Great place to stay! Apartment was comfortable and waking distance to lots of great spots. Noise definitely travels in the building but we are used to that at home so it didn't bother us too much. Hosts were very responsive and helpful. Would definitely stay again.

The space was centrally located and within walking distance to downtown. We enjoyed the nearby shops. It was also clean. Host was very friendly and responsive. However the space did not match the photos on airbnb. It appears there are a few rentals in this complex so be aware you may not get what you see. Also, the 2nd bedroom did not have a window which meant it was stuffy and unsafe in terms of egress for fire safety. Some basic amenities were missing, such as dish towels and lamps for the rooms. Otherwise the space was fine. We felt safe and it suited our purpose.

We had a great stay. The whole experience was very smooth and stress free.

This place was amazing, there was a festival with the windows closed it was quite. Restaurant everywhere. Just watch for parking. The pizza place is great too 😋

This place was a great location! I flew into Toronto and it was walking distance from the train stop, super convenient! There were lots of shops and convenient places within walking distance. The place was clean and as described. It had everything you need! Check-in was super easy. They even included videos to walk you through it in case you need it. The stand out part were the hosts! They were amazing and super responsive, as well as very friendly! I appreciated them working with me and letting me in a little bit early after having a red-eye and not getting any sleep. They were so friendly and accommodating and checked periodically if everything was okay or if we needed anything. Amazing hosts! I recommend! Thank you!!

We had a very lovely stay at Brix & Bree's boutique apartment. Lots of restaurants and shops in walking distance. The apartment looked like the pictures and was clean and comfortable.

Nice clean place. Was easy to find. The bathroom did start leaking while there but they were quick to respond with solutions. Appears the leak is from upper unit beyond their control. Our first night the neighbours upstairs were awake all night making lots of noise but the apparatus earplugs in the bathroom that we utilize. The space is small but it was perfect for our stay! I’d definitely stay again in the future.

Positive: Liked how clean it was. Negative: - by-law officers showed up due to improper insurance - pictures were similar to my team mates that rented a unit on the first level but my unit wasn't really how we expected it with furniture and bedrooms - A/C unit wasn't working - water pressure very low for sink/toilet - smelt like sewage

Not a terrible place but inconvenient for lots of reasons, improper photos, not what was advertised, by-law officers came by at check in and told us the renter’s were not legally operating the rentals, improper insurance.

Nice and cozy place. A lot of choice to eat. The only thing I will suggest is add the address on the listing and make sure we use the house picture. Other than that nothing bad l. I will go back. Bree is very responsive. Keep up the good work. Great customer service.

A great stay overall! Really appreciated the extra toiletries and comfortable beds. One bedroom has AC which is great for those guests who need it. Full kitchen with plenty of cookware. When an issue with the door lock arose, the host was responsive and helpful even late at night. Could not recommend it enough.

Bed room door needs lock from inside. And need to fix water pressure was very slow in bathroom shower and faucet. Rest was good place was clean. I found one overnight parking but downtown area was full of crack heads. Parked on street and got parking ticket. If you have elderly person there was two story walk.

Negative: Ils m'ont chargé des frais pour des cubes (dans les prises de courant) que nous avons pas prises. 15$ par cube !! Ils m'ont chargé une serviette 25$ que nous avons "supposément" volé C'est dans un coin de la ville vraiment pas propre et non sécuritaire. Des itinérants intoxiqués partout devant l'appartement. On c'est même fait attaqué.

Positive: La propriétaire de l’établissement était très chaleureuse et accueillante. J’ai pu la contacter facilement, ce qui était très pratique. Je suis ravie d’avoir séjourné ici.

We had a great stay overall, and we really appreciated the host’s communication and willingness to help when an unexpected issue came up during our stay. Although we experienced a few maintenance concerns, the host was responsive and understanding, and we appreciated their effort to address the situation. The place was comfortable, and the location was convenient for our trip. Despite the unexpected issue, we had a good experience overall and appreciate the host for being accommodating.

