Great Location! This is a beautiful apartment in a great location! Very close to all of the fun things to do in St. Joseph. The grandkids loved the Curious Kids museum and the playground by the beach. We would definitely stay here again.

Location, location! We had a wonderful stay, close to the beach and cute shops of St. Joe. We would stay again. Having teenagers made the location perfect.

Downtown And Fabulous! We couldn't have asked for a better location - shops, restaurants, activities and of course the beautiful beach. The balcony was a great place to relax in between. The kitchen was very well equipped - best I've experienced in a VRBO property. Beds/towels comfortable. There were 5 of us and there was plenty of space. Felt very roomy. There is a lot behind the unit that is all day parking so that accommodated our 2 vehicles without issue. Only warning is that the stairs to enter the unit are narrow and steep, so one of us (age 82) found it challenging. This stay was perfection - would highly recommend!

Overall we had a great stay and would recommend this place, especially for larger groups. We had two families with 3 young kids and there was plenty of room. The living area, kitchen, foosball table, balcony, and grill were all great, and the downtown location was fantastic—we never had to move our car during our four-day stay. Location was perfect! A few things could be improved. The home could have been cleaned more thoroughly (dust on vents/fans, dog hair on the couch, etc.). We also noticed flies and gnats inside throughout our stay, and the bedroom sliding door was difficult to open and close. Check-in / parking instructions could be clearer, and the parking website links were broken. The home also felt light on supplies for two families (only three rolls of toilet paper and no basic cooking staples like salt, pepper, or oil).

This is one of the most perfectly appointed places we’ve stayed at. We appreciated the thoughtful details and provisions that made our quick stay in St. Joseph that much easier. It was also much larger than we expected which was fantastic for stretching out. Clean, modern, and absolutely perfect location!! We would certainly love to stay again.

This property has the potential to be really great. It's in a great location right above the shops of downtown and just across the road from the walking path down to Lake Michigan. With that said, it really needs some love. Ceiling fans missing blades, fireplace doors falling off, broken outdoor table, broken umbrella, pocket doors off the tracks, etc. Such a big space with so much potential, but it has been decorated and maintained at the absolute bare minimum.

Second summer in a row that we have stayed at the Surf Shop! Great accommodation in a perfect location. Hope to be back soon.

Amazing location and a wonderful place!

Had a great time!

Great location, we enjoyed watching the sunset from the deck over Lake Michigan. As a family with an almost 4 year old and almost 2 year old, we found it safe for our little ones to play all around the unit. There were several niche/rooms to tuck the crib within the master bedroom that gave us an extra bedroom. The stairs that lead into the unit are steep but we managed A-OK. Unit was fully stocked with DW and washing machine pods, toiletries and tons of towels. Would stay here again.

We loved the fact that we parked the car and went days without using it. You can walk to the beach, shops, restaurants, etc. The loft had plenty of room for everyone. Lots of newer appliances and plenty of kitchen room. Great vacation! One important note--renters must be able to climb stairs. A narrow staircase with 18 stairs hauling up suitcases, cases of water, etc. It was great exercise but a bit daunting for anyone with mobility issues.

Long weekend getaway Stayed at Surf Shop for 4 day weekend getaway. The condo was well appointed and professionally maintained- had everything we needed. Location was terrific- right above commercial property in the heart of town (steps away from restaurants/shopping) and 7 min walk down to Silver Beach. Management was responsive to all questions. Will definitely stay here again for next trip to St Joe

Perfect get away The place was very clean, well stocked, and overall very nice place to stay. Beds and bathrooms were wonderful. I would stay there again.

Summer Getaway Overall we had a great little trip. I would recommend this place to anyone looking to park and walk around town. Great location and communication with property managers.
