well-equipped stay upstate!

We rented this house for a girls trip and it was perfect… the location was close to great restaurants, breweries and hikes. The fire-pit and hot tub were a nice way to end each day and overall the house was spacious and beautiful. We did have an issue with a bear breaking into the trash container, but the owners were super responsive and had it cleaned up very quickly. We also didn’t have any luck connecting to the internet but it didn’t sour our stay at all. Very happy with this house and would rent again!

The house itself was incredible—spacious, beautifully maintained, and equipped with all the amenities we were looking for. It had everything we needed for a comfortable and memorable boys weekend. The location was perfect as well, giving us the best of both worlds: easy access to everything we wanted to do while still feeling like a getaway. Huge shoutout to the Red Cottage staff. Their communication was excellent—they responded quickly to every question and made sure we had everything we needed throughout our stay. Their attention to detail and hospitality really elevated the experience. Highly recommend, and we’d absolutely stay here again!

Perfect home for a group gathering 9 of us enjoyed our stay at this beautiful home just outside the charming Livingston Manor. Clean, modern, comfy with great outdoor space(s) surrounded by trees, fire pit, grill, cedar hot tub - highly recommend and would stay here again!

A group of us were in town for a wedding, and the location could not have been any better. We were a two minute drive from the venue - Arnold House - as well as a 5 minute drive from downtown Livingston Manor. The house itself was beautiful, clean and well-furnished. The grounds/outdoor space and hot tub were well-maintained, and the property was private. The hosts were also very responsive and helpful, even arranging for an iron to be delivered to us on the day of check-in! Overall, we really enjoyed our stay, and would come back if our travels bring us back to Livingston Manor.

We had an amazing Thanksgiving weekend at this place. The house was great and the kitchen was very well equipped. We can definitely recommend this house for a family stay. We will come back in summer to enjoy the private lake access.

We had a wonderful time at this property. The house itself is beautiful and the surrounding area is stunning. The location is ideal - just a few minutes’ drive from Livingston Manor’s downtown and very close to the Arnold House, making it easy to explore the area while enjoying a peaceful retreat. The hosting team was exceptionally responsive throughout our stay, which made everything seamless. We highly recommend this property for anyone looking for a relaxing getaway in the Catskills.

What a beautiful home! The hosts were very responsive. We had an amazing trip!

We had a great stay overall. Pretty disappointed about lack of lake access, as this was advertised as included when we booked & was a big reason we chose this place. 3 weeks before our stay, lake access was removed…they didn’t communicate that to us until the day we arrived, and their refund policy is only for 48 hrs after booking, so either way we were screwed out of that. Felt a little duped by that. Otherwise, it was a good stay and we had a great time. Almost zero kitchen basics were provided unfortunately, wish we had known that prior as we would have brought that with us - just 1 trash bag provided, no kitchen towels, no salt, etc. there is no AC upstairs and one of the ceiling fans didn’t turn on, we had to go find the obscure batteries it required ourselves. They were very communicative with us once we arrived tho. The big buck hunter also doesn’t work, but we didn’t care much about that.

Beautiful home. Loved everything about it.

From the minute we walked in the house, we could tell it was going to be great. All the furnishings were of high quality, with many books and games available to keep everyone entertained. The beds were comfortable and all the appliances (including WiFi) worked very well. We were surprised to find a few details missing, though- no curtains or blinds in the master bathroom (looking out over the hot tub!) on the main level, and in the basement bedroom, for example. We could not find a hair dryer or the extra towels mentioned in the online guidebook, and we found some occasional cobwebs on the walls. Overall great stay 😀

Definitely one of the best Airbnbs I have ever been to! It’s so beautifully furnished and decorated and has everything you need (even more than that) — very thoughtful! During wintertime, the surroundings look like a little white wonderland and are perfect for walks in the snow. During the night, one can stargaze in the hotpot thanks to the low light pollution. 10/10, would recommend!

Just enjoyed a wonderful weekend at the Clancy house! We arrived Friday evening in the dark after over a foot of snow fell. The driveway was plowed and all the walkways were shoveled, even out to the hot tub where we enjoyed morning mimosas while it snowed! The property is nestled in the trees, tranquil and secluded, a winter wonderland! The house was clean, comfortable, spacious, and well-represented in the photographs. The kitchen was well-equipped, and Wi-Fi was easily accessible. The location was perfect for us, centrally, situated between Liv Manor and Callicoon. My only recommendation is to provide floor mats at the front and back doors, especially during the snowy season. Red Cottage provided great communication before our arrival suggesting what to do in inclement weather, and was immediately responsive throughout our stay. They were very honorable hosts! It was a great experience!

The red cottage was very beautiful. Everything inside the house was good quality and nicely placed. They had enough of what they said they would have. They had enough space for everyone besides for one too bunk bed that was a little impractical because it was too close to the ceiling. Other than that everything was great!

We had an amazing experience at the Red Cottage! The house was perfect - each room was decorated beautifully and it was a great escape from the city. The location is very convenient, it is close to town but in a very quiet area which was perfect for walks when the weather allowed. We would recommend for anyone wanting to visit the area and hope to come back soon!

If you are looking to get away, this is the place to be. Quiet, beautiful house, town not too far away. The land is perfect, even when it snowed we were accommodated and the property was cleaned. The hosts are fantastic, not one bad thing to say about our stay here.

Everything was great about the place. Beautiful, clean, etc. Only thing is the driveway, patio, and steps were not maintained from the snow. Nothing was shoveled and all of the outside surfaces were very icy, which made it difficult to grill and get in/out of the house

Lovely, comfortable house that feels secluded yet is close to Livingston Manor. Comfy beds, plenty of nice bathrooms and a great open kitchen/dining/living room area. Especially enjoyed the wood hot tub. Hosts were responsive and helpful.

Private & spacious Very comfortable! Everything you need and more. Hot tub nice! The only thing is that we wish the lawn was mowed sooner. The little chairs around fire pit would have been nice with cushions. Will go back if available!
