The house was very clean and had everything we needed for a great weekend getaway. The house was in a great location to adventure around Door County.

It was perfect for a sisters vacation. Positive: Secluded, very private, lovely home. Negative: Loved it.

Great property in great location. Nice and quiet setting, but still close to Fish Creek. I recommend it to others looking for a nice spot in Door County.

Plenty of space for our daughter, dog, and in laws. Loved the porch / wrap around deck, great place to take in the bird songs and the rustle of the trees. Kitchen is nicely remodeled with a very large island where we could dine and play board games (plenty supplied by host). Bathrooms were clean and beds comfortable. Our daughter loved the old school electric keyboard/organ. The place was a little tricky to find at first since it's hidden down a shared private unpaved road. The neighbor's "America First" sign at the entrance in Spring Dr helped make it easy to spot the turn in once we found the place. Being Asian American with in laws visiting from Vietnam, the politics represented by the sign was a bit unwelcoming, but the neighbor was cordial enough.

Nice private property close to attractions

Clean and spacious. Not “luxurious” but simple and tasteful. Lacked serviing bowls and a few utensils but otherwise well equipped. Good location. Overall a very nice place.

We stayed here with our family of five, including three young kids ages 1-6. My in-laws joined us for 3 of our 7 days, and brought their two dogs. It was perfect. We especially liked the outdoor space and front deck. There was so much privacy and the location is ideal for anyone looking to journey around the peninsula. Highly Recommend!!!

This home was exceptional and had everything we needed to feel right at home during our vacation! Positive: This home was exceptional! We had everything we needed and felt like we were right at home during our stay! I would recommend this home and Simple Life Rentals to anyone! Our next vacation will be booking with them for sure! Negative: Not much to be negative about. However, we could not get the fireplace to work (may not have been on) and I had to do a search for the ceiling fan remote (didn't know there was one). But those issues were of no concern to us, we loved our stay!

The house was nice, clean, spacious and in a central location. It’s a little outdated, but comes fully stocked. While it’s in a central location, you have to drive everywhere - about 4-5 min to fish creek. We thought the price was a little high considering only one family can stay with the guest limit of 6.

We had a perfect girls family trip here. Had no complaints. Was very comfortable for the six of us. Beautiful home and yard. Loved sitting on porch in the morning coffee clutching with the family and making memories. Nice location. Wouldn’t hesitate to book again. Pricey but comparable to other places for high season in Door County.

This rental was as described and more. There are more amenities and conveniences than were listed in the description. They really thought of everything. There were extras of everything as far as linens. I did not need to bring my own tissues and tp. There are benches in the back hallway entrance and in the bathroom that made things so convenient. It was a perfect location for my family and my reactive dog. The quiet, private setting meant that my dog only had an occasional squirrel to complain about. She even got used to the delightful bird clock, and Flossie the metal goat sculpture. Lol. It is a short drive to Fish Creek shops, restaurants, and the marina. My mom enjoyed the local literature/information and we played some of the games. I would definitely rent from Simple Life again.

Filthy carpet and dusty The house was spacious and had potential but the once white carpet was covered in stains and didn't appear to have been vacuumed before we arrived, and the furniture had a thick layer of dust on top. I was inclined to start cleaning once I arrived but restrained myself. The location was very nice and peaceful. The carpet needs to be replaced with something a bit darker and cleaned regularly. The mattresses were not the greatest and it might be time to replace them. After I stripped the beds, I realized that there was no mattress pad on the queen bed which was disgusting. We paid top dollar because of VRBO's dynamic pricing and I don't think that the condition of the house warranted the cost and certainly not the cleaning and service fees. These were not the kinds of issues that the rental agent could have fixed during our stay but should have been noticed by the staff that maintains the house prior to our arrival. I alerted the agent about my concerns when we left.

Great place Near Fish Creek and Egg Harbor and others. Great art studio just down the street and great hands on crafts nearby. House was awesome and as described.

In the middle of nowhere yet close to everything We loved everything about this house and it suited our needs perfectly. We're have 3 generations of family staying and we love cooking at home. This was the perfect house to get to where we wanted to go and then come back to a comfortable and cozy house to make dinner and get the kids to bed. The house was super clean when we arrived and it had all the amenities listed that we expected. The grill was an awesome plus for our burger night. The 2 main bedrooms (queen and king beds) are great for adults and the bunk bed room which is super small was perfect for a 6 and 7 y/o who spend zero time in their room on a vacation anyway. The location is perfectly centered in the middle of everywhere and the longest car trip we had was up to the north part of the peninsula where you pick up the ferry to Washington Island. Otherwise, max 25 minutes to everywhere. We loved everything about our time at this house and will gladly consider it again if we come back to Door County. Thank you for a wonderful stay!!

Happiness is... A house in the woods. Quiet, clean, bright, spacious, comfortable. Everything in working order. A clean freak ways loves having a washer and dryer. A short ride to anywhere. Located at the end of the road is was delightful to have an area to allow my geriatric best friend meander far away from the roads. Everything was greatly appreciated. Just the three of us.

blue skies and cherry pie The place was excellent get away. We enjoyed it, everything that we need was there. We decided not do any cooking, because we were on vacation and spend the time eating out. The dog enjoyed her stay and only slept on the bed with us for a few hours because of the thunderstorm that passed through. Meet the neighbor and he was enjoyable to speech with. The whole experience was excellent, will be planning on using this out fit again. Thank you

Clean great location! Wonderful stay with my parents and husband! Very clean bright and cheerful. Great kitchen plenty of storage and lots of room for our family. Beautiful big outdoor wooded setting lots of windows and close to Fish Creek. Would definitely stay here again!
