Step inside Chalet #56 and feel instantly at home in its warm, wood-paneled interior. The open main level features a comfortable living room with plush seating perfect for relaxing after a day on the lake, flowing into a fully equipped kitchen with full-size appliances and ample cabinet storage with everything you need to cook and gather. A cozy dining area with seating for six sits just off the kitchen beneath the soaring A-frame ceiling, creating a welcoming space for shared meals. One of the chalet's standout features is the spacious screened porch, furnished with lounge chairs and a dining table, ideal for leisurely mornings, evening card games, or simply soaking in the fresh lake air.

The two upstairs bedrooms tuck neatly under the A-frame roofline, each with knotty pine walls, ceiling fans, and a cozy cabin feel that guests love. Both rooms include a queen bed alongside a single bunk bed, offering flexible sleeping arrangements for families or groups.

Notes from your host

Please be aware that the Chalets are duplex style. This rental is for one half of the duplex and guests will share a wall with the occupant of the adjacent unit.

To ensure a safe and compliant stay, all guests are required to complete identity verification prior to check-in. A valid government-issued photo ID will be collected and verified, and the name on the ID must match the credit card used for payment. When applicable, a background screening may also be required as part of the booking process.

All guests are required to review and sign Juniper Holiday + Home's Guest Occupancy Agreement prior to check-in. While we understand that events can affect your trip, it is our policy to stick to the agreed-upon cancellation policy in the listing. We recommend purchasing vacation travel insurance if you suspect you may need to cancel your reservation.

The minimum age to rent this home is 25.

Pets are not allowed at this property.

A non-refundable Accidental Damage Waiver is included with your reservation. This waiver covers accidental damage or loss to the rental property caused by you or members of your party, up to a maximum of $2,000. This plan does not cover intentional acts, gross negligence, or willful misconduct.

Out of respect for our staff and their families, we do not permit check-ins or check-outs on Thanksgiving Day and Christmas Day. Thank you for your understanding.

“We really enjoyed the location of this property. The private beach access, two pools, basketball and pickleball courts were great amenities for our family, and we love being so close to St. Joseph and South Haven. We have stayed at other units at the Chalets, including last year, and unfortunately this particular unit didn’t feel quite as well maintained or organized as our previous stay. The space felt a little dated, and the kitchen could use some additional organization and attention to stocking the basics. Overall, we still had a nice stay and really enjoyed the location and amenities on the property. We love the Chalets and would definitely consider staying here again, but we hope the unit gets a little more attention and upkeep going forward.”
