We love Silver Beach and wanted something close by to stay in for a few days. This was our first time staying here. The home had a very cozy, lake house feel. We loved that it was so close to the pool for the kids to enjoy. The week we stayed, it was in the 90s and when we entered the home, it was pretty warm! There are two window air conditioners upstairs, but nothing downstairs. I worked hard to keep the home cool by keeping the shades drawn and fans going downstairs. The bunk beds are definitely for kids only. They are very hard, with a thin mattress to lay on. Comfortable isn’t how I’d describe the beds or furniture. Although the seating fits the home, it’s wood and hard! The private beach was a let down. There are alot of rocks along the shoreline before you reach the water. You almost need water shoes just to walk out into the water. The host was extremely responsive! There weren’t beach towels upon arrival and they had some brought to us the next day. We’d probably stay again!