Unit is not as good as you see in photos. Only got two portable air con inside which is noisy and did not cooling . Uncomfortable to sleep. Bath room basin very small. Inside there is special smell like enclosed space .

Overall, we enjoyed our stay. Great location and spacious for our family. Positive: The location was walking distance to the concert we attended We found a parking lot located around the corner from the apartment. Negative: There are no elevators, be prepared to walk up a couple flight of stairs to get your apartment.

The apartment was clean and comfortable, and check in details were very clearly communicated. With the extreme heat during our stay, the AC units kept the main living space and one bedroom very cool. The AC didn’t quite reach the second bedroom, though it ended up being okay for sleeping with the fans provided. Overall, great place and location, and would recommend and stay again!

The place was overall clean and as advertised in a vibrant, fun neighborhood. The only downside was one of the rooms did not have AC and was very warm during a heat wave.

My group and I had a great stay at this airbnb. the host responded to questions within minutes. Our only issue was the instructions were a little out of order but we figured everything out. The apartment location wad nice being in downtown and pretty close to the West transit go and public parking. We had no issues getting around and enjoyed our stay!

Aside from the noise from the neighbors last night, Brix & Bree's were really welcoming and easy to communicate with—I highly recommend them.

Positive: I stayed here for work with a colleague, and we booked the two-bedroom apartment. It was absolutely charming—clean, cozy, and located on a beautiful street with plenty of great restaurants within walking distance. The check-in instructions were clear and easy to follow, which made arriving stress-free. One of the best parts was the location. It was only about an 8-minute walk to where I needed to be for work, making it incredibly convenient.. Overall, I really enjoyed my stay and would happily book this apartment again. Negative: As with many city apartments, there was some noise from people walking upstairs, dogs barking as they were taken out for walks, and occasional traffic. Thankfully, I travel with a rain noise machine, which completely drowned out the sounds, so it wasn't an issue for me.

This was exactly as advertised, clean and comfortable.

Four of us stayed at Brix & Bree's, and the only downside was the comfortability of the beds/fold-down couch. It is very close to the downtown so parking is more limited unless you pay, but we knew that going in, they were very upfront about the limitations on their listing. Overall the place was clean and neat and very nicely decorated! I probably wouldn't recommend someone sleep on the couch if possible but would definitely recommend it as a 2-3 person stay!

Brandy, Brix & Bree were incredible, especially Brandy! She was quick with her responses when we needed something, and very flexible. The unit was pristine, and looked like the photos. Another excellent stay with Brandy, and she was phenomenal ! I couldn’t recommend her Airbnb more.. when you’re in Hamilton, stay with Brandy!! You won’t regret it, I promise.

Unfortunately there was a domestic dispute that ran though the night on the first night of our stay. The walls are paper thin, we could hear every word. While the pics weren't identical to the unit, the unit was very similar. The location was convenient. The beds were not comfortable, and the kitchen could use a few supplies. I can't say I felt super safe in the building.

Good place to stay, hosts are quick to respond, comfortable

Nous sommes très mécontents. Le logement était très sale à notre arrivée (cheveux, surfaces non lavées, ménage insuffisant) et une forte odeur d’urine était présente. Il y avait aussi des trous dans les fenêtres, ce qui faisait qu’on entendait constamment la rue. De plus, certains éléments annoncés n’étaient pas conformes : il n’y avait pas de machine à café et le 3e “lit” était en réalité un petit divan simple impossible à utiliser pour 2 personnes. Nous avions réservé pour 6 personnes et une personne a dû dormir ailleurs. L’îlot de cuisine semblait également dangereux et instable. Finalement, le logement ne ressemblait pas du tout aux photos de l’annonce. Nous avions l’impression de ne pas être au même endroit. Nous demandons donc qu’une compensation soit considérée pour cette expérience très décevante.

