Incredible location Walk down the stairs and immediately on the beach. Convenient chairs and umbrellas provided which was awesome. Just down the road from Alys Beach and all the great restaurants and shops. Condo itself is perfect for a family of 4. First floor was another added convenience. Nicely decorated and all the comforts needed for a few days.

Great location and condo! We enjoyed our week stay at Blue Tide. It had everything we needed and loved being so close to the beach. Few things to note- - Beach area is only for Blue Tide guest which was so nice. We had plenty of room for several families. -One parking spot per condo and no real overflow parking - There are stairs to get to the beach. Lots of stairs. It would not be good for anyone that has issues with stairs

You should have told us! This was my dad's last vacation, ever. He's 83 and can barely walk at this point. I purposefully selected this condo due to its proximity to the house I rented for my family and it being ground level and beach front, hoping that my dad could sit outside and enjoy the view with his grandkids while they played. The day we arrive - it was a hazardous construction zone. The entire back deck and yard was torn up and unusable, we couldn't even open the back shades without seeing all contractors right outside the door. Instead of sitting on the deck, we had to lug my dad up and down the stairs to enjoy the outdoors and he was thoroughly exhausted each time. It was truly a nightmare and SO sad that we weren't able to enjoy the back deck AT ALL. The calendar should have been blocked during construction by the owner. The management company should have been courteous enough to have called us prior to our reservation to let us know - I would have booked an entirely different condo so my dad could enjoy his last vacation with his grandkids. This was just so upsetting and unfair to do to. We received a 50% refund of 'hush money'....but that was NOT the point. You have forever ruined a final family memory. Very sad and inconsiderate, I tear up every time I think about this. People travel to create memories, not just to pay the management company/homeowners. So now you made a few bucks....but ruined someones final memory. Next time do the right thing!

Poor management We planned our family spring break and brought along our 83yo grandpa for his last hoorah (he can barely walk). I booked a ground floor beach front condo for him to easily sit outside while his grandkids played near him. This trip was destroyed when we arrived to a construction zone. The beautiful beach view gone, deck torn up and construction workers all over. He couldn’t even open the curtains. Just awful. We had zero heads up that this was going on. I was in tears for my dad - sad that his last trip of life turned out like this. The calendar for this condo should have been blocked during construction. But hey, at least the owner and management company made a few bucks. Greed - people don’t care anymore. The courteous thing to do would have been to let us know so we could have booked elsewhere.

Great place to stay! My family absolutely loved this location! We are definitely planning on booking again. Short walk down to the beach and great views!

Great Location This condo was perfect for our small family. It was located right on the beach and was super close to all of our favorite 30A shops and restaurants. It was so nice to sit on the porch, drink coffee and listen to the ocean. It was clean and had everything we needed. The beach chair service was an added bonus!

Fantastic vacation spot Located in a very quiet neighborhood, beaches are not crowded even in high season. This was the perfect spot for our family vacation. Also, property management was very responsive when we had an issue with an appliance. Highly recommended.

The view!!!!! Awesome view! If you’ve traveled to 30A before- you know that from Seacrest all the way to Blue Mountain Beach can get super steep. Thus place got bad reviews for the steepness. For those wanting flat/no stairs to the beach- try Inlet, West end PCB, or Grayton.. We have bigger kids, so the stairs to the beach didn’t bother us at all. That view is totally worth it. Beach chair guy was awesome! (Other Mama’s orange chair company). Furniture needs to be updated in den, and there seemed to be a smell. I wished I’d had a sheet to throw over the couch so that it felt clean and a candle to burn would be smart. Most families would think nothing of it ;). We stayed on the beach whole time, so it was really fine. The beds were cozy. Parking is tight. Construction is completely done upstairs, but the ceiling is thin. It sounded like elephants were up there. Keurig is in a bottom cabinet. I was sad to find it my last day. This place got some bad reviews, but the management company sent messages constantly to make sure we were good and didn’t have questions. This was a very last minute rental. Everything is booked solid down here, so if you want to go to the beach- Just book it. It’s not perfect, but we loved that we found this-probably due to a cancellation- and snatched it up.

