Charming Basement Suite Near Toronto Top Spots — Guest Reviews

I paid for two nights and we couldn’t get there because of weather conditions. So we stayed only one day. The next day check out was at 11. Me and my twin babies were sick so badly. I asked host to let us stay few hours more, because our flight was at 9 pm. He allowed us until 12:30. But I needed more. He said he triad to help, but couldn’t make with cleaning company. I am sorry but I don’t believe it. Yes, there rules, but where is humanity? I need to stay out with two sick babies until 7 pm. I mean nothing is matter in this world anymore. Everyone wants money, nothing else!!!!

My family and I stayed for the weekend. Place was easy to get into and very clean and comfortable. Had everything we needed and the convenience of two bathrooms was great! \nThank you for having us

Staying at Nova, Juno and Ryan's place was great. We were in 5 people and all of us had a great time. They were able to accommodate an early check-in and were so responsive to our conversations. We would definitely be back.

Expérience gâchée par des propirietaires hautains et sans remise en question Positive: Localisation, grand logement, plutôt équipé pour un petit séjour Negative: Pas de parking, impossible de prendre le logement à temps, de plus les codes d’accès envoyés n’étaient pas les bons, nous avons du attendre jusqu’à 22:30 (dont ma grand mère de 72 ans). Les personnes au téléphones étaient hautaines et n’ont pas tellement cherché de solution. Heureusement que nous savons être persuasifs. Le logement semble vieux, il semble qu’une rénovation ait été faite sur du sale.

The place was clean, cool, and comfortable. It was a welcome respite on a 90 degree day. We slept so well because it was cool and dark. It was the perfect location for a family reunion because everyone had their own room to retreat to. And having 2 bathrooms was so luxurious for 5 people. The neighborhood was nice with coffee shops, bakeries, and grocery stores within easy walking distance. And the kitchen was beautiful and pristine. I cannot recommend this place highly enough!

Ryan è stato un Host gentile, amichevole e super disponibile. L’alloggio si trova in una buona posizione, centrale e ben collegata. Presenta tutti i servizi indicati dall’annuncio, al nostro arrivo era tutto perfettamente in ordine e il check in è stato semplice e chiaro. L’unica nota negativa è che noi viaggiavamo in 5, ma l’appartamento era dotato di utensili da cucina solo per 4 persone. Nonostante ciò, consiglio questo appartamento!

El lugar estaba impecable de limpio, el internet muy rápido, el agua calienta rapidísimo. Es amplio y cómodo. Los anfitriones amables y accesibles. Si regreso a Toronto definitivamente me volvería a hospedar con ellos.

Génial Positive: L’emplacement pour les attractions, la proximité de la gare Union et des lignes de tramway . Les deux salles de bain. La communication avec les hôtes. Très propre. Les instructions pour l’accueil. Negative: Il manquait une chaise de cuisine et quelques assiettes pour les repas pour notre famille de 5.

Nova and Juno are first class hosts and are excellent at what they do. A very clean space was waiting for us upon arrival and all listed amenities matched the description. They were responsive and proactive communicators and ensured our stay was the best it could be. Amazing experience!

Positive: 5 people stayed without any problems, two bathrooms, the host was excellent and available, every recommendation.

We had a lovely stay at the flat! There were 4 of us and it easily accommodated us and having a well-stocked kitchen was so nice. There were so many small touches that made us feel right at home and we were able to recharge at night because of the quiet building and surroundings. The transit was easy to navigate and we were close to many lines. Finally, I appreciated how quickly our messages were responded to and we felt that anything that came up would be managed quickly. Cheers! Toronto is a vibrant and beautiful city and we will return again!!

A great convenient place that was very clean and well-organized! Positive: Conveniently located between streetcar lines, quiet neighborhood, very clean accommodations with thoughtfully stocked items. (For example, was grateful for the laundry detergent provided after I spilled coffee on my white dress.) Hosts were responsive and condo felt secure. Negative: Living room was separate from kitchen, felt like another bedroom (would be good if someone was staying on the sofa bed)

Positive: This is a full 2 bedroom and 2 bathroom, with an extra living room and eating area. Was not expecting to have so much space. I was able to get free parking in front of the building for 2 whole days - unheard of in Toronto.

Great location, within walking distance to Eaton Centre and Distillery District. Easy acess to public transport also. Hosts were very helpful and friendly. Home is clean and well equipped.

What they offer is very accurate to expectations, very well located in downtown and super respectful host! Definitely recommended for families

Excelente espaço Positive: Excelente espaço, ficamos em 4 adultos e 1 criança, os dois quartos mais o sofá cama na sala nos atendeu muito bem e o fato de ter 2 banheiros é excelente. Negative: Pequenos detalhes como a porta do forno que não fechava e um problema no chuveiro de um dos banheiros, mas o anfitrião foi sempre muito prestativo em resolver os problemas e até fez um reembolso de um valor como forma de se desculpar. O maior porém é o preço, bem alto, mas pelo que percebi isso é geral em Toronto. Uma sugestão, como eu havia informado na reserva que estaríamos em 5 pessoas, poderiam ter disponibilizado 5 cadeiras para sentarmos a mesa.

