Chalet #80 is part of the iconic Chalet on the Lake resort, set along the Lake Michigan shoreline and surrounded by natural beauty. This 2-bedroom, 1-bath A-frame retreat comfortably sleeps up to six guests and is ideally located near family-friendly amenities.

Chalet #80 features a classic A-frame layout with warm wood interiors and an inviting open-concept living area designed for gathering. The living room flows into the dining area and a fully equipped kitchen, creating a comfortable setting for shared meals and downtime. Sliding doors lead to a bright screened porch, offering a relaxed place to unwind with views of the surrounding grounds.

Upstairs, both bedrooms are thoughtfully arranged to accommodate families and groups, offering flexible sleeping options in a comfortable setting. A full bathroom with a walk-in shower is conveniently located on the main level.

Notes from your host

Please be aware that the Chalets are duplex style. This rental is for one half of the duplex and guests will share a wall with the occupant of the adjacent unit.

To ensure a safe and compliant stay, all guests are required to complete identity verification prior to check-in. A valid government-issued photo ID will be collected and verified, and the name on the ID must match the credit card used for payment. When applicable, a background screening may also be required as part of the booking process.

All guests are required to review and sign Juniper Holiday + Home's Guest Occupancy Agreement prior to check-in. While we understand that events can affect your trip, it is our policy to stick to the agreed-upon cancellation policy in the listing. We recommend purchasing vacation travel insurance if you suspect you may need to cancel your reservation.

The minimum age to rent this home is 25.

Pets are not allowed at this property.

A non-refundable Accidental Damage Waiver is included with your reservation. This waiver covers accidental damage or loss to the rental property caused by you or members of your party, up to a maximum of $2,000. This plan does not cover intentional acts, gross negligence, or willful misconduct.

Out of respect for our staff and their families, we do not permit check-ins or check-outs on Thanksgiving Day and Christmas Day. Thank you for your understanding.

“Location, amenities, and activities are EXCELLENT. Clean, inviting beach, pool, playground, and pond. Quiet, peaceful setting with a family friendly vibe throughout the neighborhood. Convenient location near several local shops and restaurants with more available a few minutes up the road in St. Joe. Unit itself is quaint but needs maintenance. Noticeable musty smell that lingers on your stuff after you return home. Lighting inside is terrible adding to the dingy vibe. Carpet is old and stained/sticky in some areas. Fridge had mold/mildew growing on the door seals. Lots of beach and bath towels were available, but it would be helpful if a drying rack was provided. Some dishes were crusty upon arrival. Kids refused to drink from provided cups because the musty smell had permeated into them and tainted the taste of liquids. No nightstands in the bedrooms, so nowhere to set phones/glasses/books/etc. Back door is hard to slide. Will definitely return but probably to a different unit.”