August 2020 Stay Our 7th summer on 30a; first time in a condo and not a private home. We couldn’t have asked for a better experience. The pictures represent the property well. The views are spectacular and we saw multiple dolphins every day. The beach was not crowded and always clean. I was nervous with 3 kids that the pool wasn’t that spectacular, but who needs a pool when you’re steps away from ocean?! The pool was totally fine, though...and we were the only family ever there in the evenings. We WILL be return customers next summer!! Don’t hesitate- this spot on 30a is perfect!

Super disappointed ruined vacation. Really disappointed weekend. We chose this location for a quick getaway & problems began as soon as we arrived. Small trailer parked over the line next to our assigned parking space. We learned very early the next morning that the trailer was there bc the condo directly above our bedroom was being renovated. Construction started at 8am on New Years Day... The property manager was excellent & did what they could but our 3 day weekend was shot after the loud construction and following problems. The place itself needed some updates. That awesome pic of stairs going down to the beach... well those stairs lead down a literal cliff. Easily 50 foot drop from the back of the condo to the beach. TV didn't work. Internet dropped in & out a few times the first night. We just left the next afternoon & drove home.

Holiday Get Away Perfect location and an excellent view.

We enjoyed the views from the back of the Airbnb of the ocean. You can leave the doors open and hear waves as well. Being on a private beach is great for giving you some space to enjoy the beach. Batten services was amazing to have on the beach with us. He is very polite, informative, and rents kayaks and paddle boards to enjoy on yellow flag days. There are many amazing places within biking/walking distance. Highly recommend this place!

Amazing stay by the beach We had a blast at Blue Tide. Even with a double red day, with the proximity to the Chill and Rosemary beach we were able to use bikes and go everywhere, avoiding the crazy traffic. The chair service is superb, and Frankie is a gem. The home is beautifully decorated. Maintenance came quickly to repair an issue. My only complaint is that the text that we could check in early came on Monday, when we had already been in the condo since Saturday, and we had spent the afternoon trying to keep busy until check in, when had we known to check emails- we would have seen the code to get in early.

Very good Please advertise that you have to go down 42 steps because I had invited my brother that is handicap and there is not way that he would it made it to the beach

Beautiful Week What a gorgeous condo for my birthday week. The place was lovely and the access to the beach unparalleled. Been coming to Blue Tide for 28 years. Having children running and stomping upstairs was the only frustration and hey, they were excited too. Thank you!

Girls Trip We loved the proximity to the beach as well as to highly sought after areas of Seaside and Rosemary.

A Hidden Gem in a perfect location! My friends and I had a great visit! The room was much cleaner and cozier than we imagined it would be and the location is perfect access to Rosemary, Alys, Seaside, the Hub, and The Old Florida Fish House. Can’t wait to go back one day!

Honeymoon Getaway My husband and I absolutely loved our time at this condo. It was perfect for the two of us as we celebrated our honeymoon. The walk out to the beach was so convenient and easy! We loved being able to walk out of the back of the condo to see amazing beach views. The location was perfect for traveling to Alys, Rosemary, & Seaside Beach. We will definitely be back!

Right in the beach with the most beautiful water! The condo was very very clean and comfortable. We were very happy with our stay

The beach condo was wonderful and worked well for our family of 4. We loved the expansive view from our perch above the water. There are a couple flights of stairs to get down to the beach where a pair of chairs, small table and umbrella were waiting for us each morning. We really appreciated not having to schlep all that down there. The beach itself was lovely. There’s a great coffee/ wine/pizza joint with live music across the street and a bike path out front that made exploring the area so much easier than getting in a car. Highly recommend this place!

The location was amazing. The house was clean and a really nice size. Love that we had our own little patio spot. The only issues we had was the listing for the beach chairs and umbrellas was wrong and we had to call several different people to figure out how we could accommodate all six of our people. Thankfully the actual business was on the beach and helped us out but Scenic Stays needs to update their amenities and be up to date with who they’re doing business with because that was exhausting to try and get everything together before we got there (and it wasn’t even resolved until we got on the beach). Also, us having six people, which the listing says it accommodates, two rolls of toilet paper is not enough and it should reflect how many guests you allow to have in your unit. There was also no salt and pepper or coffee. Thankfully we brought our own. Another thing, all the locks on the bikes did not work. So we didn’t have access to the bikes. That should be figured out. So just little things that got annoying. Other than that, being in that area was very relaxing and nice. I would stay again and hopefully the owners are aware of these issues to prevent them moving forward.

