Cozy nature cottage The location of the place is so ideal to all the restaurants, scenic points, hiking etc and yet far from noise enclosed in greenery and quietness. The check in and checkout process was really smooth. There is a gas station right next to the property and a coffee and food stand right opposite as well. The home itself is so cozy and wrapped up in nature. All in all loved the place.

Close to the town and supermarket and national park. Beautiful area. Negative: Kitchen was quite old an worn, and could have ben cleaner. Fairly close to the highway so in season there will be traffic noise.

A wonderful getaway at Lake Huron. Positive: The house is amazing, spacious, well kept and in a great location. It’s a perfect mix between facilities accessibility and privacy and peace. The house is a 5-minute walk form the downtown of Tobermory and a few-minute walk from a supermarket. It offers a parking spot in the driveway. The back porch offers a wonderful relaxation space. It’s basically in the forest so you can expect visits from chipmunks or squirrels on the porch. The nights are perfectly quiet with the darkest, star lit sky. Upstay (the property mangers) were super helpful and responsive to all our questions. I wish we had more time there than just the 2 nights. I would absolutely book it again. Negative: The house was generally clean, but there were some cobwebs or dust on the shade or near the ceiling fans. It could be cleaned a bit more thoroughly.

This was a very cozy cabin in the woods. Great place to stay. Vey close to downtown and easy walking distance to Tobermory. Could not see neighbours to the left or right. Everything was as expected / advertised. Good communication with host. Had issues communicating through app (not hosts fault).

The place was all it was advertised to be. It was big, with cathedral ceilings making it seem even bigger, and with the appearance of being newly renovated and with new furnishings. My wife and I stayed two nights and enjoyed the nearby town and attractions. I highly recommend Amanda and Brix's home away from home.

The property was nice, but need work to address the main bathtub problem, and please be there when the client need the s Positive: Nice nature setting around the property, beautiful and clean out side! The kitchen got almost all things we need for preparing dinner! Nice to have washing machine and the dryer! Negative: The jet bathtub dated need replacement, the knob setting for the shower “missing the handle bar” that hard to adjust the shower setting! The shower tub missing the 2 slideling doors, we had tried the jet setting and the high pressure shot out left and right out on the floor and the toilet paper roll got soaked wet too, where was the doors??? We have to spend the time to clean up the floor after this incident, we never have to do such thing on a vacation cleaning the wet floor, i was upset! The master bathroom and the kitchen’s hands soap was near empty (about 1 cm), the one in the master bath was stinky, we asked the host to come in to replace & refill on Monday morning before 9:00 but later around 1:30 pm we got the answer, the team will not refill the supply until we check out next morning 10:00 am, so why bother doing it when we no longer needed? The dishwasher not even working and we can only used to dry the dishes out! The fiance also not happy and said the carpet in the living room smell too and she probably right! There was’t any coffee for us even though the have good coffee maker, and the green tea we had to threw out because the expired date back 2016! We 2 people couple and paid 2 nights for $1,123 for the 2 night stay Sunday- Tuesday, we think the more was not well spent on this property, we wont return as we did paid good amount but it not worth staying here!

Amanda & Brix’s home is perfect for a family or a small group visiting Tobermory and the national parks! It’s so conveniently located right off of the main road — but still very quiet and private — and within walking distance (less than 10 minutes) to town where all the restaurants, shops, and boat docks are located. The grocery store is just down the street as well. The home is open and spacious with back patio/deck access for relaxing in nature. There is no air conditioning, so we felt the summer humidity a bit, but the ceiling fans kept us cool and comfortable. The hosts were eager and quick to respond to us for any questions. Overall, we had a very enjoyable stay and would recommend the home to other visitors!

The Cosy Cabin was in a very convenient location with privacy and it also had a unique mix of artistic decor elements. The hosts were friendly and prompt at communicating with us about our enquiries and also about the local weather conditions and places to visit. The Cosy Cabin worked out well as accomodation for our family get together. It was comfy and warm. Thankyou very much.

I book corporate travel so had employees booked in here. Communication between all three parties was easy and I was happy to hear everyone was very happy with the stay.

