Location, amenities, and activities are EXCELLENT. Clean, inviting beach, pool, playground, and pond. Quiet, peaceful setting with a family friendly vibe throughout the neighborhood. Convenient location near several local shops and restaurants with more available a few minutes up the road in St. Joe. Unit itself is quaint but needs maintenance. Noticeable musty smell that lingers on your stuff after you return home. Lighting inside is terrible adding to the dingy vibe. Carpet is old and stained/sticky in some areas. Fridge had mold/mildew growing on the door seals. Lots of beach and bath towels were available, but it would be helpful if a drying rack was provided. Some dishes were crusty upon arrival. Kids refused to drink from provided cups because the musty smell had permeated into them and tainted the taste of liquids. No nightstands in the bedrooms, so nowhere to set phones/glasses/books/etc. Back door is hard to slide. Will definitely return but probably to a different unit.
