Central Corktown Apartment for City Explorers — Guest Reviews

Despite these minor drawbacks, we had a very pleasant stay and would happily recommend this apartmen Positive: The apartment is in a great location, making it convenient to explore the city. It was also a nice touch that everything we needed for the first few days was provided upon arrival, including tea, coffee, sugar, and water in the fridge. These thoughtful details made us feel welcome and helped us settle in comfortably. Negative: Some of the furniture was a bit worn and could use an update. The air conditioner was quite noisy, and the soundproofing could be better, as noise from outside and neighboring areas was sometimes noticeable.

Nice and roomy place to stay with lots of amenities. Easy to find and a smooth check in. Restaurants and groceries within walking the distance.

Great

The apartment was so clean and exceptionally beautiful.

Great place!

After dozens of ABNB stays and 4 in the past month, this is one of the best. Cassie, Brix and Brandi have it together. They are making ABNB and Hamilton proud! Keep it up!

Good bnb

Thanks for a great stay! The place was clean and comfortable.

It's as clean as it could be. It's definitely an older building, judging by the architecture, trim, doors, etc. My only problems were that the bathroom was a tight fit for somebody who is tall (I'm 6'1"/186cm) and also finding an electrical outlet close to the bed or anywhere convenient to charge my phone or watch. Older buildings are hit-or-miss when it comes to electrical outlets, but you have to know that going in. Not the fault of the hosts. They were great. My stay was very quiet but I didn't spend much time there other than to sleep and shower. Price was a good value and it's fairly close to what I was visiting for. Street parking was close and there was always a spot available when I needed it. I would recommend it if you just need a place to stay for a few days.

Clean cheap super nice place 10/10 would recommend

OMG this is I swear this place wow wow wow Wonderful, comfy and hella clean

The apartment was exactly as advertised. It was clean and had the essential appliances. Host was extremely responsive. Good restaurants in walking distance. I would reccomend

The stay was excellent, in a quiet environment ideal for work away from home and office. Negative: The parking aspect can be relooked at.

Great place, annoying host! Positive: Apartment is clean, comfortable and good location, walkable to downtown ...... good value for the money Negative: Check in process and communication with the host. From the moment we made the reservation we start getting annoying messages and reminders every day from the host to fill up the "boarding pass" to be able to check in. You need to make a photo of your ID (front and back), you have to make a "selfie", you have to sign a lease agreement and you have to pay $150 damage deposit that will eventually be returned to you up to 14 days after you check out and all of this for a 2 days stay........ and plus the codes on the the doors are not working properly as you have to punch the codes numerous times to be able to get in!!!! before we left we got a check out instructions: garbage to be bagged, furniture to be put back in place etc,etc so we do not pay extra cleaning costs...... all of this made our stay in this place "unforgettable"

I feel like I as a home it was so comfortable i travel all the way from the USA.I enjoyed every single minute I was there if am coming back to visit I would love to visit back

we recently stayed here as we were in town for a baseball tournament I think it was to be excepted for the price the AC was super nice a little oddly laid out but we were just looking for a space to sleep really!

It was very cozy and clean on the inside

Very Kind and accommodating. Very clear instructions with details that made everything a breeze

Would definitely stay here again, place was exactly as advertised easy to find and bed was comfortable, would recommend it if your in the area and need somewhere to call home for a night

The value for money is very good. The apartment is comfortable, and everything works very well.

Positive: Close to lots of amenities Negative: Very clean, easy access.

Great safe place for Down Town Hamilton. Would definitely stay again. 👌

Great stay!

Everything was great.

great place, had a very nice stay!!

Amazingggg amount of space!! Beautiful and private unit, definitely luxurious for a solo traveler and I wish I had gotten to stay longer than one night!

If I could give more stars I would. Had the pleasure of staying at Brix & Cassie’s home last weekend & everything was beyond my expectations. Place was clean & as pictured. Neighbourhood was quiet. Check in was simple and easy. And the host were fantastic & very communicative. They will check in & make sure everything is well also. The place felt like home. Will definitely recommend & will rebook in future

Logement propre accueillant et tranquille Super 😊

We had a great stay! The place was clean, comfortable, and exactly what we needed for our visit to Hamilton. The host was super kind, helpful, and easy to communicate with. Everything went smoothly from check-in to check-out, and we really appreciated how accommodating they were. We would definitely stay here again!

Very nice and large apartment with lots of space and everything I needed

Last minute, easy. super responsive and very friendly and professional. Booked this for my niece who flew in for an interview. We booked last minute and the price was such a great value, booking was quick and easy. The host was so sweet and responsive. They didn't have a long list of check out things that needed to be accommodated. Quick, easy, comfortable and cozy. The closest thing to feedback I have is the front door sticks a bit but they had pre-written instructions warning how to use it so communication is 10/10. Very happy and appreciate the cozy and convenient book.

Negative: Homeless and zombies everywhere AC noisy Bed uncomfortable

Great place absolutely gorgeous inside and worth every penny

Perfect for what I needed! Great hosts.

No geral, ótima acomodação e boa experiência. Os anfitriões são excelentes: práticos e solícitos.