Amazing place. Location was perfect, not in too busy of an area of 30A, but still close to the good restaurants in Alys and Rosemary. Incredible views of the ocean, clean condo, easy access to your vehicle where you have a designated parking spot for your condo! Great for my husband and I!

Excellent one bedroom condo right on the beach. Super comfy bed (hard to find in most rentals). Check in and check out were a breeze. Only thing missing was warm weather! 17 degree wind chill on the day we left. I would definitely stay here again!

Great place, unfortunately run by corporate so get ready to sign pages for rental agreement and download an app/external link to connect better. It was a pain at check in

Great and convenient location! Pleasant stay. Clean. Love the easy access to the beach and pretty private. Only thing is, there is no lock from the inside to the front door. But overall it was just as the pictures listed.

Secret paradise! This is my 4th time staying in blue tide 8a. Love it more every stay!

Would love to stay here again We had a great time. It was relaxing and a beautiful place to stay. We loved the location and ease to get to the beach. We will miss eating breakfast on the back porch while overlooking the beach.

Great location on the beach! This condo was on the beach which was exactly what we wanted! The guest service was communicative leading up to the stay and responsive. There was one hiccup with communication, I did arrange a mid-week cleaning that never happened and there was no communication about why. The place was overall clean but the shower had extensive mold due to very poor ventilation and had missing tiles and moisture was just sitting in these areas. The bathroom fan barely worked and that would be an overall very inexpensive fix that could make a big impact. The entire unit smells of mold and has a musty smell due to poor ventilation or maybe the ducts need to be serviced. My husband is sensitive to mold and within 24 hours was suffering with severe sinus issues and allergy symptoms. We tried to limit our time in the unit, except to sleep. The checkout directions say to undress the bed, which we did, and I was appalled at the yellow stains all over the mattress bc there was no mattress cover. Made me feel icky after having slept on it for a week. So great location, but fair condition and cleanliness. I would not rebook this condo in the future.

lovely view and great beach We loved the condo mostly because of the convenience to the beach and the umbrella/chsir service that was included!

Broken Glass Door Location was great but the back door was broken and covered with Blue Tape, so the great view of the ocean was blocked unless you had the door open. I contacted guest services immediately after arrival and was told they were checking into it, but never heard anything back. The rest of the condo was great, but not happy that the view we paid for was obstructed.

Bad Communication and a Shattered Door that limited our view and didn't feel safe. The location was great and the condo was fine, however, when we checked in, we immediately noticed that one of the sliding glass doors window was shattered and covered in blue tape. This, as you can imagine, was a hindrance to the waterfront view that we were hoping for. On Monday (we checked in on Sunday), during business hours, I called and left a message with no reply. I then texted with no reply. It wasn't until I had to call again for our hot water not working did we receive any kind of response. We were then told that the glass was on order and would not be replaced while we were there. This was unfortunate as there was a tornado warning while we were there and we left as we did not feel safe with an exterior door that was not intact. I asked if there could be a concession, to which I again, received no reply. While I understand that things happen and sometimes cannot be avoided, the communication was poor and customer service was severely lacking.

Great quiet location The property is in an awesome quiet location with a private beach. The umbrella and chairs each morning on the beach is very convenient. The place could use better bathroom lighting and there’s a few broken tiles in the bathroom; however, very minor issues. Would highly recommend.

Beach vacation Blue Tide 8A was the perfect place for our Florida Beach getaway. Clean comfortable but best of all close to the Beach!! The beach chairs and umbrella set up was an added bonus! The beach was not crowded at all. Proximity to Panama City and Destin makes this location ideal!!

Beach getaway Toes in the sand. Great weather. Daily beach breeze cooling off a bit.

Supplies and bathroom No teaspoons to eat cereal. Extra large tablespoons only. Bathroom remodel shower was poorly done. Water pooled on seat, floor slippery and tiles missing from seat area.

