This was such a lovely and cozy getaway! The space is charming, the kitchen is well stocked, the beds are extremely comfortable, and the hot tub is fantastic! My friends and I had a beautiful time taking in the scenery and cooking meals together. A note for highly sensitive people, as it is pet friendly you might experience some allergies, but the space is clean.

The perfect house for a getaway. Great house. Amazing bedrooms. So tastefully decorated. Lots of games and entertainment in the house. Nice fire pit. Excellent place for a friends or family trip.

Stayed here for a quick weekend trip with friends for a nearby wedding. No complaints! The house and grounds were beautiful and well appointed. Good vibes. Comfy beds. The kitchen had everything we needed. The hot tub was perfect. The house has a lived-in feel, which we all found nice and charming. Highly recommend.

I recently stayed at this Airbnb with 3 friends for a weekend staycation and although a pretty house, we had a very unpleasant experience. After sleeping there for two nights, we had bed bug bites all over our legs. 2 of the 4 guests were seen by doctors and prescribed topical medications after and they also confirmed that the bites did look just like bed bugs. We immediately contacted the company and they assured us that pest control would be sent to check the property. They promised to send us a certificate of clearance after or if there were confirmed bed bugs, a full refund. We agreed to either, as these things unfortunately could happen. They called us the next day saying that there were guests staying there for a few days (who they “informed of the possible bed bugs”) so they wouldn’t be able to have pest control come until those guests checked out. It has now been 2 weeks since our visit without any initiative to follow up or resolve the situation from the host.

We really loved our stay at this house. It is family friendly. We had enough room for the 5 of us. The bedrooms were all approved by the kids. It a really comfortable space between the kitchen and living room. We also enjoyed the porch, hot tub and firepit. The house is really beautiful my wife and daughters loved the bathrooms and kitchen. We enjoyed our stay and it was nice to slow down.

Great house. Very well decorated and the condition was very nice. It had everything we needed. My kids and dog loved the rolling hill. It was a very enjoyable stay.

Wonderful location in the Hudson Valley. Very beautiful lot, very peaceful location. The host provided all the amenities needed for my family’s long weekend visit. We really enjoyed the house. Definitely will be back for another trip. Thank you

We had a really nice stay overall. The home was easy to get to, and the hosts were excellent with communication from start to finish. Instructions were clear and easy to follow, which made check-in and the overall stay seamless.The house itself is very comfortable with a great open floor plan that made it perfect for lounging with coffee in the morning and gathering for family-style dinners. There were games, interesting photos, and little knickknacks throughout the home that made for fun conversation pieces. The bedrooms were all comfortable and there’s lots of natural light throughout the house.One of our favorite parts was the front window with the bird feeders, we loved hearing and watching the birds, and a couple of cardinals visited throughout the weekend. The hot tub was fantastic and so relaxing, the water pressure in the showers was great, and the house was well stocked with extras like toilet paper, blankets, and trash bags. The speaker system was also a nice bonus.We also appreciated that the home is pet friendly, which is a huge plus for those traveling with dogs and it wasn’t obvious at all by looking at the home or from any smell.The only downside was that we did notice a few cleanliness issues. Nothing that ruined the trip, but it’s an area that could use a little more attention.Overall, we had a great stay and would recommend the home for people looking for a comfortable, relaxed place to gather.

The home is tucked away in a quiet neighborhood close to surrounding towns. The kitchen had everything you could need to make a meal at home, but we opted to eat out - about 15 minutes to many restaurants. The hot tub was fantastic, easy to use. There was lots of wood there (and lighter) ready to make a fire. Beds were comfortable, linens were clean. Our Great Dane, Salem, fully approves. What more could you want for the perfect fall getaway?

Loved our stay - very clean and responsive! Awesome large kitchen, comfy beds, cold AC and great amenities like the hot tub, fire pit and every streaming service on the TV. Close drive to Woodstock, hikes, waterfalls, etc. an't wait to come back!

The house was really beautiful and the folks managing the rental property (not the owners of the home) were very attentive. Unfortunately I can't give more than a one star because we had to call the fire department and leave for carbon monoxide from the stove/oven venting and the firefighters turning off the heat as a precaution. The team was responsive with refunding as much of my stay as possible (though fees are still outstanding). If this is fixed, I could recommend this stay to other people but I feel unfair rating it any higher than one star at this point.

Communication was great! House had everything you could ever need. Highly recommend!

Appreciated the design elements that made the house special, less cookie cutter. The house was clean and well-equipped. Wish we knew how to operate the Sonos system….

We were impressed by how well maintained the home was. We enjoyed the plethora of games and puzzles and appreciated how clean and well stocked the house was of towels, linens, etc… the Kitchen was a dream to cook in! From the photos we didn’t realize how close the neighbors were, which was our only hesitation about this property. Otherwise we are very much looking forward to our next stay with Red Cottage and will be seeking out their properties moving forward!

We had a wonderful stay at the Red Cottage! It was local to Woodstock and easy to get around. The host was very responsive and communicated well. We would definitely come back!

Saugerties stay The house was lovely, the deck was nice but it's in full sun, they had an umbrella but that wasn't enough, they really need a roll out canopy.The house is next to a very busy busy intersection which was misleading in the description.

Overall nice stay. Great views and area. Caution though, The blue tooth speakers are very confusing and an app is needed so you may want to bring your own. Nice beds, but no black out curtains or working ceiling fans. Great potential but lots of little issues that should have been taken care of before we got there. I would just double check with owners to ensure everything is working correctly before booking.

Loved the house and grounds. The hot tub didn’t work - it never was higher than 95 degrees. We booked the house because of jacuzzi.

We had a great stay!! Only thing I’d improve is the water pressure in the main bedroom bathroom and black out shades as the mornings were hot and bright. Other than that we had the best time and would definitely be back. The outdoor area is amazing and the house is fully equipped and comfortable and cozy.

The house was a great place to stay to visit the area and neighboring towns. The home is even more than the pictures- it is very well equipped and a great place to spend time, both indoors and out. Hot tub and fireplace were bonuses! We loved the decor, beds were comfy and it was an overall great air bnb!