Was a perfect location and unit for what we needed on this trip. Hosts were extremely quick in replying to questions and although going to the parkade to get to the unit seemed strange at first the actual unit was awesome and just as advertised on the listing, parking also worked out fine with the $5 lot just down the street. Highly recommend this gem

Parking was ideal especially in Downtown Toronto! Clean spot and extremely convenient location.

Positive: Bus runs in the same street, and Stations very near. Security is very good. TV Room separated and Isolated helped to reduce room noise while some sleep others can watch TV. Negative: There was no Blender, we like juices and couldn't make them.

Great place. Overnight street parking in the neighborhood needs a permit and you will be ticketed if parked.

This place was amazing! This was our first time using Airbnb and I fear nothing will ever compare to how great of an experience we had. It is in a nice neighborhood, the building is all renovated and very chic! The pictures are exactly as what the suite looks like so there was nothing to worry about. The hosts were so helpful and answered all our questions. 10/10!

Just book it! This little apartment has two king beds and two bathrooms, a sleeper sofa and FREE parking! A RARE find! You will be just a short 15 min walk to the Distillery District along with many restaurants/breweries. The full time residents are very friendly and helpful. The hosts are attentive and quick to respond anytime we had a question. It’s a perfect place for a little getaway. This is a basement apartment with concrete floors so don’t forget to pack your slippers. We will definitely stay again next time we’re in Toronto. 🙂

Excelente opción para hospedarse en Toronto. Positive: Muy cómodo, ordenado y limpio. 2 recámaras, 1 sofá cama, 2 baños, cocina, centro de lavado, comedor 4 sillas. Muy cerca del centro y lugares de interés. Propietario siempre al pendiente de que estuvieramos cómodos. Negative: No hay ninguna queja sobre el sitio. Perfecto, todo funcional!

Nice quiet, clean, new place. This place has been the most organized and had the best host communication out of all the places I stayed. I highly recommend staying there.

Very nice place to stay. Had a washer and dryer in unit, we only stayed the weekend but would be helpful on longer stays. We were able to find parking right away nearby for free. Easy walkable location to nearby places, and a Tim Horton's very close. Instructions with videos on how to get in, and turn couch into bed were extremely helpful. And the two showers with overhead faucets were both convenient and felt amazing after a long cold day. Would definitely recommend.

A comfortable escape from every day life a mini staycation Positive: The suite was extremely clean! Negative: I checked in late and lost time I could have spent in the suite and that was my fault the staff were extremely accommodating my request for early check in but I was delayed with work.

Tuvimos la fortuna de llegar al alojamiento de Ryan en nuestra primera visita a Canadá en general y a Toronto en particular. El alojamiento está ubicado a tan sólo unos kilómetros del downtown de Toronto y en una zona con buena conexión en transporte público. Nuestro anfitrión nos recibió personalmente, fue muy gentil y amable en todo momento y se aseguró de que estuviéramos cómodos antes y durante la estadía, ya que la unidad estaba muy bien equipada de antemano con todo lo necesario y también mantuvo comunicación permanente frente a algunas dudas que surgieron por nuestra parte. Espero que para otra visita a Toronto el alojamiento todavía esté disponible, ya que nos volveríamos a quedar sin pensarlo dos veces! ☺️

It was a good place. A little cold. The host uses a third-party service, which required providing personal information outside of AirBnb, to get access to the door code and wifi network. We did not love that and when we asked for another option, the host did not accept.

Muy bien sitio para hospedarse en Toronto. La distancia justa para estar en un lugar tranquilo pero no muy lejos de las principales atracciones. El apartamento es muy amplio, 2 baños, y varias habitaciones. La cocina es grande y cómoda. Todo lo necesario para tener una excelente estadía. El anfitrión fue muy atento con nosotros. Fue un placer!

The unit was very nice, clean, and offered enough space for 4-5 guests. The king beds in both bathrooms were a plus and comfortable. The 2 separate bathrooms with showers also a plus. Thank you for the cold filtered water in the refrigerator and coffee pods. Host was very responsive and proactive.

Positive: Molt nou, net i còmode. En Ryan molt atent i sempre interessat pel que ens podia fer falta i pel que podia millorar. Fins i tot va buscar i ens va deixar un adaptador per endolls europeu, que ens va fer un gran servei. Els llits grans i comfortables. Negative: A nosaltres no ens va molestar, però l'aparell de l'aire fa una mica de soroll. Suposo que ens en vam adonar perquè el pis està en un efifici i un carrer molt tranquil i silenciós.

Prima appartement. Wij hadden geluk met een parkeerplaats voor de deur. In de buurt een leuk koffietentje met goeie koffie en broodjes. Het centrum is ongeveer 10 minuten met een Uber, goed te doen dus.

belle appartement, propre et bien équipé. la climatisation etait un peu trop fraîche à notre goût. l emplacement en sous sol est surprenant, mais on l oublié très vite.