Le logement était propre et était bien aéré j’ai vraiment aimé mon séjour !

Would stay again !

Is good place quite

Very clean and modern airbnb one of the best I’ve stayed at

Very good

Great home and quiet area Definitely will book again if I’m ever back in the area Very responsive and communication was on point definitely recommend

Great place to stay , host was really responsive. Would definitely recommend

Very responsive host. The place was clean and well put together. It’s a nice place to stay overall.

Hosts were very welcoming and communicative. I had no problems with my stay, anyone would be happy to stay here a while.

Host was amazing but there were last minute changes and the option we were given was terrible place. The bathroom had very very strong bleach smell. It was very warm in bedroom, portable ac unit offered was not moveable. I was forced to change location very last minute or i was offered refund while i was already on my way there. May be the original place we booked with Nelson would have been better but the place we were offered was terrible.

This place was absolutely perfect for my stay. The space felt cozy, private, and very comfortable, exactly as described. The host was really nice, welcoming, and respectful, and replied super fast to every message. Overall, the experience was amazing I’d definitely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a great spot!

Clean and spacious. Worth the price. Hosts are very friendly as well!

Great place and communication

We had a lovely stay! The unit was as expected, clean and comfortable. The hosts were great! While we didn't need anything, they checked in to ensure our stay was perfect. Andy

Always great!

Great place for what I needed.

A pretty ideally located place in a quiet neighborhood. It was perfect for our purposes, which were just a conveniently located place to stay overnight. We did find the apartment a little too warm (AC couldn't really service the entire space, even on this relatively mild night) and it was hard to get the sleeping areas sufficiently dark for proper sleep (the outdoor lighting was quite bright and hard to block out). The place worked for us, but I would not have wanted to stay more than one night even at the very reasonable asking price.

Good and felt home

The stay was super nice. The only down fall it was warm and the portable ac unit was so loud and didn’t really cool the place down unfortunately but overall happy with the stay!

Very clean, easy communication with hosts but a little warm in the summer months otherwise everything was amazing

Amazing host was always helpful when I needed would definitely book again

Great stay! The place was nice and comfortable, and everything went smoothly. Thank you for hosting us!

It was a lovely place to stay in as a solo traveler! Very convenient for check in, quiet and calm neighborhood, and Brix and Cassie were very responsive and friendly. Adored it, it was very spacious and gorgeous views for the sunset.

Excellent if you need to be centrally located as the unit is great value Positive: It was very good value for what I paid. The unit appeared to be recently renovated. Very functional layout. Negative: The outside and area were not appealing. The hallway was drab and could use upgrading. It was a great surprise how new and neat the unit was once I entered which made it very enjoyable!

We had a wonderful stay here. The family felt at home, and I'll recommend it to anyone visiting Hamilton.

Great place great host!

Thank you for hosting me! This place is a great escape from the noisy city, very peaceful and calm where you can feel home ! Very clean and equipped space, very recommended

It’s really comfortable for me Positive: Everything Negative: I have nothing to say

overall a really enjoyable stay. The bed was gorgeous, and all fresh and clean linen. the hosts were helpful and responsive. the kitchen was absolutely spotless. could do with some more cutlery and stuff like a sieve and grater. lovely decor. the only things to point out was there was not enough light in the living room. no overhead light, just one dim lamp in the corner. there should be a blanket for the living room to make it feel cosy. we stayed during a heat wave, and the AC just wasn't strong enough. we asked for a fan because the kitchen and bedroom was boiling. generally a lovely place to stay

Cant say enough great things about Brix and Cassies place. We will always choose their place when its avaible. Love the service we receive always 5 star!

Excellent stay in Hamilton! Parking was not an issue and the apartment was a great value overall.

Such a lovely place! The location was perfect—close to everything we wanted to see but still nice and quiet. The decor was charming, the bed was comfortable, and it really felt like a home away from home. 10/10 recommend!"

Love it here!

Always great!

Thank you for your hospitality. We have enjoyed our stay!

Amazing host!!

Feels like home! Positive: Everything! Negative: It could get a little warm in the bedroom at times but otherwise no complaints

Pleasant, well-appointed & all supplies adequate & good bus routes. Positive: Great to downtown, comfortable, clean & quiet Negative: Main security door felt flimsy Appearance of mice at night - 2 sightings on different days

Always great to stay here. If there have availability we will book. We have stayed here well over 10 tens and will keep coming back

Nice and Cosy Positive: They provided all the essentials....dish washing liquid, tablets for the dishwasher, paper hand towel, even black pepper, salt and cooking oil......it's a perfect place for a short stay. Negative: The common areas of the building gets a thumbs down, but as soon as you step into the apartment, everything is pretty much as pictured. Parking is a little hit and miss.....thank God this trip there was a park on the street in front of the building every time we came home.

Great stay, super easy check in and out, good location

I had a wonderful stay! The place was exactly as described clean, comfortable, and well-maintained. Check-in was easy, and the host was kind, responsive, and helpful throughout my stay. The location was convenient, and I felt safe the entire time. I would definitely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone visiting the area. Thank you for the great hospitality!

Very peaceful and clean environment. I really enjoyed myself