Best beachfront property We really enjoyed our stay here. The condo was beautifully decorated, recently renovated, and had a beautiful beach view. Property is on the first floor, and it made for easier transport of our supplies down to the beach. Parking spots are clearly labeled with the condo numbers, so you don’t have to fight with neighboring condos for parking. There are a couple of flights of stairs down to the beach, but they weren’t an issue for us at all. We have stayed at several different condos along 30A over the years, but overall this one is our favorite by far! Highly recommend, and we hope to rebook for next summer! :-)

Good Times Only thing is the sprinklers got us when we were loading up to leave. It was actually funny. A storm was rolling in but it was the storm that got us. The sprinkler system got us. We actually laughed. Just a funny as we were leaving at 4 am. Thank you for everything! Great communication!

Great private beach access Loved our stay - the convenience to the beach plus the included beach chair/umbrella set-up was such a great aspect of our stay. The unit was also in great condition with the recent upgrades. The only drawback was the stream of contractors throughout the week, but I understand the need to invest/improve the condos and stay relevant. We also had a plumber come by on our first morning with no advance notice which was frustrating. Honest mistakes do happen, however, and it would not prevent us from returning next year. All in all - a great value to see all that NW Florida has to offer!

Cold and windy, but… Enjoyed some R&R in this sweet, cozy condo! Very clean and nicely decorated. Mattress was so comfy. Very nice view of the ocean while sitting on the couch, sipping my coffee. Customer service was top-rate! Will definitely be back!

Great Location, needs some updating! Old carpet & shaggy rug that needs to be removed from a rental. Definitely could use some updating compared to others in the same complex we have stayed in. The smell when we checked in was very strong. Not sure if it was the cleaning products, but was hardly bearable. Throughout the week, it went away. Need to stock plenty of water & ice because there is no water system/filter with the fridge. The location cant be beat. The complex is great! Love the bunks!

Great, but a few things to be aware of... Overall, we do recommend it, we enjoyed our stay and would consider returning. Pros and Cons below. *Pros*: Tremendous location, reserved umbrella/chairs on beach, parking space outside front door, easy check in/out process, big kitchen, solid bunk beds. *Cons* 1) Cheap appliances - fridge / freezer did not cool sufficiently. We had to dispose of food and spent much more $ eating out than we had planned. We asked for it to be addressed. Day 1, a technician came, but the door was dead-bolted so they could not access. We asked for them to return and they never did. 2) Thin ceilings - condo above allows 12 people, which can sound like a herd of elephants above you through no fault of their own. We didn't sleep well until they decided to settle down. 3) Picture misleading. There are 52 stairs to the beach. OK if you're in physical condition to handle it. Would be very tough for some. 4) Building in general is a bit weathered and needs some TLC.

Loved Everything But the Smell Property was in a great location and was literally right on the beach. One negative was the smell, it's an older unit and smelled like old cigarette smoke.

Wonderful Stay This location can\'t be beat ... right on the beach. Condo was well appointed and very clean. We did have trouble with living room tv but the property manager was very accessible and responsive. We did notice that the ice maker wasn\'t always working but there are ice trays so that was our backup. We would definitely choose this property again.

December 2020 Visit Great Location. Not impressed with Property Mgt team. Pros: Easy Check-in, Unit clean and well stocked, location on the beach was great. Cons: We logged a maintenance ticket (main TV broken, Toilet required constant plunging) upon arriving and never got a response from Property Mgt team during 4-day stay. The unit above 8a was going thru a complete renovation resulting in constant daytime noise. We were outside most of the time, but in our opinion this should have been communicated prior to our arrival. We recommend Blue Tide as a destination, but will use a different property mgt company next time we visit Seacrest.

Great Location, do not rent equipment using the provided number We loved the location. the unit is on the ground floor so lugging groceries or luggage was easy. You walk right out the back door and down the stairs to the beach. the beach there is perfect. DO NOT CALL THE PROVIDED NUMBER FOR BEACH CHAIRS! it is a scam. they place the chairs on a public beach a half mile further down. instead you have to go to the beach and call them number on the back of the chairs in front of the condo. that company sets up the chairs in front of the unit and charges less.

Overall this unit was much better than our other one. The bed was amazingly comfortable, the kitchen is fully stocked with anything you might need, and the views are amazing. My only negative is that the shower really needed a good deep cleaning. There was quite a bit of mold in the shower, I sprayed it down with bleach when I got there but I really think this needs to be addressed. However we really enjoyed our stay and will likely book this unit again in the future.
