Stayed as a couple visiting Ottawa. The apartment is well equipped, particularly the kitchen (loved the coffee machine!) and big enough for two of us. Very clean throughout! It's a 15 minute walk to Central Ottawa and is very quiet. Anna was very proactive in making sure we had everything we needed and all was ok (it was). Great value and recommended!

We had an amazing stay at this Airbnb in downtown Ottawa. The location was perfect and made getting around the city incredibly easy walking distance to a lot of different things. The size of the space was just right for a couple, comfortable, cozy, and exactly what we needed. The only small downside was that the upstairs neighbours could be a bit loud at times, and you could hear them walking around. However, this didn’t take away from our overall experience. We’re so grateful we chose this place and would absolutely stay here again. Highly recommend!

With our dog, this place was perfect for parks and walking. We also had a really short drive to visit friends in Gatineau.

We had a beautiful stay at Anna’s place. The apartment was spacious, clean and well stocked with everything we needed. We had to book the stay last minute and Anna was very accommodating and responsive. The location was perfect, close to Byward Market and the neighbourhood felt peaceful and safe. It is hard to imagine a better value stay for visiting Ottawa!

Great stay- super responsive host, and very central and clean unit!

We enjoyed staying at Anna's place. She was great with communication leading up to and while we were there. There were some nice touches for our arrival with some snacks and toilet amenities provided. Some of the streets when heading downtown can look a little dodgy but the people leave you alone. We walked everywhere from her apartment. The only negative was that bed has changed from what is advertised and is now a bed on the floor. The apartment apart from the bed is as shown and is very modern with a big TV.

Anna’s place had all the amenities required (and more), ranging from towels, soaps to makeup remover, laundry detergent and even toothbrush set. We greatly appreciate the effort put in to make the space so comfortable and homely. Anna was also extremely responsive. When we could not identify the unit, she swiftly called us upon contact; even though it was 9pm! Great stay!

If you need a place to crash in Ottawa... Anna is the best host to book with ... And I do mean the BEST ...

Apartment was beautiful! Exactly as the pictures showed. It had a full Kitchen, including any needed appliances. Everything was clean and in working order. She was super responsive and helpful through the whole trip, I would absolutely stay with her again.

Anna, was an amazing host. She checked on us often to ensure we were doing well and enjoying our stay. She was very responsive and is a sweet, caring person. The apartment is on a beautiful street in a great area. Walkable to all attractions and across from a beautiful park along the river. Anna was extremely accommodating and I highly recommend staying at her home. We will stay again next time we are in Ottawa.

It’s exactly what was listed. Close to Byward market, nice bed, the only thing I didn’t like was having to ask the host to turn the AC down more. The host was very responsive and did turn it down, but I prefer being in control of temperature. If you’re looking for a solid place to stay in a cool area this is a great spot

Started off entering the place with very dirty stairs outside. No blankets for the couch - couch needs to be steam cleaned or discarded as smelled badly of urine. Our socks were filthy from walking around the floors which indicates it was not cleaned very well Bathroom fan doesn’t work Bathroom sink was plugged - we got it unplugged No air movement in the place and the window didn’t have a screen so felt unsafe leaving it open. The fan that we found in the closet had a broken leg so wouldn’t stand up No dishwasher soap Not allot of toilet paper (ran out) We’ve stayed at dozens of places, but never in Ottawa. Not sure if this is Par for Ottawa?

Anna's home was as she advertised, very clean with all the amenities we needed for our stay. The location was perfect. It was a quiet neighborhood within walking distance to the Byward Market, historic buildings and fun excursions.

Very cute spot close to the center of Ottawa.

Wir waren nur für eine Übernachtung dort. Es war ein ruhiger Ort. Wir hatten nur etwas Schwierigkeiten die Wohnung C zu finden, da sie von außen nicht zu erkennen war. Die Küche kann ich leider nicht bewerten, da wir sie nicht genutzt haben. Wir konnten gut schlafen im Bett. Das Bad war schön hergerichtet. Große Dusche. Mit Waschmaschine und Trockner. Ich fand es super, das auch 2 kleine Päckchen mit Waschmittel bereit standen. Wir haben aber nicht gewaschen. Anna war immer zu erreichen und hat sofort geantwortet. Wir wollten unser Auto nach dem Check out, etwas länger auf dem Parkplatz stehen lassen. Nach Rückfrage mit Anna hat das super geklappt. Der by ward Market ist zu Fuß gut zu erreichen, dort gibt es auch viele Restaurants. Wir waren sehr zufrieden mit der Wohnung. Im Eingangsbereich ist der Boden etwas abgenutzt, aber das hat uns nicht gestört. Es gab Wasser und etwas zu knabbern in der Küche, das fand ich ganz süß.