This cabin was a true oasis tucked just off Tobermory's main drag. The bold purple exterior hints at the thoughtful design throughout—from the lovely kitchen and living room to the two bedrooms plus additional sleeping nook. Everything feels impeccably designed and welcoming, with furniture so comfortable you'll find yourself lingering longer than planned.A couple of bathroom quirks to note: one features a giant tub with shower but no curtain, while the other has a corner shower with an aging nozzle that could use updating. The upside? That second bathroom boasts a deluxe bidet, so there are trade-offs depending on which bedroom you choose.The outdoor seating area is gorgeous, and while we didn't use the fire pit, it looked perfect for evening gatherings. The kitchen has everything you need, though the coffee maker and tea kettle desperately need descaling—they've definitely seen clearer days.Communication was mostly good, though responses to our questions took time. Check-in and checkout were smooth, but having the cleaner parked outside at 11am sharp felt a bit rushed.Don't miss breakfast at The Hungry Hiker right across the street—we went both mornings and the food was phenomenal. Las Chulas, just steps away, is also delicious for dinner.In a bizarre twist, the gas station next door is only open for five hours a day...so gas up when you can.The nitpicks are minor compared to this cabin's charm and prime location.

Loved the quiet and the views. Just what I needed. Positive: I appreciated how clean and well-stocked everything was. It felt like the owners really care. The location was great—close enough to everything but still felt private and relaxing. Negative: The internet was a bit slow.

Top notch cottage in a gorgeous area! Positive: Absolutely perfection! Lots of comfortable seating areas to enjoy your group and the gorgeous nature completely surrounding the cottage. Kitchen is completely stocked. All in working order. No complaints whatsoever except wish we could stay longer! Negative: No complaints!

It was nice and cozy to stay. Each bedroom has own washroom so it was perfect for 2 parties Positive: The location of the property was perfect to reach to Harbour and Supermarket. Also, The backyard was the terrific to hang out even at night with a firepit. Negative: There was no AC so the interior of the house was a bit humid and hot. Water volume was not enough but I guess it might be the same in the neighbor. And the cleanness can be better. Generally it was ok but some spots need to be better like the water tank(Too dirty) of the coffee machine and coffee pot.

Great little getaway cabin Positive: Cute cabin in a great location walking distance from town. Very clean and comfortable and has a lovely sitting area and fire pit out the back.

Beautiful cabin, feels remote but very accessible. Easy to walk to town, shops, restaurants or the parks and lake. Will definitely stay again

Positive: The cottage is a perfect getaway if you are looking for a relaxing break. Negative: There are not many things that we did not like, barring for some minor quirks. One point worth a mention is the lack of a wardrobe or hangars to hang one's clothes in the Master B/R. Unless we missed it there was no ironing board and electric iron.

Lovely area, comfortable premises - but contact with real person to get access and answer questions. Positive: Very comfortable. I liked the art, especially of the flowerpot. Negative: Getting in was a major hassle. I wasn't able to access the website initially, then, when I did It would not take the upload of my driver's licence. I was not happy, sitting in front of the place and not being able to get in. I also never did get the T.V. operating. A Welcome Book would be useful - with information about local attractions, restaurants, as well as how to operate the T.V., coffee maker (it was not just a matter of putting in the water and coffee and pushing start, as I was told - the machine had no "start" - but I did eventual get it to work).

Positive: Super home that was fully outfitted. Very comfortable beds with lovely linens & towels.

Ras le bol de payer cher pour un logement et de ne pas trouver de l assistance en cas de probleme. Positive: La maison et son environnement Negative: En arrivant a 21h, nous n avons pas pu rentrer, les piles du digicode etaient a plat. La centrale a ete incapable de nous aider, aucune personne avec une clef etait disponible. Le barbecue ne fonctionnait pas. La centrale etait au courant et allait envoyer une equipe de reparation....la semaine d apres !!!

The place is nice though we had issues with mosquitos inside the house; it seems that the broken window next to the front door was letting them in. The internet was really slow.

It was actually better than advertised! Absolutely nothing to complain about, we enjoyed our stay greatly.

A wonderful place to stay. Negative: The dishwasher and fireplace did not work. We were unable to control the temperature and the property got very hot at times in the afternoon.

The office space was delightful and made for a comfortable reading area filled with games. We really enjoyed the deck and fire pit, It made for a super pleasant stay. We loved staying in this pretty cozy purple house. It was easy to get, it had everything we needed, and easy to communicate with Rob & Linda. I wish we stayed longer to enjoy the house and the area.