The place was overall ok, clean, quiet and perfect location for what we needed. the space was decent although wish there had been more closet space (one room just had a bed so we were living out of our suitcase which quickly gets messy when you have 2 kids) when I requested extra hangers we got them instantly. the biggest problem was the staircase leading up to the apartment. I had specifically messaged the host to ask for an apartment on the main floor as I will be with 2 children so needed an apartment I could easily get in and out of with a stroller, to which she replied "The unit is located on the first floor, making it easy and convenient for you to access." it was the opposite of easy and convenient. to get to the first floor you have to climb a narrow flight of over 20 stairs. on top of that I ended getting an apartment on the second floor which meant I had to go up yet another flight of stairs which with two kids under 5 and a stroller was extremelt difficult.

overall the place was all we needed for the weekend for an acceptable price. For anything you need or concerns the host Positive: the place was very clean, staff was quick to respond and the room had everything you really needed. Negative: i wish that the back entrance was accessible instead of the front entrance all the time but for a short stay it’s all you need.

Great walkable area, airbnb was up to expectations. Hosts were responsive and accommodating. However, many outlets in the room were so loose we couldn't use them, just somethung to be wary off.

Positive: Everything was great, from comfortable to having everything you need to location to staff. Negative: Only thing we weren't very happy with was the attitude of the cleaning lady. Last time we stayed in the 1 bdrm we gave her a ninja airfryer, a stainless steel kettle and a Sony Playstation and even cleaned the entire apartment before we left, yet a bit over a week later we stayed at the 2 bdrm and she was quite rude. My wife was sitting in the back while we waited for an Uber, 3 of them canceled on us so took a while, I left for 10 minutes to go get us coffee and sandwiches from Ola bakery and while I was gone the cleaning lady kicked my wife off the property even though she was at the bottom of the back stairs waiting for me. The cleaning lady said people were complaining about my service dog that is also trained as a protector specially if I'm not around he makes sure my wife is safe but no one other than the cleaning lady went by the back and he doesn't attack he just barks to notify someone approaching. Anyway it won't keep me from staying there again but someone should tell the cleaning lady that she only has that job because people stay there.

Brix and Bree’s place was alright but didn’t match the photos and we were looking forward to the photos shown. Instead we got a run down place and the shower wasn’t the greatest

We enjoyed the location. It was vibrant and walkable. The restaurants in the area featured music and other activities which was nice to participate in.

Great location, right next to downtown and easy to get around.

Worth the price Positive: Location was good, parking was a hastle Negative: tv remote did not work - buttons broken & you couldn’t select specifics like enter a code for streaming, shower could use a shelf for shampoo & soap, parking was a hassle, a lot of homeless people on the street

Unfortunately, I had a terrible experience in this unit. The unit is not sound proof at all. The noise from the bar downstairs plus the next door neighbours fighting all night, yelling, coughing, etc. You can hear everything. There is no AC in the unit...so the auir gets muggy. I opened the door in the bathroom just to have it filled with cigarette smoke from the other units. There is exit that goes towards the back, the smell is pugnant in thise stairs. The front lock combination does not work half the time. To make matters worst, the neighbours were having some problems where phisical and verbal abuse was takling place. With the help of the hostess, we had to call the police twice in one night. Needless to say, the experience was not the most desirable, even if the hostess did the best she could.

Check in and access to the apartment had clear instructions and was easy to follow. Great location as it was close to restaurants, shops, bakeries, cafes. Free parking is a bit tricky to find on weekends, but not impossible. Kitchen had great amenities and ample pillows and towels for usage. Walls were thin and hallway conversations can be heard, but earplugs were provided. Stairs are a little narrow if carrying luggage. There is a lack of a view and natural lighting from the windows, but it didn’t take away too much from the value of the apartment. Thanks for the stay!

A comfortable and secure spot in Hamilton with plenty of coffee shops and restaurants nearby. You will have to contend for a parking spot however. I would gladly stay here again!

Great place to stay in downtown Hamilton. It was perfect for our needs and Brix and Bree were great at communicating with us to make sure we had everything we needed. Would definitely stay there again.