Anna’s place is great, super good location, close to the city, attractions, river, and Quebec. Great place to base ourselves out of for a few days exploring Ottawa. We were able to walk everywhere, and not touch the car once. Bed is MASSIVE, I had to send out a search party to find my wife every morning :-). And the bed was super comfy. Highly recommend Anna’s place.

Located in a quiet community, easy to walk to market or to take public transportations. Anna is a nice host with quick response for any questions. Room is clean with all equipments ready. We will not hesitate to book again when we visit Ottawa next season!

Anna's place was a quiet, welcoming spot. I was there for work, so it was great to have my breakfast and come home for relaxing. It was in a nice residential part of town. And a nice walk to all my meetings/receptions in the Market to Hill. The place had everything you need. Kitchen was equipped. Bathroom was spacious. Bedroom is tight (and bed is low to the floor, so if you have mobility issues just note that.) But no complaints!

This is a great basement unit if you’re looking for a quieter experience. Anna is an excellent host. She was really proactive and responsive. Her instructions were clear and the house was easy to find and access. Overall a comfortable experience that’s value for money.

Anna's place is really well located for walking to many of the main attractions of central Ottawa and very close to ByWard market area for heaps of eating options. it's in a very quiet and peaceful enclave of old Ottawa and was super clean and well equipped. Anna is a very responsive and helpful host.

Lovely apartment in good location! Accommodated three people well for Ottawa Race weekend. Walkable to central Ottawa sites - did not need our car. Very clean and has everything you need for a break away!

Appartement spacieux et bien équipé, idéalement situé Positive: L'appartement est spacieux et lumineux, et très bien équipé (machine à laver, séchoir, four, micro-ondes, frigo, congélateur...). La salle de bain est moderne, et le lit est grand et très confortable. L'appartement est situé dans un quartier résidentiel calme, à environ 15 minutes à pied du quartier animé de ByWard Market. L'hôte était très réactive et disponible. Nous avons passé un excellent séjour ! Negative: Le paumeau de douche n'est pas amovible. Les rideaux de la chambre ne sont pas complètement occultants à la lumière du soleil.

This is a beautiful, cozy space. The host had all the amenities I needed for my stay. I really felt at home. It’s great place to stay if you have things to do at or near uOttawa. The host was also very responsive and gave very detailed instructions, which is very helpful when navigating a new place. Will definitely stay here when I’m back in Ottawa.

A functional and well-located space, close to the park, river, and the market. I appreciated the thoughtful extras like coffee and small touches that made the stay easy and comfortable. It should be noted it's a basement apartment but nice private access and very quiet location to sleep in.

The host is incredibly responsive - and quick. Impressively so. I want to clarify a point others made about the stairway to get in. It’s only a couple steps and easily accessible if able bodied. Some described the stairway as much more intimidating than they are. The place is as described and has all necessary amenities . If you are a light sleeper be aware there is an apartment above. I was disappointed that there wasn’t recycling or compost facilities. These services are offered by the city and so I expect to be able to separate recyclables, & compost, for collection. In 2026 I am not going to throw recyclables in the garbage (and so I took these to work).

Anna was a great host and we had an amazing stay at her place. She communicated very well and answered our questions quickly. The place matched the listing and had everything one could need! We enjoyed the location as it was close to everything but also peaceful and private, and we felt safe in the area. If we ever return to Ottawa would definitely book this listing again.

It was idea for us! I was close enough to downtown where I attended my conference and my partner got to enjoy the local tourist amenities by walking. Byward market was near with great choice of restaurants!

Went out for a walk, when i got back the battery died for the door lock so was unable to get into the Airbnb for a little while. The host Anna was wonderful, she offered to accommodate any special requests we had sent someone to bring anything we needed during our stay, laundry packs, fresh creamer, k cups, and gabage bags and even gave me free parking for a night, along with a generous discount on our stay for the inconvenience. Caring, very quick to reply to any questuons or requests, beautiful place, Spotless, washroom was huge and had heated floors. Looked just like the pictures. Would stay again for next visit to Ottawa.

