We enjoyed our stay All kids age 3 to 11 found what to do and were excited over the house, the basement and the comfy rooms The house is exactly as the pictures show and is a great value for money It is well stocked and beds and bedding’s are phenomenal All small details like lighting , heated toilet seats and allll the electronics you can imagine in the kitchen - make this house a home from min 1 We stayed 4 days and couldn’t have stayed more It is close to supermarkets and has access to cafes and kids - attractions Team is responsive and friendly

We really enjoyed the solitude of the Celestial Cabin. We were able to spend the week there, we had great family time with games to play, sight seeing in the area during fall colors, and close to some really nice dining. The hosts were fantastic, their responses to questions we had were answered promptly, and the house was set up and supplied with everything we needed. Great place to stay and I am looking forward to the opportunity to spend time there again in the future.

The house itself is beautiful and well appointed! Beautiful bathrooms, and kitchen with stunning views!However, there was an out of control fly infestation throughout the house…From the moment of our arrival we were swatting flies left, and right, and there were dead flies all over the floor and some even on the beds. It was beyond the normal “a few bugs in the house”. We are country people and enjoy the outdoors… but this was really unacceptable and made our stay very uncomfortable when flies were landing on your food the kitchen counters, the bed, and especially on us as we were sleeping.In addition, I was thoroughly disappointed that there was no propane in the outdoor fire pit… as I had planned s’mores and marshmallows with my son, and we never got the opportunity. He was extremely disappointed.We paid a lot of money to spend the weekend at this house while visiting our son at college and had hoped to make it our home away from home for future visits, but we thoroughly disappointed.

A beautiful home with the most spectacular view. Amazing star gazing. Beautiful bedding and bathrooms. Really enjoyed a relaxing weekend disconnecting. Try Wayward lane brewing -the best place in the area!

Fantastic home!

Our family of 5 stayed at Celestial Cabin for two nights and chose it because is was very close to Howe Caverns Caves which was on our travel itinerary. House was as described, spacious and peaceful. Host was incredibly responsive. Loved our stay. Thanks!

Stayed on July 4th weekend . Stay was peacefull and quiet - as we wanted it to be , enough space for 6 of us, cooling was great - very important during heatwave , bedding nice and comfortable . Kitchen fully covered our needs . Views from the deck are nice. Will be glad to stay again , if in the area. Thank you for the great hospitality .

The cabin was wonderful—we had a great time and would consider coming back! The skies and wraparound porch were fantastic. We really enjoyed our stay and were very comfortable.

We had a wonderful stay at your property this past weeknd. The beautiful scenery and the peaceful atmosphere was very relaxing. The cabin was exactly what we were looking for with plenty of space and comfortable furnishings. The deck boasts an amazing view as well! Hopefully we can visit again.

Make sure you prepare in advance for ticks which are an unavoidable reality in that area. My pet is on a prevention treatment so he was fine but I found a tick on my nephew after a walk in the woods.The home was comfortable and tastefully appointed with every amenity and a well stocked kitchen that included essentials like spices, oils, etc. a rare thing in vacation rental. The views were stunning from sunrise to sunset. My host was considerate, accurate and timely, ensuring check out and check in were easy and low effort.The Celestial Cabin is a respite worth every penny.

We enjoyed a great Memorial Day Weekend here. The house is beautiful, matching photos and description. Weather was cold and rainy the weekend we were here, just enjoyed the house, cooking, playing games, watching movies and relaxing with our family. Would stay again, great house.

We are return guests of the Red Cottage and we love staying here when we come to visit family. The property is beautiful and peaceful. The house is always clean and inviting. We will be back again!

Wonderful house with a large living space anchored by the beautiful wood stove hearth. Kitchen and bathrooms were well appointed and the entire home was very clean. Beautiful view back off the main road feels like you are in the woods.

The place was beautiful in a very private setting. The house was stocked well and came with everything you’d need for a stay. We loved our visit and will be back again soon!