Je vous recommande fortement ce logement. Le centre ville d’Ottawa est à quelque pas. Il est possible de s’y rendre à pied et la balade permet de visiter le quartier qui est très beau et calme. Vous avez le centre commercial Rideau tout proche et plein de restaurant très intéressant. L’hôte était très attentionnée, elle répondait très rapidement ce qui a amplement faciliter notre voyage. Le logement étais très propre et bien équipé. Ça correspondait exactement à nos attentes. Très bonne expérience. Merci beaucoup.

Positive: ....very very clean though and quiet. Negative: can't see outside, basement apartment....bed is too low to the floor, I'm a senior so I slept on the sofa....BTW, maybe add a toaster ??????

This apartment is not well maintained. The curtain rod in the bedroom fell down the 2nd day. The biggest disappointment was the loud noise of the drier which is approximately 5 feet away. We were unable to use the t.v. for 3 hours because of this. The third and final thing was that there was nothing in the ad to say that parking is first come first serve and costs extra. This is our 10th AirBnB stay and by far was 1 of 2 bad experiences. Needless to say the ad was misleading not to mention that it was a little stressful to try to find available street parking on a weekend. In the end they did offer the 2nd of our last night to park for free but I had to argue with whomever I was speaking with at AirBnB which took time and cut in to the short stay we had to see our son who studies at of O.

I definitely recommend staying here! Positive: Great location walking distance to the market. We were lucky to found free parking on an adjacent street which was very convenient as well. Kitchen well equipped as well as the bathroom. Comfortable bed and sectional. Negative: I had to message the host about the garbage shed being locked but that’s all.

We arrived at Anna's place after a day of rain. For that reason, the back and side of the property leading into the basement was extremely icy, slippery and flooded. Despite mentioning it, the property remained treacherous for the duration of our stay. The unit does not include parking but for $20/night I was able to arrange with Anna to ensure we could park in the back. The location is conveniently located just 15 minutes walk from Byward Market and is quite easy to get to. The unit is one of 4 in the building and as a result of the location being in the basement, at times it was very noisy with tenants above, as well as hearing the meter and pipes all night. The unit was quite small but very clean, including anything you need. Bed and pillows were not verycomfortable. The unit was quite warm but Anna was able to adjust the temperature from outside the unit. We were hoping for a late checkout and asked Anna 24 hours in advance of our checkin but unfortunately it was not an option.

Anna was lovely and responsive. The place is on the ground floor, so if you are easily triggered by street noise or worried about safety it might not be the best bet. It was a lovely little space to hang out in w my service bunny and very close to downtown/Parliament Hill. The neighborhood is safe and quiet. There is a little store called Donna’s Friendly Shop in the hood. I forgot a bunch of stuff and got it back quickly. Nice place!

Nice play to stay that was available on short notice. The apartment was pretty cold when we got in and the thermostat in the unit is not functional, so we had to contact the host to turn up the heat from elsewhere in the building. In the meantime there were space heaters available in the closet that we used, so it was not a big issue.

Anna is an amazing host. She was extremely responsive and very clear in her communication. The Airbnb had great furnishings and was renovated well. Everything was as described and the location was absolutely phenomenal. I would definitely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone looking to explore Ottawa

Загалом усе виглядає дешево та неакуратно — більше схоже на підсобне приміщення, ніж на комфортні апартаменти. Двері до санвузла мають велику діру, яку намагалися відремонтувати, але зробили це неякісно. Вікон лише два, вони дуже маленькі та потребують ремонту. Ззовні видно щілини та ознаки плісняви. Опалення через теплу підлогу працює повільно та важко регулюється терморегулятором у коридорі. Доводилося користуватися переносним обігрівачем. Стеля дуже низька — приблизно 2,10–2,15 м, майже на рівні дверей. Це створює відчуття тісноти. Ліжко старе, матрац низької якості, спати незручно. Під ліжком значна кількість пилу та сміття — прибирання проводиться поверхнево, що може бути шкідливо для здоров’я. На кухні посуд і столові прибори різні, без комплекту, виглядає випадково та дешево. У санвузлі ванна та унітаз нові, без зауважень. Проте умивальник встановлений криво та пошкоджений, вода стікає дуже повільно (ймовірно, частково забита труба). Тумба встановлена нерівно, що виглядає неакуратно. На стінах видно неякісно замазані отвори та сліди ремонту. Єдиний плюс — це розташування, майже центр міста. Не рекомендую зупинятися тут, поки власник не зробить повноцінну реновацію.
